Chapter 8: Transaction

I was surprised at what I saw, how this thing got close to here. I didn't even hear any footsteps even though the distance between us was close enough. The creature had a childlike body and brown leather clothing, a strange mask covering his face, on his back was a sizable bag.

What does this mean? What exactly does this creature do? Does this creature not attack? So what exactly did the creature do? Did he ask for anything?

I'm trying to guess what the creature wants, I want to attack but I don't know if it's hiding anything. It is very rash to attack something that is not known for sure, especially in an unknown situation this could be the worst decision.

After all, so far there is no sign of aggression carried out by the creature. So it's possible that this thing isn't threatening even though I'm not 100% sure%.

Back to the beginning, I was still trying to guess the creature's wish despite wearing a mask, but somehow I felt that the creature's gaze was fixed on the chocolate chip I had eaten before.

But fortunately even after giving the chocolate, the monster did not take any action just looking at the chocolate in his hand in silence. Just then, the monster stuffed chocolate into his pocket, and his hand took the bag that was on his back while thrashing inside like it was looking for something.

After some time, the monster finally took out a small box and stretched it out to me. 

Did he give me this instead of chocolate? I took the box out of the hands of this little monster carefully. But even after I took the box, this little creature still extended its hand, does he want to exchange again?

But before that I slowly returned to another place, seeing what the monster had given me. It looks like this is a box that has a lid, opening the lid I found the contents of the box is a green solid, I don't know what this is. But when I tried to smell this substance, I knew immediately that it looked like a balm.

It's a surprise, the thing we don't have right now is drugs. And also the balm, does this monster know that we really need the balm right now to heal Olivia.

And also is that creature the type of a wanderer like in the RPG games I've played? it's a pretty unexpected discovery.

When I saw the bullet magazine, I was shocked. Did this little monster have a firearm with him? Thinking of that I decided to trade a few more items but as a result I didn't get a gun from the creature.

I actually wanted to exchange again, but swapping over this would put the team in a supply crisis, so I could only hold myself back for now.

The result of the additional exchange is as follows, 3 packs of toilet paper, a glass bottle full of silver coins, spray cooling, and an antique watch.

It can be said that we have a big profit here, even though there are some items that are useless or we do not know their function. But most have very important functions, especially watches. All watches brought from the outside world will not work in this place for example the clock belongs to Olivia and mine.

But the watch that the creature was given could still function which suggests that this watch must have been made differently. The function of the clock is very important to us, this can be the only rationality left over from the relics of the outside world.

And also with this clock all plans can be better controlled.
