Chapter 25: Reversal

Lan and the others ran through the deserted streets. To protect Olivia who had the ability to show the way, Lan and Robert ran in the back position for a while Joshua and Hyunsuk were in the leading position and of course Olivia was in the middle position.

Of course behind them were many screaming sounds that chased after them quickly. No one dared to look back, the sound of monsters getting closer and closer already showed the distance between the monster and the others

This frightened everything but the priority at the moment was to run as hard as possible first.

The grenade blew up some of the monsters in its path, scattering pieces of meat around. Seeing his comrades die, the other monsters seemed to become even more furious and crazily chased after Lan.

With the direction from the monster leader, all the monsters in each of his paths dashed swiftly towards Lan.

Everything ran until they arrived at the overpass, Lan saw that the others had already reached the limit and would not be able to run any further than this. Even Lan had to hold Olivia back because the injury to Olivia's own leg had not healed enough and she was forced to run to her limit again this time which made her leg injury back.

And unlucky again, in front of them a large truck that seemed to have long fallen toppled blocked their entire road access to advance forward.

There was a small path to pass but it would take some time for everything to come out and in that way the monsters would quickly catch them.

Even if everyone has enough time to get through this truck, then what, what, after all the others did not have the manpower to run anymore there were also some groups of monsters from the left lane that would catch them if they continued on the run.

Lan who was calmly holding the Revolver in her hand immediately aimed at one of the monsters who was very close and without hesitation directly pulled the trigger.

The sound of bullets piercing through the air exerted a terrifying pressure for the people who heard them. The monster Lan was aiming at without being able to mount any defense instantly fell as a bullet flew through her head.
