Chapter 27: The Duel

As team Lan was resting after the battle, suddenly a black shadow silhouette that very quickly jumped up. Lan was the first to react but because her physique and soul were too tired, and the attacks that were launched were also stealthy, as well, in the end he was also unable to respond in time as the shadowy figure crashed into him falling to the side of the other bridge path below.

Although he had the sword Lan could not once launch an attack because of all the wounds on his body and also he had reached the limit. Therefore, when he saw the monster running back towards him Lan just smiled resignedly accepting the fact that he was going to die before he lost consciousness.

But before Lan lost consciousness, for the last time she felt a strange sensation back in her body.

Olivia and the others when seeing Lan lose consciousness could not help but cry, as Lan was already like their backbone. All could get here because of the support given by Lan, and also only with Lan's presence could everything remain calm in this chaotic world.

Now seeing Lan going to die, how could they not help but be saddened by the helplessness of everything that was unable to help Lan at all. They hate their weak and weak selves, and moreover they hate this world so much that it gives them cruel experiences every time.

As the monster and Lan's distance drew closer, the monster raised its huge fist and was about to deliver its heaviest blow to end Lan immediately. When the distance between them was only 3 meters, the unconscious Lan also advanced and swung her sword forward.
