Chapter 16: New Members

" Aw aw, stop my body getting sick enough at the moment" I said to the two.

The two of them seemed to be not listening to me, so I could only tap on the heads of the two lightly.

*blow blow

"" Aw ""

" Now get out of the way, I can't move "

Olivia and Hyunsuk immediately crouched down beside me while holding their heads. I sat down and stretched my body as all my muscles started to ache. This shit is very painful, fortunately there are no heavy injuries and injuries on my body.

The bag on my back also helped to dampen the impact directly on the floor, but I was worried that some of the items in my bag would be damaged. After all the previous impact was very hard, it's like I got hit by a car.

" I'm sorry Lan "

" Yes, forgive us hyung "

It seemed like both of them felt guilty for not being able to handle the monster. But how else, it's not entirely their fault. This world was strange, and the monsters before were abnormal that were difficult to deal with.

And also do not forget that before we were just ordinary civilians, you do not expect that we will be as strong as special soldiers, right? This is even two or three days we are here, can survive until now alone has become a gratitude for us.

So I shook my head, and talked to both of them.

" No, it's not your fault, this monster alone is too abnormal for us. Make this an experience because we will most likely meet a monster like this again "

After giving a tranquilizing word, I immediately said back, "You guys immediately keep an eye on the two people and question them. Stay alert on both, I'll catch up after checking my bag "

The two nodded and immediately walked towards the two strangers as I checked my bag. Well, maybe because of my thick bag or something, just a few broken supplies like my ramen cup that broke and some things that had their parcels broken.

But fortunately most were fine, after making sure of everything. I repackaged all my supplies into the bag and immediately walked towards Hyunsuk and Olivia who seemed to be introgating the two strangers.

From Olivia's story, the two are a father and son couple named Robert and Joshua who are also brought into this strange world through a black room. Both managed to get to this place after overcoming many difficulties, it can be seen from torn clothes and scars everywhere.

While exploring this floor, the two met the crawling monster and eventually ran away to meet us.

Well the story seems far-fetched, actually think of it like it's pretty depressing with the solid evidence that's on their bodies. I also did not expect that the black room could attract and carry several people simultaneously.

Does that mean there are people out there with full groups? Well if it's civilians it won't be of any use, but if a team composed of military also comes in, I'm sure they'll definitely be very quick to take control of this floor.

Well quite presumptuous, I immediately looked at Robert with a serious gaze that created a tense atmosphere around.

Even Robert who looked into my eyes seemed to be trembling slightly, after all this person in front of him was a person capable of killing monsters that made them despair. And also from the previous interaction, Robert knew that this man was the leader of this fully armed team.

Staring at Robert seriously, I began to speak "There's not much I'm saying, like you we're also the ones who were brought here through the black room. We assembled a team with the same goal of finding a way out. Through the process, we will cut and remove anyone who gets in our way. In essence, you only have two choices, we split up and go our own way or you can join us and build trust in each other" I said, extending a hand.

I didn't make that decision carelessly. At the moment the condition of our team may seem sufficient, but there are many shortcomings if you look deeper. With additional people, it is expected to fill these empty gaps. Nobody said more people were more trouble, right? Also the biggest reason why I offered this to Robert was because my instinct was to say that Robert wasn't a bad guy.

It may seem trivial, but ever since I came to this world. I can only survive it all because of my instincts, be it when searching for supplies, fighting monsters, I rely on my instincts for so long.

That said, there is nothing more to believe than yourself, right?

After I offered that, Robert and Joshua looked at each other looking puzzled at my offer. They thought Lan would give them a heavy request, after all in this world there were no governing laws. A person can act arbitrarily without worrying about his actions.

It didn't take long before Robert looked at me and nodded immediately taking my hand.

My originally serious expression, began to slacken and I revealed a small smile before speaking, "Welcome to the Team "

" Yes, thank you for inviting us into the team" Robert said with a smile.
