Chapter 13: The Magic Medicine

After exploring for a few hours, Lan's group decided to take a break. During our previous explorations we met with several entities, some of those entities were dog monsters, tall monsters, and also there was a new kind of monster that we called Burster. 

This entity was a gigantic humanoid that had an extremely fat body, this entity had quite slow movements probably due to its own weight. But this monster was able to spit out acid-like liquid from a distance, as for the reason we called it Burster it was because when Hyunsuk tried to shoot the monster, he said, the monster's body instantly exploded splashing green acid in all directions. 

Fortunately we kept a considerable distance away from the monster, otherwise our bodies might have melted due to acid.

The supplies we get are also quite rich here, if the 2nd floor is a reserve of necessities of life, on this floor there are many military-grade weaponry equipment available. During the exploration, we had already found at least 5 military knives, one gun ammunition box, 1 Tonfa, a pair of military bots, 1 combat army armor, 2 pairs of military jackets, 6 rations, gloves, etc, the last one was Colt 1911.

This is the second firearm we've found so far, one has to know how important firearms are in this world. This greatly reduces the risk of death when one encounters one of the entities here, one of the most memorable examples being fighting the burster. Fighting him closely is tantamount to suicide, when your weapon penetrates the monster's body, then your destiny is locked.

After all, concrete alone can melt under the acid of the monster, not to mention the human body.

And also, we have quite a lot of ammunition for this firearm. While the shotgun that Hyunsuk used was only 4 bullets left, we did not find any ammunition for the Shotgun during our exploration.

Well, for now the gun is held by me. Earlier I tried to give it to Hyunsuk earlier because he was the one guarding the front row from earlier, but he said it would be too greedy if he was the one holding all the weapons, so I just kept it.

After finding a random spot and being judged safe, we took a break. Because we got the rations before so no one thought about skimping when everyone started eating the rations one by one.

" Yes I got great stuff too this time" Hyunsuk said as he stared at the contents of the Lamb Curry, beans and raisins plus bread, there was also an energy drink beside him.

Curious too I opened my ration only to be silent on what I was getting. Hyunsuk who saw the contents of my ration also fell silent before offering himself, "Do you want to exchange hyung? " hyunsuk said awkwardly.

Stop it, it just makes me look more pathetic, even Olivia got Pasta with meat mix accompanied by some biscuits. Why do I only have rice and vegetables and lemon?

Communication is very important in a team, because it determines how good team conditions will be formed.

" How is that, is it still painful" I told Olivia while slightly pressing a bruise on her leg.

While holding a concrete pole at the side, Olivia tried to stand up. As a result he was fine, even he tried to walk and still did not feel any pain. Only when he decided to run did his legs begin to throb.

After a break, we decided to continue our journey. Olivia offered to walk on her own because her leg condition had improved, and it would be awkward if we continued the routine of princes and princesses when the person in question knew that she could walk again.

Since I've started being free enough, I gave M1911 to Olivia to protect herself. At first he refused but I insisted on giving it which Olivia eventually accepted shyly.

As for why I gave it does not mean I do not like firearms. This was a personal wish, but I was more likely to choose cold weapons like this katana and fire axe. Other than to train my own body, somehow my instincts say that training the body and techniques will be very useful in the future.

And after all, one must protect the team if any enemy escapes the bullets and goes into close range to attack us. So I gave the gun to Olivia.
