Chapter 5: KABURRR!!!

I continued to stare at the creature with great seriousness, my hand already pulling the katana from its sheath slowly, waiting for the next situation to come. I could sense that the others were even scared enough to make one move.

Whispering quietly to the others I spoke, "Slowly retreat to another branch of the tunnel. Wait for my signal, when I say run then run with all your might, do not look back, do not care about the path you take, just focus on running. I'll keep you guys from behind understand "

I can't look back but I know my words came pretty clear to the others. With it we try to retreat slowly while still keeping our eyes on the creature, the predators usually attack when their prey turns its back on them. So that's why I didn't dare to even look away at this creature.

As we continued to try to retreat, the creature finally began to move. The sharp eyes and teeth of the creature gradually advanced towards us. Looking at this increasingly chaotic situation, I took a deep breath as my mouth said "Run! "

In an instant Hyunsuk and Olivia ran with all their might towards the branching of another tunnel. I also followed from behind, not needing to see I could clearly sense that the creature behind us was chasing after us fast enough.

We ran across the tunnel quickly, there were a few branches we encountered. But we don't care about any branching because our focus right now is to avoid the creature.

Right now all my adrenaline is racing, the feeling of terror chasing behind me is terrible. It's like a child trying to turn off the lights in the living room and run as fast as possible to the room because of the thought of something chasing in the dark. 

But the feeling this time could not even be compared to actual terror. I'm just grateful that the others can still keep running at this situation, I can bet most people will probably be paralyzed from fearing this creature.

Running all over the tunnel, I can't count how many branches we've been through. At that time we encountered a fairly steep intersection, due to the acceleration of the run that was fast enough, Olivia was unable to turn precisely so that it fell to the ground quite hard and dropped the flashlight. Staring at us, the monster came back after us quickly.

Trying to catch up with all my might, I could feel the monster getting closer and closer. Just then I arrived at the branch and continued to run in pursuit of the direction Hyunsuk was running in, while also the breath I felt behind me seemed to run in a different direction. It seems to me right that the monster was attracted to the flashlight.

But from the behavior that the monster showed before, it was only a matter of time when the monster would come back after us.

Hearing my words, Hyunsuk did not dare to slow down, taking out his second flashlight he lit the flashlight and threw the flashlight all the way to another branch as he ran into a different tunnel.

Regardless of the monster chasing back, I kept running and running carrying Olivia towards the path that Hyunsuk was on.
