Andreas returns home upset after Andra reveals the shocking news. The plan that had been arranged neatly by Selma had to fall apart due to Andra and Azimah's sudden decision.
"How can they decide things unilaterally without talking about it to the family? Do they think this marriage is just about them?!" Andreas grouse while taking off his tie by force.
"Iyas ...," Emma who was about to fetch water in the kitchen was confused to see the arrival of Andreas with his upset face.
"Mommy's not asleep?" Asked Andreas who was a little shocked by Emma's presence in the darkness of his room.
"Mom's going to sleep, but Mom's drinking water is running out" Emma replied. "Why your face?"
Andreas took a deep breath, walked towards the sofa and threw his back heavily.
"Otherwise, Mom?" Andreas. "Mother's granddaughter and her future husband are making trouble again."
Emma frowned hearing that, "Holy do you mean?" Ask ensures.
"Who else is the mother's granddaughter getting married?" Andreas replied a little reluctantly.
Emma gets more confused, when Azimah comes home and meets her, there's no problem. Everything looks fine.
"What's the problem, huh? Azimah and Andra why else?" Cecar Emma is curious.
Andreas closed his eyes, massaging his temples that felt heavy.
"They want to get married next week!" Andreas answered briefly.
"Huh? What's?" Shouted Emma in disbelief, the glass teapot she was holding almost fell if she did not notice it immediately.
"Isn't next week her engagement?" Tukas Emma added.
Andreas rolled his eyes lazily, that was what his mind was on at the moment.
"Come on, Mom." Andrew showed his weak face. "I'm out of words with both."
Emma sat down, following Andreas who was leaning his back against the wall of the sofa.
"You've asked what the problem is? Why do they want to get married in the near future?" Ask Emma to make sure. Andreas just shook his head slowly.
"I'll question Azimah tomorrow, just ..," Andreas held back his sentence, looking at Mother hesitantly.
"What only?" Emma asked with a meaningful chin swing.
"Only, I was afraid of Selma's reaction. He would be furious at Azimah or Andra. The hard-earned wedding preparations he made had to fall apart by the sudden decision of the two children" Andreas said in an upset tone.
Emma thought so too. He knew very well how his spirit Selma arranged the marriage of Azimah and Andra. Finding his plans altered all of a sudden, he believes Selma will go berserk.
"But this is inevitable, Iyas!" Emma. "We have to talk about it, it can't be left alone. It's a wedding, not a regular event. Everything must be planned carefully, can not be careless. Remember, there's a good name both families brought in this marriage."
Andreas nodded confirming, "I'll have Andra come tomorrow, we'll listen to both explanations. If it can't be avoided, what can it do. Sooner or later they'll get married."
Emma nodded in understanding, "Now rest! Selma must have been waiting for you."
"Mother too" Andreas kissed her mother's cheek, moved and slowly went to her room.
Andrew opened the room door. Sure enough, Selma was still awake in front of the ornamental table. Slowly Andrew came in and approached him.
"You haven't slept, honey?" Ask Andreas slowly. He kissed Selma's cheek gently.
Andreas swallowed his coarse saliva, looking at his wife with a pitying face. His hard work seemed worthless with the unilateral decision that Andra and Azimah took.
"Darling, I have something to say." Andreas brings Selma to the side of the bed, Selma complies without objection. But the look on his face was astonished by Andreas' attitude.
"What, Iyas? It looks serious?" Said Selma still reviewing the smile knot on her cheek.
"About the engagement event," Andreas held back his sentence, feeling hesitant to tell the truth. But before long he remembered the words of Emma who asked that everything be resolved clearly.
"Why the engagement?" Selma asked who was starting to get anxious. "Don't tell me that this engagement is canceled!"
Andreas shook his head repeatedly, held onto Selma's shoulder and tried to calm her down.
"No, Honey. No!" Andreas Steady. "His engagement was not annulled, only we have to confirm first from Azimah or Andra."
"Surely what else, Iyas? Didn't they agree to marry? They're ready to get married, aren't they?!" Selma Cecar.
Andreas nodded quickly, confirming all the expressions wrapped in the question of doubt.
"Andra told me that next week they're getting married, not engaged!" It was clearly Andreas who instantly made Selma's face change.
"What does this mean? How can they change the process without talking about it to all of us? They assume our existence is not?!"
Selma ignited, feeling disrespected by the decision that Andra and Azimah made. He knew that the two loved each other, but they had agreed to give all their preparations to Selma.
"Calm down, don't get carried away!" Andreas said reminded. "Tomorrow we'll find out the reason for both of them, but you need to calm down. I don't want any more debate. If they want to get married next week, then let it go."
Selma shook her head in disbelief, "Can't, Iyas!" The sergeant quickly. "The invitation has been spread with the engagement event, this will be a big question if suddenly we change it directly to the blessing procession. I don't accept it!"
Andreas had guessed that would happen, he immediately pulled Selma, trying to give Selma an understanding of the sudden decision taken by Andra and Azimah.
"Our son must have had a reason to decide this. We have to figure it out first, and then we leave that decision back to them." Andreas suggested.
"Then what is the need for our opinion again," said Selma growled. "If they want to get married, let them get married. No need to ask the reason."
"Come, Selma. I know you want the best marriage for Azimah, but we can't impose our will either. Azimah and Andra have the right to decide their wishes. After some time this Azimah and Andra continue to fight, maybe if they are married the two will change," said Andreas again gave understanding to Selma.
"If they continue to fight, then they should introspect themselves instead of advancing the date that has been set!" Selma murmur. "This marriage is not only about the wishes of the Azimah or Andra, but also about the extended family. If they were so easy to decide on a big problem like this, how would it be when they had a problem in their household. Is it if fighting is always looking for easier solutions without thinking about what the trigger of the fight is?"
Andreas took a deep breath. It feels useless for him to give understanding to Selma, Selma already has her own views.
"We'll see tomorrow, okay? If you don't accept then you can explain to both. I asked Andra to come here to straighten things out so that there would be no misunderstanding between us, and I, like you, would not accept both decisions. But I can't force myself either, I have to listen to their excuses!" Andreas Steady.
Selma felt she had nothing to say to Andreas. Lately the two often quarrel just because of the marriage problems of Andra and Azimah.
"That's it, I'm tired!" Andreas said later. "I'll clean myself up, get my pajamas ready!"
Selma nodded slowly, trying to master the emotions that were starting to burn within her.
"Have you eaten?" Ask Selma in a flat tone.
"If the dish is you, then I will eat after the bath" Andreas said with a seductive glance.
"I'm on the red cross" Sardonic Selma.
