The sun shines brightly, striking the face of Azimah from the cracks of the window. Azimah squinted her forehead before she finally opened her eyes slowly. Azimah stretched his body, stretched all his muscles until when his eyes met the wall clock then he jerked until he almost jumped from the bed.
"Oh my God I'm late again!" shouts Azimah who immediately searched the bathroom and cleaned herself.
Azimah was ready with her work clothes. He ran small while tidying up the contents of his bag. Enter briefly into the dining room and take a few loaves of bread then rub it with jam. The atmosphere of the kitchen seemed quiet because he had missed his breakfast hours.
Azimah brushed the bread and ate it while walking with wide steps. When he arrived at the terrace of the house he looked shocked because he found Andra's car was perched with him sitting behind the wheel. Realizing the Azimah that had just come out, Andra approached him.
"You're late?" andra's question confused Azimah.
"Am I dreaming because I'm thinking too much?" mumbles Azimah does not believe.
"Hey .., did you hear me?" andra asked, flicking her finger in front of Azimah's face.
"Ah yes .., Uncle wants to see Dad? but it looks like Dad left first. The car is no longer there" explained Azimah as she looked towards the garage of her house.
"I'm coming to get you, come on!" exciting Andra.
Azimah was again confused by Andra's attitude. But he couldn't think properly so he just followed Andra. After sitting in your car, Azimah woke up.
"Uncle, I'll just leave in my car" said Azimah puzzled herself.
Azimah was about to open the door but Andra had already locked it first. Azimah turned to Andra but Andra casually drove her car. Azimah could only take a deep breath while massaging her painless forehead.
"Is he a teenager who is so unstable that his behavior is always changing?!" azimah grunts in the heart.
Azimah did not want to make himself dizzy again. He also chose to be quiet while chewing bread. The view never separated from outside the window where the road they pass is still fairly crowded.
During the trip, the two remained silent. Azimah did not want to start, he was too tired to understand all Andra's attitude. He just followed Andra's way of dealing with her.
When the red light suddenly Azimah's phone rang. Azimah saw the name of the person who called him.
"Ronald?" azimah Mummings. The azimah raised it.
"Hallo, Ronald" greeted Azimah shortly after pressing the green button.
When Ronald's name was mentioned at that time also Andra's view was shifted to the Azimah.
"I'm leaving, what's up.?" Azimah spoke without concern for Andra.
"Is that so? All right, you can pick me up at lunchtime. I didn't bring a car." Andra looked up at Azimah.
"Okay, see you!" shout Azimah and then press the red button on the screen of his phone.
The call was cut off just like that leaving Andra with an unbecoming mood.
Azimah felt that way, but he was too reluctant to ask because he did not have the right to it. Then he refocused on the outside streets.
Arriving at the office, Azimah thanked him and wanted to go down, but Andra held her hand.
"What's wrong?" ask Azimah.
Azimah's face wrinkled in wonder seeing Andra's face that was like a confused person herself.
"About yesterday, I'm sorry" Andra said softly. "I shouldn't have said that" Andra continued in a quiet voice.
"Aren't you angry?" Andra was still worried about Azimah's slightly different behavior this morning.
"I don't have that right. So why am I angry." Azimah said straightforwardly. But that did hurt Andra a little.
Azimah was about to open the door again but Andra again prevented it.
"Really .., I panicked too much. I was just thinking if you felt burdened by Anas. You know, I wanted to start a relationship with you but I had to make sure Anas was among us. Sorry if I think too much about it. I just ...,"
"Are you looking for a life partner or a mother?" sela Azimah's.
Andra frowned after Azimah interrupted her with a question that left her a little confused.
"I ..., I-I looked for both" replied Andra hesitantly. It looks so confused with his face. But Azimah smiled cynically at him.
"If you're looking for a mother for Anas, then you're the wrong person, Uncle," Azimah said. "I have no problem with Anas, I'm sure I can nurture and care for him with my own hands. But can you trust me to take care of her? When I talk like yesterday, you're angry. You know, that's what I said because I was worried about Anas. I don't want Anas to be okay just because of Maria's carelessness. But you're prejudiced by me. I can be both, but I can't be who you want me to be. I am not an inanimate object that can always obey all your desires" Azimah explained to length with burning eyes.
Andra was silent to hear it. Not yet he had time to open his mouth, Azimah had already pressed the central lock button and directly out of the car. Andra could only look at Azimah's back from a distance.
Azimah left Andra with teary eyes. She was crying again because of Andra.
"I'm tired .., I'm tired of waiting, tired of being patient with you. I feel like my feelings are being played here. When I was about to walk away you came with a hope I never imagined. When I try to get close, it's like you want to get rid of me" shouts Azimah in your heart.
Azimah regulated his breathing before he finally entered his office building. He tried to smile at the people who greeted him. When he got to the elevator, he breathed heavily. The old burden is now coming up again...
Azimah stared at her reflection from the elevator wall. He smiled sinisterly at himself why he was too fragile to face Andra. A strong desire seemed to mean nothing when Andra was already in front of him. That is how much influence Andra has on him....
Ting ...
The elevator opened, Azimah went straight into her room. He calmed his heart for a moment and tried to concentrate on his work. Amidst the raging thoughts, Azimah again received a call.
"Darling, are you off to work?" asked a woman gently but sounded a worried tone from her words.
"Yes, 'Mom. I'm working today. What's up?" reply Azimah no less soft.
"Mom thinks you're sick, so I didn't wake you. But Bibi said you left for work in a hurry and picked Andra up. Why don't you go find Mom?"
Again the name Andra is mentioned. Makes the Azimah remember him again.
"I'm late, Mom. Sorry" replied Azimah
"Yes, but you're not sick, are you?" ask Selma to make sure.
"No. Last night I was just too tired so I went to bed early. Don't worry, I'm fine" Azimah replied reassuring the mother.
"Alright, Honey. Don't forget to have lunch. I'm closing up!" selma said ending their conversation.
The call was interrupted accompanied by a heavy Azimah breath. The Azimah again focused all his attention on the work that was in front of his eyes. He did work in his father's company, but he did not want to work casually. Although Andreas did not dispute it, but Azimah did not want everything he did so far only considered as a tompleng his father's name.
