"empty?!"
"Yup, empty. It looks like the information is wrong." said Darren staring at Nirvana.
"Wait, what did you say? The information? You know anything about this?" Nirwana asked probing, he walked around the chest about to approach Darren.
Darren did not reply, and only commented a faint smile. "I just know, if nobody gets out of here except the chosen one."
"The chosen one how can we be sure who is elected? You, me, or who? Mr. Darren seems like there are a lot of questions you need to answer."
Darren avoided Nirvana by walking along, both like two clockwork twisting in unison.
"Do you know what's in here? Where and who told you to come here?" Nirwana poked Darren with a question, he impatiently waited for an answer from the pale-faced man.
"Wow, slow down, miss! We still have plenty of time. My name is Darren Constantin, I'm here of my own accord and how do I know this place? Because this is my territory."
"Your territory? You ask me to trust Mr. Darren, give me proof that you are the rightful owner of this territory!" ejek Nirwana is upset.
Darren stops right by the side of his family crest, he codes Nirwana to come closer with his finger.
"Come and see for yourself!"
Nirwana clucked in annoyance, he approached Darren and crouched down.
"See this sign, this is the coat of arms of the Constantin family."
Nirwana stared at Darren for a moment before he saw a stacked star carving that each corner had a symbol of the five vampire clans. A unique symbol that resembles a sequence of numbers in the Greek alphabet.
Nirvana felt the emblem, he still did not believe in Darren's confession.
"Everyone can admit it, including you sir!" again Nirvana mocked Darren making the pale-faced handsome man growled.
While looking at Nirwana he rolled up his shirt sleeves to the extent of his arms. A tattoo exactly with the emblem on the chest is clearly visible there. Darren aligns the tattoo on his arm with a carving. Nirvana was shocked.
"So you're right …,"
"The seventh constantine is my great-grandfather" Darren said quickly. "I came to confirm that information, you guys are looking for that relic right? I'll have to make sure myself that you don't damage my great-grandfather's stuff."
Nirwana was still doubtful of Darren's remarks. "Relic? Hhm, maybe." Nirvana let out a long sigh, "Listen Mr. Darren Constantin, you better get out of here. You saw what happened to my team, didn't you? Let me finish this search. I'm more comfortable working alone anyway."
Darren chuckled, 'Foolish girl, that relic is mine! I can't just hand it over to you!'
"Why are you laughing? Is this very dangerous, sir?"
"You sure you can handle it yourself? The way you read your writing was wrong, if I wasn't here your life would have been lost from the first time you set foot here!"
"You doubt my abilities sir, it's so disrespectful!"
"really? Well then, read this! Tell me what does it mean?!"
Darren pulled Nirvana by the hand, leading her to the wall where the memorial was inscribed. Nirwana's eyes were wide open to see lines of sentences in a language he had never learned. Mixed Latin and ancient Slavic. Nirvana does not understand the meaning. He thought hard to be able to read it, but unfortunately Nirvana did not understand it.
"How much longer do I have to wait?" Darren folded both hands in front of the chest waiting for Nirvana's reaction.
Shit, I don't understand this language! This guy makes me have to admit his cleverness!
"Ehm, I .. alright, I give up! I was wrong and didn't understand every language!" nirvana's voice sounded frustrated.
Unfortunately for him because his camera and microphone were damaged, Nirwana could not ask Gery for help in translating them.
"What does this writing mean?" Nirwana suppressed her ego by asking Darren, unfortunately Darren just smiled mockingly without answering. He even stepped closer to the stone coffin, of course Nirwana was upset by the pale but handsome man's behavior.
'Bad, he's playing me! Good thing he's smart and also. At least reduce that annoying attitude!'
Darren paused for a moment, "No way, I made sure this tomb was never touched other than by you and your team!"
Darren remembered something, Nirvana's blood triggered the opening of the chest. He pulled Nirvana's hand quickly making the girl surprised. "Hey, what are you doing!"
"Be quiet, your blood triggered the opening of the coffin. What if we try it one more time and see what happens?"
"You're crazy, where my blood may be the trigger, it could be exposed because I touched the goblin statue!" Nirvana was upset and pulled back her hand.
"You forgot the inscription on the tomb door? A drop of blood will raise up the great? We can try again!"
"Why don't you just shed your blood?!"
"Unfortunately, I can't!" Darren refused firmly. "Give me your hand! Do you want us to be here all night and argue?"
Nirvana sighed, she was annoyed by Darren's behavior. But he also agreed not to linger long in the basement let alone the two with Darren.
"All right, I agree."
Nirwana extended her hand, Darren smiled triumphantly. He pulled out a small knife from behind his clothes. Seeing that Nirvana was ambushed by fear.
"Wait a minute!" He pulled his hand again.
"What else?!"
Nirwana was holding onto Darren's wrist that was barely sliced, his heart was racing, he was nervous.
"Is there no other way? I was horrified to imagine the knife piercing my skin."
Darren chuckled at it, "What if I just bite, it won't cause pain just a little itch." Darren rolled his eyes.
Biting off? Looks like it's better than having to be sliced and also more ... romantic? Aah, is that what I was thinking?
Nirwana weighed Darren's offer, imagining his hand being bitten by a handsome man making her soul wrangle. His heart rippled just by imagining Darren's lips touching the surface of his hand.
What do you think hey perverted brain?! Nirvana cursed in her heart because she was unable to withstand the turmoil of her heart. Darren's offer was truly tantalizing, more precisely misleading to the mind!
Darren thunders loudly to disperse Nirvana's daydream about Darren's romantic bite. "Miss, I'm waiting for your answer. Want me to bite or …,"
"Don't take the chance, Mr. Darren, you better hurt my hand." Nirwana extended her hand to Darren.
"When I offer you something that doesn't hurt, but you choose pain." Darren smiled again making Nirwana wrong.
"I'll do it fast, trust me."
Nirwana closed her eyes as Darren sliced her wrists. Fresh blood flowed from Nirvana's smooth hand, dripping into the chest. Darren is tempted to taste the sweet scent of Nirwana blood. He licked the blood attached to a small knife and drops of blood stuck to his fingers, of course all done quickly without Nirvana's knowledge.
"I think pretty lady, we better stay away."
Darren took the cloth from his pants pocket and bandaged Nirwana's wound tightly. "illness?"
Darren's question was only answered with a wry smile. Darren tightened Nirvana's wounds, so that the pain was no longer felt. Both waited a while, but nothing happened. Darren and Nirvana looked at each other.
"I think you're wrong, sir. I shouldn't have followed your advice!"
Darren looked around the room, he sure didn't guess wrong. Blood was the trigger for the opening of the coffin, and it should have also appeared when Nirvana's blood was dripped.
"I'm sure of what I'm doing, lady, we'd better wait a minute."
Wait out? How long, being with you for a little longer can drive me crazy, Mr. Darren!
