An Ancient Relique's

An Ancient Relique's
Darren's Scene

Darren chuckled amusedly, he heard Nirvana's voice cursing and calling out his name. "He must be very upset with me now, sorry Nirvana but I have to take it for the past glory of the vampire clan. I just borrowed it for a little while for a little drama."

"We're leaving now, sir?" abraham's asking messed up Darren's fun.

"The elders are gathered?"

"Yes, sir, they are waiting in the main hall with the other clan leaders."

Darren smiled cunningly, he stood up from his seat and immediately headed towards the main hall. His two loyal servants Abraham and Lynch followed him. Inside the hall five vampire elders had been waiting for him. The four vampire clan leaders began to get impatient and agitated, they wanted to confirm the news if Darren had obtained the relic.

They began to argue about the authenticity of the ancient relic and who deserved it. Ancient relics are a legitimate leadership requirement that would-be vampire leaders must have. Hundreds of years ago the relic was kept and guarded by the seventh Constantine who had the true blood of the Count, but the relic was lost after Constantine was sentenced to death by Cezar Ferdinand.

The muttering buzz of the clan leaders rang out of the hall, Darren smiled sinisterly. "Ciiih, they can't even wait to snatch it from me! You old man!"

The hall door was wide open, all eyes looked towards Darren, and the murmur died down. All that was heard was the sound of Darren's footsteps and his loyal assistants. They wait.

Darren stood in the middle of the room and his eyes stared one by one the clan leaders who were far above Darren.

"Sorry to keep you waiting."

"Darren, is it true that they say you have the relic?" one of the elders asked Darren without wasting any time.

Darren smiled, he gave Abraham the code to place the wooden crate on a small table in front of the elders. Abraham put it down slowly and opened the lid.

The eyes of the elders as well as the clan leader were wide-eyed they whispered back. The elders looked at each other in disbelief. One of the elders standing in the right corner asked Darren.

"Where did you get it? I know this thing disappeared along with Constantine's seventh death."

Darren grinned, he walked slowly around the clan leaders. "Of course my great-grandfather gave it to me."

Darren stopped and said again loudly. "I am Darren Constantin, descendant of the fourteenth Count Dracula, son of Edward Constantin, the legitimate grandson of the seventh Constantine, presenting you with this ancient relic. With this relic I declare myself as your leader!"

The representatives and clan leaders muttered disapprovingly. They reject Darren's claim to be the leader of the latest vampire clan. Interruptions and boisterous sounds filled the room. They also feel entitled to own the relic and become leaders.

Darren chuckled amusedly at the mannerisms of the clan leaders. He managed to create chaos, one of the plans he put together for them to kill each other and hate each other. So that he could easily destroy the other vampire clans and make the Constantin family back victorious.

"Shut up!" a hoarse and heavy voice sounded from the direction of the door.

A man wearing a black robe embroidered with gold entered the room. Plontos head, eyes decorated with black eyeliner, pale and expressionless face showing arrogance.

"Don't see Darren?"

The man stood before Darren haughtily, he stared intently at Darren for a moment then glanced at the relic.

"Yes, you're right. Long time no see of elder Cesar!"

Darren recalled the last moment of his meeting with Cesar Ferdinand, an ominous event that left him and his family out of the way and missing. The hatred that erupted in Cesar Ferdinand made him willing to wait for hundreds of years for revenge.

The discovery of this ancient relic was part of his revenge mission on Cesar.

"How could it be on you?"

"Destiny?" Cesar laughed out loud, the others fell silent. Cesar's laughter sounded so scary to them but, not to Darren.

"It's ridiculous? Destiny said? So you feel you're destined as a leader just because you found the relic?"

"Sure, tell the great elder Cesar where my fault lies!" Darren looked at Cesar sharply, their faces only a short distance away. Darren challenged Cesar.

Cesar was visibly annoyed by Darren's disrespect. He smiled sinisterly and turned his eyes to the other clan leaders.

"Anyone who can hold and take this relic will be the new leader!"

Darren stared in disbelief at Cesar, he chuckled amusedly. "Bastard old man!"

Cesar who heard Darren's swearing sneered at him, "You want to be the leader take that thing from them!"

Cesar's edict made the clan leaders scramble to reach the relic, they attacked each other and killed no matter friends and opponents. Darren stepped aside and again chuckled amusedly at the chaos that was happening.

"Stupid! You think you can touch that thing? Let's see who's left."

Other than Darren, no one knows if the relic has chosen a new owner. That ancient relic would never fall into the hands of vampires. It will go back to the chosen owner. Abraham found an ancient record written by Constantin.

The relic will never be owned by the vampire nation again. Constantin and some of the previous elders who were also executed by Cesar have changed their functions and will only be touched by selected humans who are not vampires. The unique man who has been waiting for centuries years awaited.

Many times the members of the fighting clan approached, many times they were knocked back by the mighty power of the ancient relics. Until at some point, yellowish green light shimmered so bright and dazzling eyes. All closed their eyes and moved away, within a split second the light disappeared rapidly.

"What's that?!" Cesar was flabbergasted, he slowly approached followed by the other elders.

Darren smiled cynically, Abraham approached and whispered. Darren nodded.

"All right, everyone, I have to go. Too bad when it was a very interesting spectacle." Darren immediately left the main hall.

"Darren Constantine! Stop, you must take responsibility for this mess!" Cesar was furious, but Darren did not heed him he continued walking without looking.

"Abraham, you're sure it's back in Nirvana's hands." He asked after feeling safe.

"Yes, sir, I'll make sure it goes back to its owner."

"Supervise their movement, I'm sure Cesar will soon find out who Nirvana is."

"Good, master!"

The annoyed cry of Cesar came back to the entire old castle, Darren turned his head and smiled in satisfaction. The plan annoyed Cesar and the other elders successfully, but new problems arose. The safety of Nirvana is threatened. Darren must protect the archaeologist and the ancient relic from falling into the hands of other vampire clans.

Meanwhile in the hotel room, Nirwana who was upset because of her messy presentation was startled by the luminous luminescence from inside the wooden box. He who was about to fall asleep approached slowly and opened it. His eyes were perfectly rounded as the relic returned intact.

"I must be dreaming!" He touched the antique and made sure everything was right. "This thing's back!"

Nirwana grabs her cell phone, and contacts Gery. "Gery, we're back in Zurich!"
