Nirvana's Disquiet

The vampire clan is welcoming a new era after the Vasile family is eliminated. Time seemed to turn back to the time where Edward Constantin led. The vampire clan experienced a golden age, a deal was made between vampires and humans. 

Although it is not written in the history of peace between the two races it did occur and was awake for almost one hundred and twenty-five years. Cezar's greed for a deal was torn apart and re-ignited the feud for centuries afterwards.

Now Edward Constantin's only son, Darren Constantin, has succeeded in serving as the leader of the vampires. No one thinks of him as a disgusting creature, a disgrace of vampires. Darren made some new rules relating to minorities like himself.

Darren's appointment as the leader of the vampires comes one month after a huge super blood moon. Nirvana who was supposed to take on the role of an elder, gave up completely to the surviving old elders. He also raised four new elders to complete the existing position. 

Nirvana himself chose to be the guardian of the relic rather than being one of the council elders. He wants to be with Darren and does not want their domestic life to be disrupted. Darren also respected Nirvana's decision to remain human. He doesn't mind that at all. 

But there is one thing that holds the heart of Nirvana which until now has not been resolved properly. Blessings from his father and mother. He and Darren have been married for three months but both Nirvana's parents are giving their blessing.

Abraham had indeed sent an envoy to Indonesia to inform Nirvana's marriage, but it was not an easy matter. As parents, Sari and Doni are made quite surprised by her daughter's decision. Especially when they find out who Darren really is. 

Nirvana stared deep into the horizon, she missed her homeland, she also missed her parents. Darren's not next to him tonight, a meeting between the vampire families requires Darren to attend. 

"Mrs, should I take my dinner to my room?" abraham's voice shocked him.

"Oh, yeah dinner, I almost missed it." Nirvana turned her back and then, "Abraham, how is my mother? Is there still no information on when they came here?"

Abraham smiled, he understood the fall of Nirvana. "Mrs don't worry, everything's under control."

"you mean? Did you accept Darren as your son-in-law?"

"Hmm, you could say so. No parent wants to see their child sad, right? So is the mother of the mistress." Abraham seemed to take a slight breath and lowered his lip line, before continuing his sentence.

"Although I must admit it is not easy to conquer the great lord."

Nirvana was a little surprised, "You mean dad?"

"Yes, that's it. The great lord insisted on canceling the marriage, and with great regret Madam .. I think the madam should return to Indonesia to explain everything directly."

Nirvana sighed heavily, realizing it was not that easy for her parents to accept Nirvana's decision. Darren comes from a different race. Which parent is not worried about seeing his daughter with a blood-sucking creature.

"What about Darren, Abraham? Does he know everything?"

Abraham smiled, "Yes madam, Mr. Darren already knows it and you have a plan."

Nirwana frowned, but he had not yet asked Darren to come.

"What about the meeting?"

"Hhh, as usual." Darren turned to Abraham and asked, "Is everything ready for tomorrow?"

"Of course, sir, everything is well prepared." Abraham retreated, "Evening soon comes madam, and you'd better get some quick sleep tonight."

"Why should I sleep fast, I'm bored and want to spend the night until morning." Nirvana said softly and lazily.

Darren and Abraham looked at each other with smiles unknown to Nirvana who was looking back towards the ocean.

"Looks like you should seduce him a little, sir. Madam's heart was a little agitated." Abraham's message before leaving.

Darren looked at his wife, Abraham Nirvana was indeed agitated. Very agitated, his mind far drifted on both of his parents.

"Thinking of something?" 

Darren hugged Nirvana from behind and leaned his head on Nirvana's shoulder.

"See, Darren. I miss home, I miss my job, and I miss Nicole and Gery." 

"You can meet Gery and Nicole at any time, you're still a researcher at the museum, and then what else?"

Darren flipped Nirwana's body to face him. The beautiful face of Nirvana looks so sad.

"You want to go home? Meet mom's dad?"

"I miss my mom, can we go home to Darren?"

Darren did not flinch, he tidied Nirvana's hair in the wind. Darren closed his body to the woman he loved so much. 

"Let's go to sleep, what did you hear Abraham say? We can't be late tomorrow."

"But, I'm hungry Darren!" nirvana Protest 

"Well Mrs Darren, I'll accompany you to dinner and after that we'll sleep."

Nirwana is confused by Darren's strange demeanor but he ignores her. Dinner served is not too interesting taste Nirwana. He missed the solo strait made by his mother, he missed the taste of Indonesian cuisine that had not felt his tongue for three years.
