“You are right Ra, it turns out we are different,” said Heru.
“Ta-but how can?” I dropped that thing on my lap.
“You know Ra, this is like a dejavu to me,” Heru seems to be laughing, “I was also born from a mistake Ra.”
I looked at him fixedly, waiting for the next sentence to be delivered by Heru.
“Dad and my mother also had different beliefs Ra. But they were still married, because I was in my mother's womb. I found out about their love story long after I grew up. I don't even know what my father's face looks like. My mother has no memories of him. Mom said that when mom and dad decided to get married, the extended family of both parties refused. My father cut ties with his family, so did my mother.”
“How can you not know your father? Didn't you say your dad died a few years ago?” manya curious.
Heru pointed a smile at me, “the father I told you about was Andini Ra's real father, not my real father. But I already thought of him like my own father. He is the only father I know.”
“Then what happened to the biological father of the older brother?”
“Mother said after a few months I was born they decided to split up. He went back to his family, and so did his mother. Then the mother's parents, the late grandmother and my grandfather betrothed the mother to the child of his friend, and then born Andini.”
Heru's story made me feel sorry for him. I did not expect behind his annoying nature turns out Heru has a sad side in his life story.
“Didn't there be any intention to find brother? However, my sister is her son.”
“Entai Ra, maybe it's some kind of unwritten agreement between my father and mother. My mother also didn't tell me the details, how they met and fell in love, and eventually split up. I just told her the outline. Just so I know my origins.”
“Why did mom tell you that? Isn't it better to keep it a secret?”
“Mother said, don't let what happened to mom and dad, happen to me.”
From Heru's last sentence I can conclude that this is where we are today. We are in a position like his parents were. The difference was that Heru's mother was pregnant with Heru, while I was? Hopefully not.
“But, I must be really disappointed because I made the same mistake. You know Ra, how does it feel to love someone but not be able to have one? Maybe that's how my dad felt.”
I just silently listened to Heru's outpouring of heart. I want to say that I feel that way now. My love has married another woman. Different story, same taste. That's how we feel right now. We are both sad, for different reasons.
“Can I ask something Ra?” Heru seems to be more in control of himself.
“Ask what?”
“Who Habibie?” I gasped at Heru's question. How could Heru know about Habibie? I never even told anyone.
“Why did sister suddenly ask about him?”
“Evenings when we make love, you keep saying his name. I think he's a special person.”
Suddenly I felt my cheeks heating up, “must really tell me about last night's events with clarified like that?”
“Your cheeks are red, Ra, ashamed? Or want some more? If you want, we can repeat it again.” I glared sharply at him. I can't believe what I just heard.
“Night seems like you are very passionate Ra,” a nosy smile appears on Heru's lips, “but I am really disappointed that you even mention the name of another man while being with me.” Heru looked down his head, pretending to be sad.
“I'm going to the room. I'm sorry I've been pitya brother turned out to be so annoying.” I stood about to enter the room, but Heru swiftly grabbed my wrist.
“Hei .. wait a minute, it turns out you are so impatient well.” A faint smile returned from his lips.
“Lepasin sis, I want to sleep, do not think of anything deh,” I exasperated.
“You're not bored all day in the room? Or do you want to remember what we did last night?” goda.
“Then let's do it again, this time I make sure you remember everything. I'd love to hear your sigh again Ra, it's so sexy.”
I threw Heru's hand violently. This time Heru was really outrageous. How could he tell such a thing without the slightest burden? I went into the room and immediately threw myself on the bed.
Heru caught up with me, and flicked the curtain that was the barrier between the room and the living room. He looked at me still with his smile.
“You've prepared in Ra?” position I threw him with a pillow, right in his face. And he laughed out loud.
Slowly the sound of laughter moved away. Then I heard Heru open the door of the house, and shut it again. Is he gone? A fear haunts me. Moreover, I no longer hear his voice. Did he really leave me?
Sirna already pissed me off at him. I got up and ran out of the room. I meant to chase him, hoping he hasn't gone far. Being with that annoying guy is so much better than being alone in this foreign place, I thought.
But I was really surprised, as soon as I opened the curtain it turned out Heru was standing there. He laughed at everything I did. She laughed so hard that I saw her face blushing.
“It turns out you are really afraid of losing me well Ra, ha .. ha .. ha ....” Heru seemed to be amused by what he did to me.
“A-I'm going to the toilet.” I immediately turned towards the back of the house, where the toilet was.
I can still faintly hear the sound of Heru's laughter, it's really annoying. I have repeatedly condemned my own stupidity.
Upon returning from the toilet, I saw Heru sitting on the living room sofa. In front of him were two food cribs. Heru immediately told me to sit next to him as soon as I found him there.
“Eat first Ra, I brought you roasted chicken honey.” Heru handed me a food box.
“Kakak really sucks!” as I reached for the food box in front of me.
“But ngangenin right?” taunted.
“Down, kegeeran.”
“Udah ngaku aja Ra, you've fallen in love with me?”
“Can't you be kidding right now? I realize no, we're in trouble again. It concerns my future, brother's future as well. But it doesn't seem like big brother feels burdened in the least.”
Heru shook his head while opening his food package, “it will be hard if we continue to bear it Ra, let go for a moment. Let our minds fresh so that we can find a solution to every problem we face.”
I smiled at the thoughtful answer from Heru. I looked at Heru's face. Her eyes, her nose, her lips, and her entire handsome face. If it wasn't for the difference in belief, I would have allowed my heart to fall in love with him.
“Do not look at me like that, later you fall in love with me,” said Heru without taking his eyes off the food in front of him.
I immediately turned my eyes away from her. Feeling ashamed at being caught off guard enjoying his handsome face. The next minute the atmosphere was silent, until we finished our meals.
