AMEERA'S LOVE STORY

AMEERA'S LOVE STORY
PART 20'S

“Alright, you seem to have begun to understand the problem, I think this is purely a misunderstanding,” mr. RT turned his attention to Umar, “father understands you are young, your emotions are explosive, you are, you misunderstand your boyfriend, and are jealous blind. But you expressed it wrong and in the end you hurt him. You should ask for an explanation first, not just play smash.”

Mr. RT then turned his eyes to Heru, “you do intend well to keep Ameera. But you're wrong, Ameera here isn't alone, you see? There was a friend who loved him like a brother. In addition there is a host father and his wife who will be a surrogate parent for Ameera.” Then the RT sir turned his eyes on the hostess, “not so sir?” all I asked was a nod of the head.

“And you Ameera,” pak RT is now turning his eyes to me, “bapak is sorry for what you are going through. Sorry you have to say this, though, but all this will not happen if from the beginning you are more assertive to prefer to go home than stay ‘ elsewhere’” pack RT emphasizes the word elsewhere while turning to Heru.

“Sorry ...” say I'm clean.

“Alright, I think now everything is clear well. I hope this problem is enough to get here. In the future there will no longer be the same problem,” said mr. RT.

“Alright sir then I'm sorry to go home first.” Mr. RT said goodbye to the owner of the boarding house. After shaking hands, RT left us.

I got up intending to go back to my room, but the hostess stopped my steps. “Ameera wait!” yells.

I stopped my movement and turned to him, “what's the matter sir?” my many.

The owner of the boarding house looks doubtful, “sorry I have to say this, I hope you do not misunderstand. I know you're a good girl, you never make trouble during my stay. But it looks like I can no longer rent a boarding room to you.”

I was shocked to hear it, “but why sir? Isn't the problem clear? This is just a misunderstanding sir.”

“I know, and I also believe in you. But how else, too many people witnessed the incident. They must have been gossiping everywhere. The news quickly spread in the factory environment. And often the news that is spread is exaggerated. I fear the news will affect the good name of my hostel. Sorry if I sound selfish.” The owner's explanation is realistic. I can't deny it for that.

“But pak—“ Heru seemed to be defending me, but I swiftly held his hand and shook my head at him.

“Good sir I understand,” I said resigned.

“Thanks Ameera. Wait a minute.” The owner reached into his pants pocket and took his wallet inside. He took out a few hundred thousand pieces of money in it and handed it to me.

“This cost money this month I return, and a little extra from me to stock you looking for a new boarding,” he said.

I took some of the ones that were offered to me, “thank you sir, I just took the boarding money. For additional money sorry I can not accept, it is not my right.”

The hostess seemed to be able to accept my decision. He put the rest of his money back into his wallet, “ alright then.”

I say goodbye to the hostess to return to my room, followed by Nita, Heru, and Umar. Arriving at the boarding house I immediately entered my room with Nita. Ignoring the several pairs of eyes that looked at me with disdain. I packed some clothes and things that were important in my backpack. Not to forget I also changed my clothes to be more neat.

Without giving an answer, Nita rushed towards me and hugged me tightly. He started sobbing.

“Where are you going Ra?” her tanyanya interrupted her crying.

I was confused as to what to answer. I don't really know what steps to take next. This is all outside my life plan.

I say goodbye to Nita after we let go of each other's hugs. I went out and was surprised that Umar was still here.

As soon as I saw him, Umar got up from his seat and approached me, “Let me take you ma'am,” the door.

Hearing Umar call me ‘bu’ I became emotional. Truly a shameless man. After hurting me, insulting me as a pela*ur and a filthy woman, she could have been so thick her face still calling me that.

I looked at his face with hatred. I want to feel like I'm scolding her, slapping her dirty mouth, and maybe landing a few punches on her body, but all that I'm saying. I don't want to spend the rest of the energy I have to make a fuss here again.

I put my foot out of this boarding house, but my step stopped when a pair of hands grabbed my legs. I turned towards the owner of this hand, and rightly my guess, Umar.

“Sorry I ma'am .. sorry I ... don't stay with me .. Give me one more chance .... “ Umar sobbed like a baby. It is ridiculous to see him like that after a while ago he insulted me so arrogantly.

I ignored Umar's whining. I just found out that this guy I thought was good turned out to have a double personality. At certain times he can whine like a baby he wants to buy a toy for, but at other times he can be very dangerous like an animal that will pounce on its prey.

I turned to Heru who had been staring at Umar with disgust, “kak, can I ask for help anterin I nyari kostan?” my many.

Heru just nodded while smiling. He crouched down a bit to get Umar's hand off my leg.

“As a man, I am really ashamed to see you like this,” Heru told Umar, “you should think before you act. Even after you hurt Ameera physically and literally, by not knowing her you still hope that Ameera will be devastated by this stupid attitude of yours. Apologize properly. The thing you are doing right now will only make Ameera disgusted towards you. As a man, I only told you one thing. Don't do anything stupid like this again in the future.”

I grabbed Heru's hand. And we rode on Heru's motorcycle. I go back one more time. I saw that Umar was still in the same position, crouching on both knees as he continued to lower his gaze to the floor. Then my eyes shifted to Nita. Sadness seemed to be in his care.

Motorpun. I looked at my boarding building once again. A place I lived in for about two years. A simple building that bears a silent witness to the journey of my life. Now I have to leave him, by force.
