After the Word Talak
CHAPTER 40. Robby's Arrival

"Sister plans to marry Aurel seriously?" tanya Dikta sat next to Sean who was busy changing the tv channel in front of him.

"Bismilah, because this has been two months, since Aurel became a convert so that his brother wants to be serious with him," replied Sean pulled Dikta's head to lean on his arm.

"If you want to be serious, Mama supports one hundred percent," Mama Reni walked with a plate of brownies for them to eat together.

Since the seven-monthly event, Sean chose to take Mama Reni with him, because he did not want Mama Reni to live alone.

Plus now Dikta is entering the last month of her third trimester of pregnancy where Sean can not continue to monitor her condition.

While they were all busy, the sound of knocking on the door was heard with greetings that made Mama Reni stand up and want to open the door.

"Mama sit down, let Dikta open the door," Dikta stood up and walked slowly because his stomach was enlarged.

Dikta walked towards the door that made Sean and Mama Reni throw one another gaze, they both then followed Dikta opening the door.

Dikta grabbed the door hinge and pulled it. "Waalaikumsalam, who is it?"

The deg!

Instantly Dikta felt shocked and Mama Reni and Sean found Robby in front of them with a sad look and still hold a variety of regrets.

"Nearly eight months we haven't met, how are you?" ask Robby.

Dikta did not answer, Robby then immediately kissed Mama Reni's hand and let go of the longing with her mother. "Can I talk to Dikta?"

Sean looked at Dikta to inform Robby's request, and Dikta nodded.

Sean and Mama Reni walk into the house leaving Dikta there with Robby.

Robby stared deeply at Dikta after the departure of Sean and Mama Reni, making Dikta throw away her face. "You know, for eight months, I've been trying to be a good man and not repeat the bad in my past."

"Alhamdulillah dong, I am glad to hear it," Dikta walked to the chair on the terrace and sat there.

Dikta smiled wryly, Robby's tone of speech was really dramatic full of emphasis. "Can't."

The short, dense and clear answer pitched rejection which means blunt makes Robby's shoulder sag instantly. "Why? Can you give me a second chance?"

"I'm most anti-give a second chance because if you say God alone can give his people a chance whereas I don't, sorry I'm not God, I'm just a human being,"

Robby was intrigued, Dikta's rejection was really accompanied by a clear explanation that makes Robby really elevated the expedition and dispelled reality.

"Giving someone a second chance is like giving a bullet to that person's gun when that person fails to shoot us on the first try" Dikta smiled at Robby.

"I think cheating once in a lifetime is okay for a human being," Robby walked up to Dikta who this time turned his back on him.

"There is always a choice bang, that is the point of God giving us the mind, if only lust is an animal" Dikta said.

The deg!

Robby snorted to get a hard slap from Dikta in the form of piercing sentences.

"Alright, I think we are no longer a match, if my Ar-Rahman can no longer bind you until my Yasin separates us, let my Ar-Araf release you sincerely, he said, may you be happy with your best choice" Robby tried hard in all of the rejections.

Dikta smiled, but the smile immediately faded as she felt her stomach-churning heartburn which made her immediately press both of her hands holding onto her stomach due to the intense feeling of wanting to poop.
