CHAPTER 32. What Is Nothing

"This is Brother" Aurel handed Dikta's suitcase to Sean.

Sean who had been waiting outside by folding his hands immediately took the suitcase from Aurel's hands.

"Oh yeah, you have time in the afternoon?" sean asked Aurel.

Aurel raised her eyebrows. "For what?"

"I plan to invite Dikta and Mama Reni to open up together outside, if you want to come, too" Sean replied to Aurel.

"But I'm not fasting, brother," Aurel chuckled and scratched his non-itchy nape.

"Not why, let's just say a meal together, I don't accept rejection from you, I'll pick you up later," Sean answered opening the trunk of the car and stuffing Dikta's suitcase in there.

"But brother,"

Sean did not touch Aurel, he immediately got into his car and waved to Aurel, Aurel waved back his hand staring at Sean's car which was walking slowly away from Aurel's house.

God, why would a grown man like him ever shake my heart, but why should he? Why should we be seamin but not seiman, Aurel's inner doubt.

Sean drove his car to the residence of Mama Reni to pick up Dikta, he glanced at the watch in his hand was still two in the afternoon, but the cloudy sky was very supportive of the chaotic mood in the cemetery.

"After a long time alone, I felt I found the moorings of my heart, but why should she?" sean was focused on driving his car. "Why should we both say amen but different beliefs?".

Given this Sean fidgets himself, as the saying goes, love can come at any time and it looks like Sean feels a sudden love in his life.

"We who pray for each other but stand upright under different places of worship, why should this be?" Sean had his own monologue.

The love story of different beliefs is indeed very draining of the mind, Sean was worried about himself, but he prefers to dismiss everything and not think about this now.

Sean then returned to focus on driving his car to Mama Reni's residence, until he saw Robby who was putting a suitcase into his car in front of Mama Reni's house.

"Where'd you go Robby?" ask Sean in the heart.

Not yet had Sean wanted to see Robby, Robby had even left the area to raise questions that were present in Sean's mind.

Robby walked around dragging his suitcase and carried his bag away from there, leaving behind many memories of the sincerity he had so much to spare.

Dikta and Mama Reni let Robby go, maybe the best way for Robby to get better.

"Yes Mas, Waalaikumsalam," replied Dikta who made Adam nod.

Adam walks out of Mama Reni's house into the yard to get into his car, but before Adam gets in, the sound of the car horn makes Adam look and find Sean's car there.

"Eh brother-in-law" Adam said as Sean got out of the car.

"I'm not your brother-in-law, how are you Adam, you're the most timid first-class brother, why are you changing so much now?" sean answered who knew Adam before.

"Perhaps, because I intend to keep your sister's face down" replied Adam sitting on the front hood of his car.

"So you intend to be my sister-in-law?" sean looked at Adam.

"That's how, hahahaha, but the Iddah period of Dikta has not passed and also he is still arranging his heart, I doubt I can reach it," replied Adam turned sad.

"You just need to be sure Adam, oh yes you know that Dikta is pregnant now, even if Dikta accepts you later, are you okay with that child?" ask Sean back.

Adam let out a long sigh then stood up and patted Sean on the shoulder. "When I intend to marry him, it means I am ready to accept him as he is, even I am ready to accept his son as my son as well. Not real dad at least I could be a good dad."

"Because the fact is, loving someone is when we realize we love him for what he is, not what he is," explained Adam again.

Hearing Adam's explanation made Sean smile proudly, if Adam was the soul mate of Dikta, he would not think twice about marrying his sister to Adam.

"Well sister-in-law, uh I'm planning on opening together, you want to join?"

"I'm reluctant to reject you, but the state's duty forces me to refuse, just leave my heart alone" Adam joked. "Have I got a job, see you back, Brother-in-law."

"Okay, you look a little busy, next time you should come along,"

Adam raises his thumb and gets into his car and runs his car away from Mama Reni's residence area, while Adam immediately enters Mama Reni's house to pick up Dikta.
