Actually I Why?

Actually I Why?
WOMEN AT THE END OF MAGRIB Part 1

****

I could hear the sound of my own heartbeat when the mysterious woman reappeared just like a few days ago. He was silent, standing in the middle of my yard with a black loin covering his face.

The sky is dark, and in this house there is only me and my seven-year-old sister Noa— while Papa, apparently has not returned from our store which is in the market.

“Mbak, she's still outside?” noa asked with a trembling voice restraining fear.

I gulped, while covering her mouth gently.

“Do not be noisy, Noa. He will be leaving soon.” My whisper.

We are both in my room right now. From here the figure of the woman in the black dress was more clearly visible, because the position of my room was in front.

“I want to pee, Ms. Yas,” og Noa who makes me tick.

I glanced at the bathroom that was close to my door, then turned my eyes to the mysterious figure in the courtyard there. The figure was still unmoved, but now began to faint because the porch lights that had not been lit outside were already dark.

“Shortly, Ma'am Ayas check the room door first.” My mutter who was greeted with a reluctant look by my sister.

He held my arm, but I didn't want to take the risk of forgetting to lock the door or not. At first, Noa and I were watching a movie in the room, and like two days ago there was a foul smell and repeated knocking on the door of the house.

At first, it all started two days ago. That day was also the first time I saw that mysterious figure standing in the middle of the courtyard while carrying a black umbrella. I thought it was a hallucination, but in fact Noa also saw it clearly.

As I was about to get out and approach her, the alert alarm in my head sounded. Finally Noa and I ignored him, until Papa came home. When telling that, Papa's response was unexpected. He said that we might be hallucinating, because we often watch scary movies.

Since then, Noa and I have decided not to say anything to Papa. The man's attitude has changed since Mama's death three months ago.

I took a breath, then walked in a duck-street style towards the door of the room. After making sure the door was locked tightly, I gestured for Noa, closing the window curtains. He nodded, and pulled the curtain so that the window cover opened and covered my bedroom window.

“Quick, fast!” I call Noa.

My sister rolled on the floor, as I thought, knocking on the door and my window repeatedly.

“Hiiy,” Noa started to get scared, she clapped my body with a deathly pale face.

“Mbak Yas, it must be him,” Noa said as she tried to close her eyes.

The beats on the doors and windows were getting lively, I myself tried to hold the door even though it had locked it from the inside. My chest rumbled as it smelled a truly foul scent.

Nah!

Nah!

Nah!

My window glass as if pelted with gravel, while now the doorknob began to move up and down, as if someone was trying to open it from the outside.

“Mbak Ayaaas,” Ooze Noa again.

I asked him to shut up, curiosity made me do something I never should have done. I quickly ridden in front of the room door, positioning both my elbows and my head against the floor and trying to see from under the crack of the door. There's nothing. There was only darkness, for I had not yet had time to turn on the lights other than in my room.

It felt like a pull on the end of the shirt I was using. I shook Noa's hand.

Although he could not see anything, the knocking and movement of the doorknob still continued to occur.

“Mbak Ayas ..”

I stopped peeking because I felt that what I was doing was a waste. Irritatedly, I held back the doorknob that was still moving.

“Shortly, Noa! I don't want to be scared just like this. We stay here for life, and now after Mama no ad akita be so timid like this.” Obviously without looking at him.

The door of my room stopped moving. I feel like I am starting to control the situation. Again, I tried to peek out from under the door. However, when my right cheek just stuck to the floor, I was surprised by the appearance of a face that also seemed to be peering at me from outside. Her eyes were red, and I swore I could see the smile on her face even though my gaze was limited.

“Hosssh! Hossh! Hossh!”

I hit my chest that felt tight, while tears melted on my cheek.

“I—that was what?” ask me to myself.

Noa was getting attached to me, I felt her body start to shake violently. I turned my head and found her curled up while burying her face in her hands.

It was okay, at least Noa did not see that monstrous figure. My inner.

The knock on the room door started to sound, the movement of the doorknob started to craze. I hugged Noa, and my sister looked up.

“Mbak, come call Papa.” he whispered with tears streaking across his face.

I gulped, looking at the cell phone I left on the bed. The distance is not too far, but I feel like taka man left the door of this room. The shadow of the face with red eyes came back.

“You were why pull his shirt Mbak?” this time I asked him.

Noa shakes. His eyes occasionally moved as if pointing towards the window.

“We hide under the mattress only, yes, Ma'am?” whispered without answering my question.

This time it was me who shook my head, “No, Ma'am feeling safe close to the door of the room. We're just here.” Reject me.

Noa's shoulders were up and down, he once again coded towards the room window.

“Someone peeked at us, Ma'am,” he said as I hugged his little body.

Linked eyebrows, “Hah?”

Something wet and warm ran through my feet, I lowered my head and found the clear liquid coming from my sister's body. Noa just wet the bed!

I wanted to laugh, but things were not possible. I'll open my mouth when Noa pulls my head. He put his lips to my ear and began to whisper.

“Don't look at the window vents, Ms Ayas, he has been there since,” whispers barely audible.

I gulped, my nape crumbled at the frightened voice of my sister. Despite trying to ignore it, my head kept on moving towards the window of the room.

And sure enough, from the ventilation hole in the room that was right above the window I saw him grinning at me and my brother. That face, with two glowing red eyeballs, it was now tilting its head, it seemed to be saying something.

From the movement of his lips, I seemed to be able to tell what he had just said.

“K-E-T-E-M-U!”
