Chapter 5's

Through a different large window behind the house will look a park that has an artificial lake. The road to the lake can be accessed through the door behind the house, then walk down the path that has been provided, we will be spoiled with views of green grass and blue sky. This is one of the icons of the environment we live in, almost all residents spend their free time around the lake. Many of them exercise in the morning, picnic during the day, and enjoy the sunset in the afternoon.

After cleaning up that afternoon, Joa went back to lying in bed checking her cell phone in case Luke returned the message.

"Okay" luke's reply briefly. Actually, Luke's attitude has changed a little since the last three months, every time Joa asked if he was in trouble, Luke always said that he was fine. Although Joa is quite worried, but by holding a promise at the beginning of their relationship, Joa tries not to think about it and chooses to believe in Luke's words. They are committed by trusting each other, consciously having responsibility for the work. Luke is a year older than Joa. That's why Joa relied so heavily on Luke when they started dating, the Luke that Joa relied on the most.

The wall clock struck at three in the afternoon, and I hurried out of the room. Kevin was waiting for me in the lounge room and smiled when he saw me walking up to him.

"We're going to be angry now?" tannya

"In the meantime, let's grab some drinks and snacks to enjoy in the lake" I said. I started to open the fridge and put some snacks in my picnic bag. "Come on" I said

"You're always at home?" kevin asked as he took the picnic bag out of my hand, I was quite surprised that the action had to stop my lap. It dawned on Kevin to stop because of me, I walked back. "Yes, my job doesn't force me to be in the office. Unlike Alan who had to go to work, I was only occasionally in the office for recordings or meetings in preparation for the release of songs" I replied.

Kevin continued to be relaxed walking beside me, "Ahh, last night you said you've been watching basketball games in Korea a few times"

"Really, uhm.. About three years ago, my friend asked me to go see it in person" I explained

"You've known me since?" Kevin was curious.

I laughed "No, I didn't know you at the time. Alan told me last year, when he found out I used to go watch in Korea" I explained

"How do you feel?" ask Kevin again

"Impression? About the... Ahh about the dirimum?" Kevin nodded immediately

"Uhm.. Can I be honest? You look arrogant in the game, you're also arrogant when you start printing numbers" my face changed when explaining my impression of Kevin.

"They said it was my charm" he replied briefly

"Huh? You serious?" ask me while laughing.

Alan's story about Kevin is inversely proportional to what I saw in the game. But now I can vouch for Alan who said Alan was a fact. Kevin is not very handsome, but he has a charming charm, his smile feels warm.

We decided to sit in the chair that provided right in front of the lake.

"Actually, Alan told me the reason I was on my own vacation because you just broke up with your boyfriend" I said the thing I knew carefully hoping I didn't hurt Kevin's feelings.

"Alan also asked me to comfort you. But I'm not a good person in words" I said.

"True, I feel like I just need some time to think. I had a long relationship with my ex-boyfriend. He was also the one who supported my work from the beginning, so I couldn't believe it when he left me" Kevin explained

"You've looked a lot better than last night. You smile a lot today" I said

"really?"

"Yapp.. You'll get through it, you'll find people who will accept you for who you are, believe me" hoping my words can cheer Kevin up.

It was a long afternoon, probably because it was summer. We decided to go back before it got dark, Alan said he was on his way home and had already bought dinner for us.

"The funds are incredible" Kevin said

I smiled at Kevin's comment.

"I'm not sure about this, at first I thought you were a cold person, but I think I was wrong" Kevin continued

"You're not wrong, I'm quite covered with people I just met. I only have a few friends, some of them are people I've known for a long time. And can only show my side to them" I explained

"Am I already a part of them?" ask Kevin.

I looked at Kevin in disappointment and said "Just this afternoon you said, I'm like a friend you haven't seen for a long time, now you're asking me if I'm your friend? Wow I'm quite disappointed"

Kevin held his head and laughed "Right as well, you're my friend. I'm sorry, friend" he asked

The lights are on, so Alan is home.

"You've arrived, let's eat" Alan said.

Without waiting for us to enjoy our dinner together like a family, this atmosphere that I had not enjoyed for a long time, I became a little moved.

"Kevin, let's go to the club after dinner" Alan asked. Alan is a lover of the night world

"Club? You're not working tomorrow?" ask Kevin. Alan he's crazy enough, in a week he'll go to the club five times. He went to work in the morning and partied at night, the next day he would go to work at the same hour without any problems.

"Of course I'll work. Come on, since you've arrived in NY, you should enjoy the nightworld at least once" Alan explained

I just smiled, Kevin as if he couldn't resist his crazy cousin's idea.

Alan quickly finished his dinner, and prepared to party. Wearing shiny clothes, I hope he doesn't bring kevin to a gay club.

"Leave it, I'll take care of it. You need to get ready now, before Alan nags" I said as I watched Kevin start washing dishes.

"You're not coming?" ask Kevin

I shook my head signaling I wouldn't join their activities that night.

"I don't like being in a crowd" I explained

"You're supposed to tell me, what am I supposed to do now?"

Kevin looks adorable when cornered into a situation he doesn't want

"Go have fun" I replied
