A Tears's

A Tears's
Chapter 2's

For five years in New York, I spent more time alone. Of course I have some friends from my major. To be honest I'm not the type of person who likes to meet new people, I think rather than continuing to meet new people will only add to the problem, we have to get to know each other and understand each other. It took us a long time to reach that stage.

It is better to have a long relationship with people we have known for a long time.

I occasionally go to Asian student gatherings, because of my nature I can not be too ignorant with the people there. I know almost every one of them, we often just talk or go out to eat together. But I refuse to go through further relationships like a friend.

There were times when I also tried to open up, some of them started to pity my background, a month later when I attended the event, almost half of them found out that I was an orphan. This is the biggest reason I don't spend my time making friends with new people, they will approach you, ask about your background, when they feel it's an interesting story, they will tell their other acquaintances.

Unlike the Asians, I prefer to be friends with people who come from America or Europe. They are not interested in your background. When you think and understand they will not demand more. Me and some of my Amrik-European friends, they spend more time to go on tours, in the summer they will invite me to go to other countries in America, he said, sometimes they will also invite me to take part time at the beach in the summer, want in the ski area in the winter.

After I graduated and worked, I became more anti-social, I occasionally found my friends and was more comfortable going anywhere by myself. This is the reason why Alan always invites me just to eat or meet some of his acquaintances.

“Joa, are you getting ready?” ask Alan.

“Of course, even though I am a home child, I am never late for things like this” I said with hubris.

“Joa, I have something to tell you before we inhabit Kevin” Alan's face immediately seriously make my hair stand up.

“What, don't scare me” I replied while looking at Alan seriously

In a serious tone Alan said “Kevin, he just broke up from his girlfriend”

As if having been deceived by Alan's words, I looked at him with a slight annoyed face

“Seriously, then what does it have to do with me”

“I just hope you can cheer him up” Alan replied casually

“You're really crazy Alan. Why should I comfort her, how should I comfort her?”

“I've been thinking long enough for this. People who just broke up must immediately meet new people to forget their ex-boyfriend”

“You mean the new guy was me? You've really gone crazy Alan Kim. You may forget I already have a boyfriend” I replied in a voice trying to hold back my emotions.

Alan instantly shut his mouth and said “Upps.. You still in touch with that guy? I thought you guys broke up”

There's nothing I can say, I'm actually dating a guy, Luke.

Two years ago in the summer, we went on holiday to Argentina, he was a medical student, before starting his internship, the two decided to take a vacation with us.

Luke was from London when he was 15 years old and had to move to the United States because of his father's work. From the beginning of our meeting, I was quite interested in Luke, a young man with green and white eyes. I think he's very handsome, another thing I know is that Luke is very reliable, he's the one who always accompanies me on our holidays. When we finished our vacation, I couldn't stop thinking about Luke, I realized that I already loved Luke.

Three months after our return from Argentina, Luke invited me to meet. We promised we'd meet at Battery Park, on the south end of Manhattan. While waiting for the sunset, Luke expresses his feelings. Just like me, he's been interested in me since Argentina. It's been a year and ten months since we were dating, when Luke was finishing his internship, we had to have a long distance relationship since we dated.

“You are really looking for dead Alan” I replied ketus

“Intinya, we have to help Kevin forget his ex-girlfriend Joa”

While putting on a lazy face I said “Please he is not a little boy”

“Kevin has been in a relationship with his ex since High School, do you know why they broke up? Because Kevin is no richer than his current girlfriend” explained Alan

“You're serious, aren't Kevin an Athlete? He entered the national team at least he sufficed, right?” As far as I know, Kevin Alan's cousin there is a young man who can be said to be successful, he was even selected as a national team player at a young age.

We arrived at a friend midtown, a place that was quite crowded with tourists from various countries. Watching some of the people walking there. Alan and I entered a Korean-French restaurant, the combination of the two countries makes the interior of the restaurant very beautiful. Kevin he was quite easy to find, a young Korean who was sitting in the corner of a restaurant with his big suitcase. He immediately stood up, "so tall" honestly I've seen Kevin in club games several times when I was in Korea, but I didn't expect him to be very tall when met directly.

"Alan!!" greet kevin while waving his hand.

Kevin was quite handsome, he had a charming smile, also a wise-looking manners. Maybe because he's an athlete.

"Young!! You should have waited in the airport, I'd have picked you up" Alan said, hugging his proud cousin. Ever since Alan moved into my house, the thing he talked about the most was Kevin, a young athlete who was on the basketball team. From that moment on I seemed to know Kevin even though this was our first meeting.

"Ahh Hyung, introduce Joa, I work for him, we also live together" explained Alan

"Hallo, Joa" I said

"Haii, I'm kevin happy to see you" Kevin replied as he sat in his chair.

"Have you ordered food? Alan asked while looking around

"I've ordered a few menus, you want to add another one?" ask Kevin

"We'll wait for the food to come and decide whether to add up or not" Alan said

I just kept quiet because I didn't know where to start until Kevin realized and said "Alan, he talks about you quite often"

"Ahh..really? I hope he gives me a good thing" I said as I looked at Alan who was arranging a meal on the table.

Noticing my gaze, Alan looked at me while smiling "Of course I told him a good ha. Oh Kevin, Joa also likes basketball, he also quite often watch the game while in Korea"

"really? Tell me when you get back to Korea, I'll give you a VIP ticket, you can enjoy the game from a strategic seat" Kevin explained

"Thankyou, I appreciate it. I'm really going to call you" I replied with a smile

"Joa, tell us who your favorite player is" Alan told me, Kevin stopped to finish his meal and waited for my answer

"Favorite player? Of course Jeff, back number two" I replied directly while forming the V symbol with my finger

"Jeff, he's a great player. We're at the same club" Kevin said, clearly disappointed by my answer. But what he expected, I was just being honest.

Alan, who was sitting next to me, also gave a disappointed expression, "we agreed to comfort him" he explained with his eyes.

"Ahh, how long are you going to be in New York?" much

"about five days" he answered. I glanced at Kevin's big suitcase, "just five days why it's so much"

As if knowing what I was thinking, Kevin explained "I've visited several countries before arriving in New York"

"Ahh.." as if to understand that this is his last country before returning to Korea.

"Where are you going to stay? We can escort you after this" Alan who was surprised by my question immediately held my arm. "Joa, I totally forgot to tell you. I offered Kevin to stay with us"
