A Tears's

A Tears's
Chapters 10

The brief meeting with Mark made me very happy. I kept smiling as I remembered Mark in his military uniform and acting like an adult. "The arrogant boy I met seven years ago is big now, but why hasn't his nature changed"

My daydream had to stop when there was a phone connection coming into my phone. Number not known.

"Hello" I replied carefully.

"Joa?"

"Yeah?" ask again. His voice does not sound foreign.

"I'm Kevin" his voice shone from the other side. I didn't think that Kevin would call me, we didn't even have time to exchange phone numbers while in NY. It must be Alan, I thought.

"Hi.." I replied.

"I heard from Alan, you're in Seoul right now. So I asked for your number, hoping you wouldn't mind" he explained

"Of course not. How you doing?" much

"I'm doing fine. How's yours?"

"Yes, I'm good too" I asked

"Look, actually this afternoon there will be an inter-club match. You got time?"

"really?" my many. Matches between recognized basketball clubs in Korea are ongoing for six months. From autumn to early spring. I used to go watch with Mark, but since Mark was on duty, I didn't think to watch it myself.

"I'm actually on my way back to Seoul" I asked. I was thinking again, should I accept Kevin's offer, after all I have no other activities after this. But if it had to be alone it would feel awkward.

"The game's gonna start at three this afternoon, you wanna come watch?" obviously Kevin

"Um." I had a little doubt.

"I haven't bought a ticket yet, can I still buy one?" I decided to go watch and then go home when the game is over.

"Ah.. I'll send an e-ticket, get in by showing it to the officer. I'll be on the field at one o'clock in the afternoon, so come in if you get there" Kevin explained

"All right, you need anything?" my question, because the ticket has been prepared by Kevin, I think I can immediately repay his kindness.

"no need. Just come and support me" he said

"Okay, Thank you" I replied

I did not expect many spectators to come that afternoon, the seats were almost all filled. Actually I don't really understand which club is the best, all this time I just accompany Mark and spend my free time.

But one day Jeff caught my attention, and from then on I became a fan of Jeff.

The ticket Kevin gave me, made me sit right behind the club Kevin fronted. I carefully sat down in an empty seat, hoping that it had no owner.

Kevin looks to be warming up with focus, Jeff my favorite player is also on the field. "I can see Jeff at a very close distance" you'll understand if I come with Mark, we always choose the back seat to make it easier for us to get out first and not to attract attention if Mark is there.

Suddenly our eyes met, Kevin immediately threw his hand at me. Now his colleagues are starting to figure out who Kevin is addressing.

I raised my hand a little and lowered it and smiled. For whatever reason, I don't like this kind of attention.

The match began at exactly three in the afternoon, although it had already entered mid-autumn, a situation in the studium like summer. All the players played well, and the crowd did not stop shouting in support of their beloved club.

Kevin is very focused on the game, he always looks like a rude and haughty man when on the field. This made my first impression of him less than good, but our meeting in NY changed my view of Kevin. He is a cheerful person who is also serious at the same time.

That day, the club that Kevin fronted managed to come out as a winner.  "What an amazing match"

"What?" many surprised. I followed him without knowing where I was going.

Passing through the door in question, there was a long hallway. The hallway brings together many rooms, such as rooms for players, health rooms and others. A lot of people were there they all looked busy.

I stood awkwardly in the corner of the long hallway waiting for Kevin. It was seen that the reporters covering the match that day were waiting for the players to be interviewed. Also seen the families of the players, their children were running around, there were also beautiful girls who were in groups, I think they were the girlfriend of the player that day. It seems like everyone knows each other here.

No one noticed me, everyone was busy with their business. I massaged my hands impatiently waiting for Kevin.

"Hey.." Kevin surprised me, he was still wearing his jersey, his body was still full of sweat running towards me

"Come with me. I'll introduce you to Jeff" Kevin explained, he immediately turned around and walked over.

I pulled Kevin's arm.

"What?" my many. I'm a fan of Jeff. But I never planned to meet him. I was worried that if I knew him personally, my expectations would be different from reality.

"Huh? Not that you idolize Jeff"

"Yes, I idolized him. But I never thought about getting to know him personally" I explained.

Kevin still stares at me, "Other time. I'll prepare to meet Jeff"

Actually, my plan today was just to go find Mark, I didn't even make up. Although there was little desire to say hello to Jeff, but not today.

"Wahh, irinya. You even want to prepare yourself to meet him" Kevin said. He looked at me, then looked at my hand that was still holding his arm, I hurriedly let go. "Sorry" I said, "You saw me when I woke up, now it's better, right?" my many.

I don't belong to the pretty ones. I was more comfortable with ordinary looks because I was too lazy to make up.

I looked around, all the girls looked very pretty. I cursed myself, I should have paid more attention to my appearance. I even missed the opportunity to greet Jeff with this performance.

Kevin just smiled. Just as Kevin wanted to talk, a tall and slender girl approached us. "Kevin" he shouted. Everyone in the hallway looked straight at us. "I watched your match, you were amazing" said the girl. She was acting so cute and making a loud noise.

"I've been waiting for you, let's eat together" the girl asked.

Kevin looked at me, and so did the girl. I'll know myself, I'll go straight back "Ahh.. I have to go home now" while smiling at them. Without waiting for a response from Kevin I immediately walked away from them.

This time Kevin's got me. He pulled my arm and took me to the corner of the hall where there were not many people.

"Why go" he asked.

"Ahh, I seem to bother you. You're still in the jersey, your friend seems to be waiting for you" I explained

Kevin sighed "Don't just go" he said, "Dine with us, after that I'll drive you home"

"I brought my own car. Actually I should be home soon. I don't really know the streets and it's dark" I explained.

"I'll take you" he said

I looked at Kevin and smiled, "No need, I can walk alone. The air outside is cold enough, you have to change now" hoping Kevin takes his hand off my arm, I start walking. But he still holds me. "What?" my many.

"wait here. I'll take you home" he said, releasing his hand.

"Hey, no need. I mean, I don't memorize roads but there's GPS. Your friend is waiting too. Don't make me feel guilty about him.  Okay" obviously.

I walked away from Kevin who was still looking at me. I waved my hand repeatedly, lest he worry about me.
