A Story From Zinnia

Part 9: The Explosion

Zinnia flowers are blooming with the arrival of spring. The warmth of the sun can already be felt in Zinnia. The cool but warm weather makes spring a favorite season of many people.

Because of the warm weather, now people no longer need to wear thick clothes to dispel the cold wind. The weather is perfect for a picnic. Not a few areas in Zinnia that hold spring festivals.

"Hey Louis, have you been to the roof?" Xavier asked who broke the silence of their lunch time.

"Remain? You mean rooftop?" Ask Louis back while inserting a tablespoon containing pieces of chicken meat.

"I think my sister was there for her excursion. I've never been."

"Well..is I the only one who doesn't know about the roof of this school? Even after 4 more years of schooling here."

"You are busy, Your Majesty." Ejek Louis's.

The food on their lunch tray is now over. It is time to eat dessert. Xavier devours a fruit pudding served by the school cafeteria. Louis prefers to eat two macarons.

"You want to go there?"

"Huh?"

"To the school rooftop, I'll ask my sister later because usually the door to the roof is locked and you have to find the school guard."

"Can you?"

Louis who heard the question was a little upset, did his friend forget that he was the third most respected person in the country, if only to go to the roof of the school who would ban him?

"Hey who will oppose you here? Only a double-living person would dare forbid you from just going to the rooftop."

"Aahaha right too." Xavier said while grinning and scratching the back of his head that was not actually itchy.

"Just wait on the stairs upstairs after school, I'll find my sister first, who knows she knows the school keeper who holds the key."

After the bell from school rang like they had promised, Xavier headed straight for the top floor stairs. But it seems that the door to the roof is not locked or maybe there is already someone who entered first. Xavier just went straight outside from that slightly gaping door.

Blank. There's no one here. From this roof he could see the football field below and the classroom across the building. The place is quite cool and comfortable. To his right was a staircase short enough to lead to a higher building.

'Where have I just found out a place like this' said her heart.

Xavier also walked around to be more familiar with the place. There's only a long bench and two basketballs who don't know who's left here. And all of a sudden when Xavier was about to pick up the basketball,

"HOAHHH~"

There was the sound of someone who had just yawned and woke up from his sleep. Xavier searched for the source of the voice, and suddenly the head of a blonde girl from a higher building appeared. That surprised Xavier. The girl then stood up. Both of their eyes met and both of them were shocked at the same time.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!" Shouted the girl while pointing at Xavier.

".....I just stopped by." Xavier replied in confusion.

The girl looked at Xavier's face from a distance, "His face looks familiar." His words in the heart.

"AH! You're Xavier, the prince apparently." Then the girl went down through the stairs until now they were only a few steps away.

"Yes, it's me and you... You're no stranger, you're Eveline's friend, right?"

"Oh remember it turns out, yes I'm Oliver. What's a prince like you going all the way to the roof?"

"And I told you I just stopped by out of curiosity. You alone?"

"Oh! Ahahaha I fell asleep here."

"....wasn't it?"

"Yes." Yeah." Oliver nodded. "Why? Can't she? Is this school roof yours?"

Soon, administratively yes indeed this school has a royal family, which you could say yes have Xavier too.

"It more or less belongs to my family."

'Didn't say yes' Inner Oliver.

Not long after, two other people came, none other than Louis and Eveline.

"Yes, someone came in." Xavier Sahut.

"Loh, Oliver are you here? From the search for Professor Archie during class hours, it turns out the person did not enter the class and even here?" Omelette Eveline.

"True, if it's uncomfortable where maybe Oliver can fall asleep so soundly and miss two hours of lessons." Xavier LEDK.

"HEY!!!"

"AHAHAHA." They all laugh. No one knew since when the four of them became close like this.

After the conversation on the roof, the four of them agreed to make the roof of the school as a place to hang out with them. Then they decided to go home, Oliver did not forget to take the bag and his belongings are still left in the class. Now Xavier and Louis were walking in the first floor hallway and were about to head to the front gate, but suddenly there was an explosion. His voice was very far away, yet very clearly heard.

People who were still in school panicked and ran outside. Xavier's bodyguards, who were always around him, hurriedly escorted him out of the building.

"Evelines.... Eveline's still inside. I have to find him!" Said Louis who immediately ran back inside looking for his sister.

"Be careful Louis!" Shouted Xavier warned.

"Your Majesty, you better get in the car and go back to the palace. I'll find out where the explosion came from."

"All right."

Xavier rushed back to the palace, where at least he was safe. When he arrived at the palace, security was tightened. Then he ran and looked for his father to find out exactly what happened.

"Where is dad??!!" Asked Xavier who was half-cried.

"P-The king's face is in the monitor room." Said one of the palace servants while stammering.

Sure enough his father was in the basement monitor room. The room contains a lot of computers, which is useful for monitoring what happens in Zinnia. Starting from the state of traffic, airports, docks, stations, mountainous areas, forests and the sea, as well as areas that are indeed monitored.

"Dad what happened?" Ask Xavier who just walked into the room. Nathaniel was already there.

"Emergency situations. Calendula sent their warship into the Nirvana Sea."

Xavier was speechless, the atmosphere was extremely tense. The look on his father's face looked very serious looking at the screen in front of him.

"Keep giving them a warning, get the surveillance ship out first. Let's see their reaction." King Arthur said to the operator there.

"Your Majesty, they still don't want to back down."

"Your Majesty, there are two other ships that have passed through the borders of our waters."

What kind of situation is this. Why did Calendula suddenly send their warship? Not just one, but three at a time?!

"Prepare our military and send warships. Raise the status to emergency."

"Okay, Your Majesty."

Then the alarm bell was pressed, the sound of the alarm went off.

"YOUR MAJESTY THERE'S A FIGHTER JET DETECTED ON OUR RADAR." Everyone there was surprised instead of playing, was it true that their country would fight back?

"Calenes.... Really yes you guys. Prepare the warplanes, get them on standby.... We're at war."

King Arthur is now out of the monitor room, followed by Nathaniel from behind,

"Elthon keeps watching what's going on, I'll get ready for the field."

"But Your Majesty"

King Arthur rushed to his private room with Elthon trailing from behind, he changed into his military uniform. There are only three conditions under which male royal members can wear their military uniforms. First when the wedding ceremony, then the formal event, and last when fighting.

"Elthon, call the media and let them know the current situation!" King Arthur said firmly.

"Okay, Your Majesty."
