8 To 4: The Mayor's Contract Wife

8 To 4: The Mayor's Contract Wife
Officially Divorced

“What Bu Ajeng is ready to leave?” ask Tony that morning.

Ajeng. “But I still have to wait Abdi.”

Ajeng looked through the contents of Boni's shop and found something he had long wanted to buy.

"Oh yes, Mom. This is a letter to Bu Ajeng. Last night was just delivered here by courier."

Ajeng received the letter and opened the contents.

'Declaration?' batin Ajeng's.

She wiped her tears while smiling. There was a sense of relief mixed with guilt in his mind. Relieved because he finally officially divorced Bara. Tapo also feels very guilty for using Bara's kindness only for the sake of his own happiness with other men.

“Again, Mom. Ready yet?” tanya Abdi who suddenly was behind Ajeng and surprised him.

Ajeng hurriedly put his divorce papers back in the envelope and kept them in the boxes they would take to Nusa Beringin.

"It has. Let's go!"

They finally set off with the ship that was heading to the island. Once there, they immediately delivered all the goods to the clinic.

“How are things here, Mas?” tanya Ajeng after reuniting with Wira behind the fence

“It's starting to improve. But there was one person who died from not being able to go through a critical period. Here's medicine. We need it very much.”

Abdi pushed the two boxes he was carrying into the fence of the clinic. Then the Wira just left without saying anything to Abdi as if he did not know each other.

“What is this? Why doesn't Mas Wira say anything to you?”

“I already know what he wants to say just by looking at his face.”

“What did he say?”

“Jagain Ajeng and beware if you dare to macem-macem!”

“Hahaha..” Ajeng laughed out loud hearing Abdi's claw.

When they want to invite Abdi back to his house, they pass through the water distillery that has been working with all his energy and mind. I don't know what caught his attention, but Abdi stood there for a moment.

“This is a simple desalination that Mas Wira made with citizens.” Ajeng.

“She's more like a mayor now.” Gumam Abdi.

Ajeng. “Not only did he create this simple desalination device, he also began to devise a village-level organization system for the island. He also asked the head of the guard post to apply for the establishment of a new village to Governor Jala Brata to improve the welfare of the citizens."

“This is also the result of his initiative. The first and only natural school on the island.” Ajeng said after arriving at the open school he made beside the house.

When around observing the house that Wira built for Ajeng, Abdi's steps stopped in front of the tent that was left fixed on the terrace of the house. Abdi opened the door and found a pillow and blanket inside.

“So when will you guys really get married?” ask Abdi to Ajeng.

“Uhuk.. Uhuk.. Huh huh? Why is it so rich all of a sudden?”

Abdi closed the door again. “He took pains to build a house but every night even slept in a tent.”

Ajeng frowned, annoyed to hear Abdi's insinuations. So he decided to go inside the house and leave Abdi alone outside.

A few days later, the patient gradually recovered and was allowed to go home thanks to the medicines Abdi and Ajeng brought from the city. Residents are unceasingly grateful to them for the help they have received so far. After the clinic began to empty and return to normal operations, Wira asked Husein's doctor's permission to return home.

“Thank you, Wir. I don't know what we would be without your help.”

“Don't talk like that, Doc. I just do what I have to do. That's it.”

“If there is anything we can help you to repay your kindness, just say it!”

The hero shook his head but he then remembered something. “Dok, do doctors know about the inmates who are in the garage there?”

Dr. Husein nodded. “Are you looking for someone?”

The hero nodded slowly. “Only I don't know what his name is.”

“What's the person like?”

The hero explains the characteristics of the person to dr. Hussein.

“There are many inmates with such features. Is there nothing specific?” ask dr. Hussein again.

The hero returned to shake.

“Ya already, later if we make a visit there, I will invite you.”

“Good doc. Thank you.”

As always, dr. Husein gave plaster to Wira to give to Ajeng. But this time he added vitality and fertility pills in the pouch he gave to the Hero.

"This is a gift for you."
