8 To 4: The Mayor's Contract Wife

8 To 4: The Mayor's Contract Wife
Family Candidate Visits

After getting out of the boutique, Bara apparently did not bring Ajeng back to his house but instead went to Bara's house. Ajeng who felt not delivered home, refused to come down.

“I don't want to go down if not at home.” Reject Ajeng while remaining unmoved in his seat while shortening and throwing his face away.

Not able to stand the stubbornness of Ajeng, Bara put his hands on the nape and legs of Ajeng then carried him into the house.

“Lease!!!! Release me!!!” yell Ajeng.

But Bara was too strong and burly to let go of Ajeng just like that. The servants looked surprised as well as blushed to see their young master carrying such a woman. Likewise with Bu Taufik who looks very happy to see the manly attitude of his favorite son.

“Sini, here!” Bu Taufik guided Bara to the sofa where Ajeng was sitting.

Bara then lowers Ajeng on the sofa and Ajeng chooses to keep his head down in embarrassment. He then went up to his room to change his clothes.

“Hai, Jeng! How are you doing? Bara says you're still too weak to go anywhere. But he still wants to bring you here. Aunt sorry well?”

Ajeng could only grunt while shaking his head like a fool.

“Tante seneng see you two. Compatible and romantic.”

Ajeng increasingly wrong behavior and want to escape it feels.

“Oh yes, how did you get the wedding dress?”

Ajeng returned in a nod while nodding.

“Tante is looking forward to your wedding day. Do you know, Bara was a very quiet and ignorant boy. But since meeting you, he has become more passionate and friendly. Aunty can see clearly that she is very in love with you.” Said Bu Taufik while blushing himself.

“Ma! What the hell is that talking?! Who is in love too? Don't just talk! Ntar fall to slander.” Bara Protest.

“So much as you want to snack rich how. But this is a fact, not a slander.” Ms. Taufik left Ajeng, grabbed her phone and called someone.

“You want to take a short walk?” bargain politely.

Feeling bad because of the incident of the wedding dress and his disrespectful attitude to his mother Bara, Ajeng was forced to agree. Bara was about to carry him to a wheelchair but Ajeng first refused and avoided.

“I can walk by myself.” Ajeng said as he walked towards his wheelchair.

Bara then took him around his house until he stopped at the part of the park that had been provided with a dining table and two chairs under a shady tree. The dishes were arranged neatly on the dining table. Bara then shifted one of the chairs to Ajeng then he himself sat in the other seat.

“What is this?”

“Wira says you like dining table in garden.”

Ajeng tried to hold back his tears. “Then what do you want?”

“Wira advised that I make you a dining table in our home garden when married later” added Bara.

Ajeng. He could no longer hold back his tears that forced him to flow.

“Already! I want this to be your last tear. After this you will no longer hear me discuss that man. I just brought you here so you could eat. That's it.”

“I'm not hungry.” Reject the teaching as usual.

“Eh, you guys here?” Bu Taufik suddenly came and joined them.

Bara pulled Ajeng's wheelchair closer to her and let her mother sit in the chair she had removed. “Please, Ma!”

“Gentlement mama..” praise Bu Taufik to Bara.

“Come, please sample, Jeng. This aunt herself is shopping and cooking specifically for you.”

“Oh yes?” sahut Ajeng.

Ajeng could not refuse anymore despite being reluctant. But Bara had already added side dishes and vegetables to Ajeng's plate and began to feed it to Ajeng's mouth.

Ajeng felt ashamed of being treated like that in front of Bu Taufik.

“Aaan anyway, Bar. I can eat by myself.” Reject Ajeng while taking the plate and spoon from Bara's hand.

“Ma, can't mama eat it in dalem aja? This Ajeng embarrassed to be seen the same mama.” Bara's babble melts the atmosphere.

“Ngga papa again, Jeng. Don't be ashamed! Consider it an exercise. If you marry, you will be queen. Just sit sweet, he will layanin you. Everything was. He'll sell everything you ask for.” Bu Taufik.

“Ma –“

“Iya, yes.. Mama is in!”

“Ngga to Tan. It is better to eat rame-rame gini.” Ajeng grasped the hand of Bara who held a spoon and then fed it to his mouth.

Bara smiled happily to see Ajeng being more lenient to him. Bara feed again a spoonful of food very slowly and carefully into Ajeng's mouth.

“Aduh, mama can't stand to see your romance. Mama is in!” Bu Taufik then let the two couples continue their campaign of displays of affection.

Suddenly Ajeng brushed off Bara's hand, took the plate and placed it on the table after Bu Taufik left. “It's enough. I want to go home!”

“Jeng!” Bara felt very disappointed because Ajeng was only pretending in front of his mother.

The girl had already pushed herself into the parking lot. But Bara stopped him first and pushed him back into the living room where his mother was waiting with someone.

“Have finished eating?” asked Bu Taufik when he saw Bara pushing Ajeng's wheelchair inside.

“Already.”

“Good. This is Mr. Jamil waiting for you.”

‘Pak Jamil?’ muttered Ajeng.

“This is the candidate of the bride, Mr.” said Bu Taufik introduced. “Bara, Ajeng, this is Mr. Jamil, the most skilled jeweler you've ever known. He will make jewelry for your wedding later.”

Mr. Jamil turned his head and was shocked to see Ajeng sitting in a wheelchair wearing the brooch he had made for Wira, as well as Ajeng. But Ajeng shook his head pettyly asking him to pretend not to know him.

Jamil approached Ajeng and extended his hand. “I Jamil, Non.”

“Ajeng.” Reply Ajeng.

“So, what kind of jewelry does Non Ajeng want?” asked Jamil while glancing at the brooch that Ajeng was wearing that afternoon.

Ajeng glanced at Bara. “Let's just choose, Sir.”

“Loh how am I anyway? That would be for you.” Reject Bara.

“Not you yourself who said, if my decision means nothing?”

“Jengs! Comeon! You know very well that this is not what I mean.”

“Ngga is different. You are the biggest decision-maker. So please specify anything as you like!” reply Ajeng ketus. “I excuse me.”

Bu Taufik who was cheerful, suddenly stunned to hear the words of Ajeng just now.”What's the matter?”

“Let Bara talk to him.” Said Bara while following Ajeng wheelchair.
