8 To 4: The Mayor's Contract Wife
Strictness

Arriving at the office, Yuni submitted her activity report that day directly to the mayor because the Hero asked for it.

“What?!” asked the Wira after hearing all the reports Yuni had told him. “So, not be broadcast?”

Yuni nodded. “Bu Wali says his working hours are up.”

Wira. “So, where is Bu Wali now?”

“Home home, Sir.”

Wira scrunched her forehead while deepening, ‘Can-can you go home in this situation.’

“OK. Yuni, you can also go home. Thank you for accompanying the Guardian Lady today. Please help Ms Guardians yah?”

“Good, then I'm sorry, Mr.”

Although upset, Wira tried to honor the deal they had made. The time had indeed passed from four in the afternoon, but he did not expect that Ajeng would be as precise as that time when working.

In order to reduce the pressure, Wira took a walk to the city square to review the progress of the afternoon tourist market event. And how surprised he saw that that afternoon the number of traders who joined increased rapidly, as well as the visitors. The parking attendant was overwhelmed to direct the vehicle that was about to find parking because the place was almost full.

The hero could finally put on a smile on his lips. Although the method is quite extreme and the increase in participation has not been maximal, but at least what Ajeng did that day paid off. So Wira closes her uniform with a jacket, wears her sunglasses, then enters the tourist market location and blends in with other visitors.

Because too busy shopping, Wira to forget the time. When he arrived at his service home, it was already dark and the atmosphere began to quiet.

“Mother where, Bi?” ask the hero as soon as he arrives at his house.

“Mother out sir. Already from this afternoon.”

“Where?”

“Say to go to Gajahmada.”

“Gajahmada? Up what? Same who?”

“Self Sir. Bike pack, Sir.”

“Bicycle? Wind bikes that Aunty usually uses shopping?”

“Iya Pak.”

Wira handed all the food he bought in the tourist market to Bi Sumi, “Bi please bring it in?”

“Good Sir.”

“Di, collect security team. I need to discuss something.”

“Good, Sir!”

“There's something I want to talk to you all about. From today, Tegar and Galang will take turns escorting Bu Ajeng from afar. Being unfamiliar with the escorts, I do not want your existence to make Bu Ajeng feel uncomfortable. You also do not need to wear fresham like this so as not to be too flashy.”

“Good, Sir.”

“I myself will give you the command and settings. So don't act without my knowledge!”

“Good, Sir.”

Meanwhile, when he was going home from shopping for clothes on Gajahmada street which is the center of the city of Carang Sewu, Ajeng accidentally saw a man beating a little girl on the side of the road. At first Ajeng only looked, but the man kept on yelling and beating at the girl. Because no one cared, Ajeng approached them and stopped the man.

“Who are you?” the man protested to Ajeng.

“I just happened to pass by and saw Father beating this boy.”

“Do not interfere which is none of your business. This is my son, so it's up to me what.” Timpal the beaver father.

“If this Father is a good father, I will not beat your own son. Don't you see he's scared and in pain?”

“Bigger yes, you! How dare I preach to me. You think I'm scared of you?!”

The girl hid in fear behind Ajeng. Ajeng then intended to take the girl away on his bike but the Father pulled her shoulders violently and slapped her cheek.

As if not quite satisfied with slapping Ajeng's cheek, the man was more brutal and tried to punch Ajeng in the face but he managed to avoid and fend off the hand attack of the Father. The fight between them was inevitable. The residents who saw trying to divorce and stop their dispute but the man who was being ignited by anger even clawed Ajeng's arm and wanted to menotosnya. Fortunately, Tegar first came and helped Ajeng overcome the man who was crazy because of the anger.

Tegar takes the man to the police station while Ajeng calms the girl down and takes her back home.

When he arrived home, Wira was waiting for Ajeng on the terrace. Ajeng put down his bike and then approached Wira who looks ready to devour it all out.

“Why are you making a fuss on the roadside? You know not if tomorrow the story of your brutal action will spread throughout the city. People will know that their Mayor likes to play rough.” Omel Wira so Ajeng sat on the chair.

“Mas Wira thinks I'm fussing on the roadside? The boy was forced into marriage and severely beaten with his father. Wira wants me to be cuddled? Sorry, I can't.”

“But you don't have to intervene alone. What if you get hurt? Your duties and responsibilities as the mayor's mother will be neglected. How many citizens will be harmed?”

“Mas, make me one life that can be saved in plain sight that is also a very important duty and responsibility as a fellow human being.”

The mind breathes rough. “From now on, you cannot leave without asking for permission.”

“Serah!” He got up from his seat and went into the room.

The next morning when he woke up, Ajeng saw that the scratches on his hands had been treated and wrapped in wound plaster. He looked out the window and grabbed his towel and shoes and went for a morning run.
