"Yes, Doc? what's up?" arfan asked half-anxious because he was afraid this was about his wife.
"Doctor Arfan, your wife is awake" said Dr. Roger who of course makes Arfan immediately surprised as well as breathe a sigh of relief.
"Thank God, O Allah. I'll be in the hospital soon, please do a detailed check on my wife yes, Doc" Arfan enthusiastically asked.
"What's up, Fan? Elnaz's conscious?" ask Ms. Isna.
"Yes, Ma. Alhamdulillah" said Arfan who made Bu Isna and Mr. Malik sigh of relief and immediately give thanks.
"We've done it, Doctor Arfan. I'll talk to you later" Doctor Roger said again.
"Alright, Doc. Thank you very much" said Arfan who then he accelerated the speed of his car.
Arriving at the hospital, Arfan and his in-laws immediately ran to the room of Elnaz. In front of his room there was Bu Yuni and Pak Adi waiting for Arfan.
"Fan, Elnaz is conscious. There are Doctors and nurses inside, we can't go in" Bu Yuni said worriedly and fearfully, because he really wanted to see the condition of Elnaz but of course in addition to nurses and doctors were not allowed to enter.
"Ma, that's hospital protocol. Let us concentrate on treating the patient" Arfan explained quickly because he himself wanted to see Elnaz's condition now and make sure his wife was okay.
Bu Yuni who saw Bu Isna immediately became furious, of course because his sister-in-law's son almost made the lives of his daughter-in-law and future grandchildren lost.
"Eh, Is... You should be a little mama, can you?" pekik Bu Yuni after Arfan entered the nursery of Elnaz.
"What does it mean to talk like that?" ask Ms. Isna.
"Still ask me what do I mean? Is, your son almost killed my daughter-in-law and future grandchild" exclaimed Bu Yuni emotionally, her husband trying to calm Ms. Yuni and embrace her shoulder.
"Yun, it's like this, it's a hospital. Later Arfan is angry if you make a storm here" said Mr. Adi. While Malik can only be silent because what he said was very true, not only his wife who is not good at looking after children but also Mr. Malik.
"I don't want to make a fuss, Mom. Indeed, who does not feel emotion if his daughter-in-law and future grandchildren are harmed by people?" Bu Yuni replied that she did not want to be blamed.
"Sir, Elnaz is also my son, my biological son, the child in his womb also my flesh and blood. I'm also sad, I'm also worried about Elnaz, Ma'am" said Ms Isna who did not want to lose.
"Here you go, Is" continued Mr. Malik "This is our fault, if we do not bring Elsa to the house of Elnaz, this will not happen" said Mr. Malik trying to calm the atmosphere.
"Yuni.." growled Mr. Adi because for him, his wife was already talking which was not and should not talk like that in the circumstances as it is now.
While Ms. Isna was of course angry and upset to hear what her sister-in-law said but Ms. IIsna could not say any more words because what she said was very true. And he is still grateful because at least there is still one disgrace that is still not spread, namely Elsa's boyfriend who turns out to be the husband of people.
"You should both be quiet" asked Mr. Malik who was furious with the behavior of his brother and wife "Elnaz again sick and you are even your own emotions"
...
"Darling, can you hear me?" arfan asked gently to Elnaz. Elnaz's eyes were so sad, he was still pale and also looked very weak. Elnaz blinked his eyes slowly in response to her husband's question. Arfan who understood it immediately breathed a sigh of relief and he also seemed to be crying so happy because his wife was conscious.
"Alhamdulillah, dear. You'll be fine, don't worry, hm" said Arfan softly and suddenly Elnaz let out his tears from the corner of his eyes. She wanted to talk to her husband, but Elnaz seemed to have no power to even make his voice.
His neck was sore and stiff, his legs were also sore and he could not move them. Not to mention his head that was like a rock hit so sick.
"Hey, Honey. Don't cry, I'm here, honey" said Arfan gently as he wiped away Elnaz's tears.
"Now you rest yes, you must rest a lot so that you recover quickly" asked Arfan and once again Elnaz just winked his eyes and he still shed tears from the corner of his eyes.
"Darling, why are you crying. Is anyone sick, hm?" say Arfan is stupid because he still asks so, because as a Doctor he knows better than his patients about it. But Arfan did feel stupid when he saw his wife who just blinked and cried, because Arfan knew his wife must be in a lot of pain at this time.
"You don't worry, Doctor's husband, do you? Insha Allah brother will heal you, Princess. You are patient a little yes" said Arfan again who made the corner of Elnaz's lips a little interested in forming a faint smile. She blinked again in response that she believed in her husband.
As Elnaz recalls how the accident happened to him, Elnaz is thrown as he stomps his hand violently as he is held by Elsa. Elnaz even remembered how his rear head had hit the sharp end of the stairs hard and after that he remembered nothing, because Elnaz could not control the pain in the back of his head that made him instantly faint. And when you wake up like this, it turns out Elnaz's condition is much worse.
Remembering the incident made Elnaz feel afraid, suddenly his gaze became so sweet again. From Elnaz's gaze he also implied that he was afraid. Arfan who realized it immediately won his wife.
"It's okay, honey. You're okay now, hm" Arfan urged. Now Arfan thinks Elnaz is traumatized.
"Sister wants you to hang on, Princess. Passing all this pain, because now you are pregnant, dear" said Arfan again who immediately made the pupils of Elnaz's eyes slightly widened and his gaze also no longer implies fear. But he looked happy and moved. Arfan told her with a happy smile.
"Therefore, you must be strong yes, so that our child is strong" asked Arfan again and Elnaz tried to nod but could not because of the cast that was installed on his neck. Arfan kissed his wife's forehead and Elnaz closed his eyes, enjoying her husband's warm touch. Knowing the fact of her pregnant self makes Elnaz feel as if all her pain is gone and there is only a sense of happiness now.
