Eps 70 - Return to Jakarta

The atmosphere of the house of Elnaz is still mourning, Elnaz and his family are still difficult to get rid of the sadness in their hearts because of the lives of loved ones.

The tahlilalan event was held at home every night and some of their distant relatives also came in turns.

But Arfan can only stay there for 3 days and can not be more, his work as a Doctor makes Arfan can not leave his job too long. But Elnaz and Elsa are still at home and they intend to return to Jakarta after the 7-day event.

During that time of mourning, no one talks about the problem of Elsa who ran away even though Mr. Malik still keeps a sense of annoyance at his daughter what else at the last moment the mother who continues to call her grandchild but Elsa does not there are.

Mr. Malik rarely even talked to Elsa unless there is a very important need, Elsa could not do anything but accept the consequences of what she has done, he said, but Elsa is still lucky because there is a mother who continues to accompany her even after what Elsa did.

Until the 8th day, Elnaz and Elsa decided to return to Jakarta together.

"Wait a minute, son." said Mr. Malik and his two daughters were waiting for their father.

Mr. Malik went to his room and he took a ring belonging to his late mother. The ring was a hereditary ring from his late grandfather.

"That's a mother's ring, Lik.." said Bu Yuni.

"Yes, Mother. This is a mother's ring, in fact she bequeathed this to her grandson in order to be given to his wife" said Mr. Malik later. Elsa and Elnaz can only look at their father and the ring he holds.

"So, this is for you, Elnaz.." continued Mr. Malik and pulled the right hand of Elnaz, put the ring on her middle finger because if it is worn on her ring finger then it is definitely a greatness ring.

Elnaz raised his hand and noticed the beautifully circular golden ring on his finger.

While Elsa returns feeling heartbroken over what Elnaz got, after Arfan, now the legacy ring is away from Elnaz. Elsa could not deny that she was so jealous of her sister.

"This is from the late grandfather?" ask Elnaz lirih.

"Yes, bequeathed to Papa to give to your Mama, and if Papa had a son, then we would have to pass it on to our son when he got married, but since we don't have sons, then this is the right of the grandchildren of the grandmothers and that means Arfan's, and since you're Arfan's wife, then this is yours" mister Malik again.

"Then why don't you give it to Arfan, Lik? Let Arfan directly give it to Elnaz" Bu Yuni said again.

"Yes, Mother. I know, I should have given this to Arfan when Arfan got married.." said Mr. Malik as he glanced at Elsa who was currently also staring at her father with a grim face.

"Arfan, Elnaz and Elsa are my children. Whoever Arfan's soul mate, as his uncle I can only pray for him. What's more her soul mate is one of my children, for me they're both the same. Same with my daughter" said again that makes Elnaz immediately scattered into the arms of the father "

"Thank you, Papa.." - Elnaz shrieked in his father's arms and Malik kissed the head of Elnaz.

"Return the love, dear" replied Mr. Malik.

While Miss Isna just stared coldly at her husband who had given the ring to Elnaz without her knowledge and without her consent. He also has the right to the ring.

"Come, it's time we leave" said Mr. Malik.

Elnaz and Elsa salim Bu Yuni, Pak Adi and Bu Isna alternately.

"Brains, El. And take care of health, let's get pregnant quickly." said Bu Yuni who again attracted the attention of Elsa. Makes Elsa think she's supposed to get that attention.

"God willing, Mama." replied Elnaz.

Miss Isna hugged Elsa and kissed her cheek, telling Elsa to take care of herself.

"You should eat regularly, and get enough rest. Don't work too tired, you will get sick" he said.

"Yes, Ma. Mama don't worry" Elsa's reply calmed her mother down.

Mr. Malik also drove the two girls to the airport, Elsa sitting in front while Elnaz in the back.

"Papa hope you can take care of yourself, Elsa.." said Mr. Malik suddenly arrived.

"Elsa's an adult, Pa. Elsa can take care of herself" replied Elsa.

"You know, son. You are an adult, but Papa is a father, do not you just adults, even if you are married and have children, for Papa you are still Papa's child, which Papa will always think. And papa is worried that you have no news" replied Mr. Malik so gently, hoping with his tenderness then Elsa would understand his anxiety about her daughter.

"Yes, Pa. L'm... I will always tell Papa" Elsa said at last.

Arriving at the airport, Mr. Malik drove the two children to check in and before parting, Mr. Malik kissed the sweet potato of his daughter with affection.

"Papa hope you two can take care of yourself and become a mature woman. Especially you, El. So be a good wife to Arfan and obey your imam" he said.

"Yes, Pa. Inysa Allah" replied Elnaz.
