Eps 83 - Still Cold

"El.." -...."

"Elnaz..."

Elnaz turned his head when his name was called, he saw Robin running towards him while defying his heavy-looking backpack.

"What's wrong?" elnaz asked in a low voice.

"Why? Have you been to Jimmy's apartment?" robin and Elnaz asked only weakly.

"Is there a wife there?" ask Jimmy again and Elnaz shakes his head.

"I'm forbidden to take care of Jimmy and Elsa's business again, Rob. I went to class first" said Elnaz because he wanted to avoid Robin, Elnaz did not want to get into trouble again because of this problem.

Robin who saw Elnaz immediately sauntered away feeling disappointed because Elnaz seemed to avoid him, he said, Robin was trying to understand because after all Elnaz was the wife of people and Robin also had seen that Arfan like her did not like her.

Elsa goes about her day as usual, she works and then goes to spend time with Jimmy.

Here Jimmy again persuaded her to return to her apartment but Elsa refused him. Elsa instead takes Jimmy's promise to take Elsa to his parents.

'come, Jim. Mumpung there's my Papa here"

"My mom's dad's busy, El. They went out of town" Jimmy replied casually.

"Loh, you promised you'd meet me with them. You didn't tell them about me?" ask Elsa irritatedly.

"Already, Sa. They're happy and they're eager to see you, too, but what do you want again? They're busy right now" Elsa could only sigh deeply at Jimmy's reasoning, while Jimmy looked calm instead.

"We better meet your Papa, take the road where it is. But he's here, right? Hows it? so that I get closer to your Papa" said Jimmy, which of course makes Elsa happy.

"Okey, if you're not busy, we'll pick up Papa now yes" asked Elnaz with a big smile.

"Who, Beb. That dong, a big smile, very beautiful" praise Jimmy who certainly makes Elsa happy. Elsa really wants Jimmy close to her Papa, so that her papa knows that Jimmy is a good man, as good as Arfan of course.

Elsa and Jimmy go to Arfan's house to take her Papa Elsa on the road.

Once there, Elsa and Jimmy are not greeted warmly by Mr. Malik. Even Mr. Malik is not only cold to Jimmy but also to Elsa, it makes Elsa sad and upset with Elnaz who he considers to be bad at his Papa. Mr. Malik did not even allow the two of them to enter the house and just chat in front of the house

"Pa, I'm the same Jimmy wants to take Papa on the street or shopping. Instead of at home Papa is alone, it must be bored, Pa" said Elsa trying to smile broadly at her Papa.

"No need, Sa. Papa likes to be at home" replied Mr. Malik. Elsa notices her Papa is wearing an apron and her hands are exposed to flour, even on her cheeks there is also flour.

"Papa cook? Indeed Elnaz does Papa's cooking food?" elsa asked in annoyance but Mr. Malik shook his head instead.

"Elnaz already masakin Papa nasi goreng earlier, Papa wants to make a cake for Elnaz" replied Mr. Malik who made Elsa even more upset.

"Elnaz's just fried rice?" peeker Elsa "That's not healthy, Pa. There is no nutrition what else if you make breakfast" said Elsa.

"How about we just go eat?" Jimmy suggested happily.

"Then we can order food, what do we want?" Jimmy again suggests to please his father Elsa.

"No need, you better go because I'm busy" expelled Mr. Malik then which of course immediately makes Elsa very upset at her father who kicked her out with the heart.

"Papa loves Elnaz more? until I'm kicked out?" pissed her.

"That's not what Papa means, Sa. But Papa thinks your relationship with Elnaz is not good, so it's as good as you don't have to meet for some time. And this house is also the house of Elnaz, maybe soon Elnaz will also come home. Papa doesn't want to see you guys bickering again" said Mr. Malik in despair. He really did not expect his children to cross directions.

"Okey, if Papa needs anything. Papa should call me.." pinta Elsa and her father nodded with a smile.

Mr. Malik hugged Elsa before Elsa left, he looked at his daughter who had disturbed the calm of his feelings because Mr. Malik still kept ringing with what Elnaz said.

On the way home, Elsa called her Mama and said that her Papa did not want to be invited to walk because he was busy cooking for Elnaz.

Elnaz waits for Arfan in the parking lot, he does not call her husband but simply sends a message asking Arfan to pick her up.

Shortly after Arfan came and Elnaz immediately entered the car without greeting Arfan or just staring at him.

Elnaz was still cold and so was Arfan. Elnaz put up earphones and listened to music from his cell phone.

Arfan felt empty when he saw Elnaz who was so cold, did not want to look at him what else was talking to him. But Arfan is also still upset at Elnaz who went to Jimmy's apartment without his permission and believes Robin's story for granted.

Elnaz's phone rang and he saw Mama Isna's name on his smartphone screen. Elnaz answered the call, but he did not say hello first as he usually did. Arfan glanced at Elnaz and he was wondering who called Elnaz. Arfan was afraid that his mother would again talk about the baby.

"El, where are you?" her mother's voice was cold to her as well.

"On the road" answered Elnaz briefly.

"You give me your Papa's breakfast just fried rice? it's not healthy, El" Elnaz smiled wryly at her mother's upset speech.

"Only breakfast fried rice at all will not make Papa Struk" replied Elnaz. Arfan glanced back at Elnaz with a shrunken forehead.

"Who?" ask Arfan then curious.

"Mama, like his upset because Papa in love breakfast is just fried rice" replied Elnaz relaxed when his phone connection is still connected with his Mama.

"Said Elsa Your papa also made a cake, indeed you can not just order? kasian your Papa, El. She can't make cake" said the mother, who made Elnaz smile.

"So the word Elsa is always right huh?" asked the cynical Elnaz who made Arfan frown even more deeply.

"What's wrong with Papa making me a cake, Ma? every father will do something that makes his son happy, right? at least on his birthday" said Elnaz increasingly cynical that makes Arfan more stunned.

He was like seeing another figure in Elnaz, his cold demeanor, his cynical smile and his bold words like never before.

After that, Mama's Elnaz disconnect his phone unilaterally, Elnaz was very sure that his mother was upset at him. Elnaz just smiled wryly and he went back to listening to the music in silence, he sat leaning back and threw his gaze out the window.

While Arfan can only sigh long because his second attitude is still the same cold makes Arfan feel very uncomfortable.
