Brakk!
Greta almost jumped in shock as Alia opened the door of their room violently.
"What's wrong?" Greta asked as she approached Alia who was walking towards her seat.
"Why don't you say that the person who is the messenger of the Blue Banyu company is the Son!" With emotion, Alia asked Greta.
Greta could only frown and stare at Alia who seemed to be crying.
"Son? Who's she?" Greta pretends not to know the name of the man Alia just mentioned. Alia was silent, she only realized that Greta did not know who she was referring to.
"N-no.." Alia averted her gaze and let out a long sigh.
"Mom, can you tell me who he is? Do you know him? Is he your friend or your enemy in Indonesia?"
Alia looked at Greta, then tears began to rise in her eyes.
"Come on's.. You have me mom.." Greta looked at Alia with a sympathetic look. While Alia was long silent, until she was made aware by Greta who gave her some tissue, to wipe the tears that she did not realize had wet her cheeks.
"I'm sure you're not okay Mom. You can talk to me. I can be a good listener without judging you ma'am."
Alia grabs some tissue from Greta's hand. Then he wiped his tears and now he tried to find the strength to tell Greta.
"Mom, how do you know I can help." Persuade Greta.
Alia let out a long sigh and lowered her gaze.
"He was the father of Eijaz."
Greta is silent, even though she already knows who the Son is. But the direct recognition of Alia's lips makes her side feel what Alia's middle and past feel.
"Here he tries to make peace with me, and wants to take responsibility for the Eijaz."
"Then?"
Alia was silent,
"Did she know you were pregnant with her child?" Ask Greta again.
Alia was still silent. How did the Son know he was pregnant with Eijaz? While he and Anton had thrown the Son into prison and did not allow the Son to know about his pregnancy. What should he blame the Son for? Wasn't that his and Anton's decision? Now Putra is far from Indonesia to meet him and ask about Eijaz, even Putra intends to be responsible as the biological father of Eijaz. Even the Son did not once offend custody or intend to take Eijaz from him. The arrival of the Son only wants to apologize and ask questions about Eijaz and if Alia admits that if Eijaz is the son of the Son, the Son would gladly want to be responsible. Although in fact Alia has been very able to raise Eijaz without material assistance from anyone.
"Mom?"
Alia was flabbergasted and looked at Greta for the umpteenth time. Then he tries to smile at Greta, to show her he is fine.
"Did she know you were pregnant with her child?" Ask Greta again.
Alia was only able to shake her head, then she bowed listlessly.
"A man in charge, would have asked whether it was his son or not. If he is not responsible, he will never ask. Let alone asking, it might just appear not in front of us."
Alia was stunned to look at Greta after listening to Greta's words that made her realize that the arrival of the Son was serious about apologizing and wanted to be responsible for Eijaz.
"I don't know what your past is like. But everyone can change. Maybe he was a jerk. As time passes, he learns to be a human who humanizes others. Who knows?"
Alia is getting the wrong way of hearing Greta's words.
"Do you have a grudge against her, ma'am?"
"No, I'm not vengeful. It's just that the pain she felt was so embedded in my heart." Alia Bright.
"It's possible that he's conscious after getting karma." Chirps Greta.
Alia was silent again. For three years the son spent the day in prison. The man has already experienced karma for all his actions. And now as Alia saw, the figure of the Son looks very different. That guy is better to look at. His face looked cool without hypocrisy and a livid mind. Three years later the man was languishing and three years later the man was given a chance to think about his mistake.
"Karma? Likewhat?" Ask Greta who keeps pretending not to know the story about Alia and the Son.
"He's me and my dad put him in jail."
Greta fell silent, what was told by the Son turned out to be true. The man was completely honest with himself without anyone being covered up in the slightest. Well bad, everything the Son told me and it was exactly the same as Alia told me at this time.
"It turns out the guy was honest." Inner Greta.
"What should I do?" Alia seemed stressed by what she was facing this time.
"Is he intending to take Eijaz?"
"No, he just wanted me to admit it was his son. If I admit it, he's happy to give up his responsibilities as a father." Alia Bright.
"Did he seem serious when he apologized?" Ask Greta again.
Alia seemed to be thinking of answering Greta's question. Then he tried to remember the look on the face of the Son during the meeting last night and earlier. Tifak looks a bit of a charade on the man's face. But his name he already felt the Son had deceived him too much, it was only natural that he could not put his trust in the Son anymore.
"I'm not sure."
"Hmmmm, that's." Greta nodded in understanding.
"Has Eijaz met his father?"
"It was, but ayu didn't say it was his father."
"Are you sure, ma'am? When something happens when Eijaz finds out who his father is? I also have a son, one day I will tell him who his father is. Whether it's just a picture or my ex comes, I'll be happy to introduce him to his father."
Alia fell silent, she looked at Greta.
"Aren't you vengeful for your son's father?"
"No. At first I was just angry. Why did he leave me? What wrong? Wh why? And a lot of her other questions made me hate her even more. But, the more I hated her, the more tormented I became and the harder it was to get through the day. I don't want to be like that. The only way is, I have to forgive and live my life to the best of my ability."
Alia is devastated by Greta's story. Greta is able to make peace with her past which makes her frustrated. As for himself, he still continued to plant his heartache on the Son. While he and his father had managed to drag the Son to prison. And now the man was begging for forgiveness. Then what else? Isn't the saying 'win to charcoal and lose to ashes?'.
Alia let out a long sigh and rubbed her face with both of her palms. He really felt a dilemma with what he was facing right now. In addition to the attitude of Eijaz lately which makes himself almost hire a man to play the role of the real father of Eijaz. But all that he did not do, because he still thinks psychological Eijaz if he knows his own mother could lie to him just to find safe. Then what does the honesty that Alia has been instilling into her only son?
"Oh God!" Alia ruffled her own hair and now she drowned her face on the table.
"We are a mother. For us, the smile of the children means the most. Isn't that what you said to me, Mom?"
Alia raised her face and looked at Greta who was smiling at her.
"Greta.."
"I got up because I thought you were worthy of my example ma'am. I really admire you for facing life and being a single parent. Please don't disappoint me."
"If only that man were the father of my son. Maybe I'll get him to meet my son. There's no point in arguing, because the child will be the victim." Connect Greta.
"Oh Greta's... I Love You." Alia moved from her seat and approached Greta. Then he hugged Greta with his tight hug. He wept with all that Greta told him. It was able to make himself think again, at this time, there was a woman who was not as lucky as him. But still be able to think positively in dealing with problems and situations. Able to rise in adversity without still harboring hatred.
"Thank you so much, Greta... You helped me and made me aware before I regretted it later. Thank ye... Thank you my Greta.."
Greta smiled and returned Alia's embrace no less tightly.
"Keep being my role model ma'am... To keep believing that you're the greatest woman I've ever met."
Alia let go of her embrace and looked at Greta closely.
"No, you are so much better than me" Alia said.
They smiled together and hugged each other tightly.
