Epis. 84 Mother-in-law

This morning Mia woke up with a dizzy and nauseous head. He got up and walked quickly to the bathroom. He sat in front of the closet and spewed out all the food he had eaten last night. Donny, who was still asleep, woke up to the sound of his wife vomiting in the bathroom.

“You why”, asked Donny with his pias face to see his wife sitting limply in front of the closet. Mia vomits again, Donny panics not knowing what to do to help his wife.

“Mas, I want to go back to bed”. Donny immediately carried her and took her to bed. After laying his wife down, he called Bu Mira through the intercom.not long after that Bu Mira came with a slightly panicked face because of Donny's angry tone.

“What's up, Tuan” asked Bu Mira still with her panicked face.

“What did they give my wife, why did she spit out all the food she ate last night?”  He tried to contain his anger in front of his wife. His kind and polite nature does not apply when it is about his wife.

“Mrs eat as you eat Tuan”, Ms. Mira caught a glimpse of Mia who does look pale.

“Bu, I want to drink hot milk, please make me ya”. Mia said limply, her husband would probably scold Bu Mira if she stayed longer in her room.

“Good, Nyonya”.

“We go to the hospital again ya”, Mia shook her head slowly. “I'm fine, Just a little dizzy”. Donny sighed, he was unwilling to force her into his seemingly helpless wife. Donny called Doctor Rafael for help to get the obstetrician to come check on his wife.

“Mas Donny doesn't work?” it's been seven in the morning but Donny hasn't even had a bath yet.

“How can Mas Donny work if his beautiful wife Mas Donny again in pain like this”. The pale face reflected a smile, Donny also smiled even though his heart was filled with worry. This was the first time he had faced such a situation in his life.

Not long before Ms. Mira entered with a female doctor who checked her content in the hospital that day. He didn't come alone, Doctor Rafael came with him.

“How are things, Doc? What needs to be treated in the hospital?” The doctor smiled looking at Donny's panicked face.

“No problem, Sir. Circumstances like this are normal for pregnant women”, explained Doctor. “In early pregnancy, pregnant women will experience nausea and dizziness in the morning. I will prescribe anti-nausea medication to deal with it”. Further again.

“Will it be like that every day?” ask Donny who saw his wife was not hearty.

“Normally it happens during the early trimester”. Donny sighed, wanting to feel like he was replacing his wife feeling it all.

Doctor Rafael and the woman's doctor are gone, Doctor Rafael had given understanding to his cousin that it is not a problem, nothing will happen to his wife as long as she regulates her diet well.  Almost all pregnant women experience it.

“Job alone, I'm already okay”. Donny is seen weighing, he wants to keep his wife but there are important meetings with clients coming from abroad. It could have been a representative meeting, but he felt disrespectful if he did not directly meet with clients who came from far away to establish cooperation with him.

“True, is it okay Mas Donny stay?” Mia nodded. They then turned their eyes to the door when it opened as if pushed in a hurry.

“Papa, Mom!” donny watched his parents come. The faces of his parents were beaming, they immediately approached Mia in bed, leaving their biological children.

“Iya, Pa”, replied Mia shyly. Johan could not hide his happiness. He laughed with pleasure. Likewise with Laura, the woman who was still very beautiful could not hide her happy smile.

They already have a granddaughter from Donny's older sister, a boy who is starting to grow up. But they want Donny's granddaughter and Mia's gonna get it. They were very happy to hear the news of her daughter-in-law's pregnancy and immediately went home to confirm the happy news.

“Do you eat well?” Laura asked who was now sitting on the bedside next to Mia.

“He doesn't eat well, Ma. He just spewed out all his entrails”. Donny who replied, Laura glanced at him annoyed.

“Mama spoke with Mia, not with kamu”. Mia felt the change in her in-laws attitude. Usually when they get together, the in-laws never want to talk to him and only talk to his son and husband.

“Mia eats well, Ma. Maybe Mia ate too much last night, so this morning Mia vomited everything”. Her mother-in-law stroked her hand gently.

“What do you want to eat now?” Mia felt a warmth radiating all over her body as Laura gently touched her hand. She looked at her in-laws to make sure it was her in-laws who said she didn't like Mia as her daughter-in-law.

Donny and his father looked at the interaction of the two women, then they similarly pulled the corner of his lips. Now Laura may have fully accepted Mia, not just because Donny or Johan wanted her. But because he was starting to want it too.

Eventually Donny was able to leave his wife. Her mother will take good care of Mia. Johan, who was ignored by his wife and daughter-in-law, followed Donny to the company and saw firsthand the state of the company he had left for several years.

“Thank you for wanting to conceive a child Donny”. Laura said sincerely. “You want to forgive Mama who may have hurt you”. Mia hugged her mother-in-law. Laura rubbed her back gently.

Mia was very moved because Laura finally accepted her as a daughter-in-law with all her heart. She felt a different embrace than usual, Laura's embrace was like the embrace of a Mother she had long missed.

 “You already feel better?” Mia nodded, “iya, Ma” she replied.

“Kita Shoping yes. Mama wants to buy whatever you want”. Face Mia direct pouting “why dear?” asked Laura who saw Mia's face change.

“Get out of bed only I can't, what else is shopping”. Laura chuckled, she found it funny to imagine her son who did not like to talk much was becoming possessive of his wife.

“We ask permission first then”. Mia nodded in agreement then took her phone on the nightstand. Laura took the phone from Mia “Why, Ma? I want to ask permission Mas Donny first”. Laura put Mia's phone back on the nightstand.

“We immediately ask for permission, no need via phone”. Mia frowned, not understanding her in-laws intent.

“we stop by the company first, new shoping”. Laura chuckled at Donny's reaction when she saw his wife coming with him. While Mia was smiling happily, she did want to buy something. She was bored in the room all day.

Bu Mira can't stop Mia when the one who brought Mia is the big madam. He just sighed hoping nothing would happen with them given the incident the other day where Mia's car was stopped by unknown people.

The two of them finally left with Laura driving. Leo was driving Donny and Johan. And also Leo did not know that his young mistress was going to leave the house today because his master still did not allow his wife to leave the house.
