Epis. 15 Guilt of Donny

Long enough to wait, the doctor who was waiting finally came too. Miss Mira let the doctor in. Donny stood up from where he was sitting giving the doctor room to check on Mia.

The doctor who was none other than Donny's cousin looked at him questioningly after seeing a bruise on the right cheek as well as a small wound on the corner of Mia's lip.

“You did it?” ask her with a squeak on the forehead. Donny took a rough breath in response to his cousin's question.  Doctor Rafael looked back at his cousin, this time his gaze increasingly made Donny covered in guilt. Everyone knows Donny values women very much.

Doctor Rafael then examined Mia with a stethoscope she had hung around her neck and then checked her pulse. Doctor Rafael again gave a look that was so piercing Donny's heart. “Didn't you feed him either?” doctor Rafael's question was successful in making Donny stunned and then looked at Mia guiltily.

“So morning Madam rushed to the office because it was too late he said, so did not have time for Tuan” breakfast, said Bu Mira hoping Donny did not blame himself too much. He also just saw Donny this time, according to him his master was also injured after injuring his wife with his own hands.

“He was just in shock and also limp”, Doctor Rafael said after checking Mia's condition. “And too long cold, did you also lock him in the bathroom?”, asked Doctor Rafael sarcas. The one in question just silently looked at his wife who was falling asleep limp in front of him guiltily.

“I'm sorry Sir, I'm ahead if you need something”, Ms. Mira thinks maybe Rafael wants to hear the reason Donny slapped Mia, so he left them.

“You why Don ? any problems ?” ask Dr. Rafael in succession.

Donny again sighed harshly before telling Rafael what had happened. Donny never hid anything from Rafael, for him Rafael is a brother, a friend who is always there whenever Donny needs him. And vice versa.

 Doctor Rafael sighed longingly at Donny's story, “just let him be angry Don, he's your wife, the woman you legally married. Naturally he is angry to see you bring another woman to the house where he also lives.” comments doctor Rafael.

“But we are not in that kind of relationship Raf, until he has to be that angry”, Donny said.

“Who could have guessed a woman's feelings, it's possible that she liked you since the beginning of”, the young doctor's opinion suddenly made Donny turn his eyes to his cousin, he said, then his gaze returned to the girl who was sleeping weakly before him.

“Cannot”, he said later. Donny remembers Mia's every behavior so far, always being in his own world is also impressed to keep a distance with him. There's no way Mia likes it like what Rafael's doctor said. And hopefully not or he'll get hurt.

“Do not hurt him”. Doctor Rafael patted his cousin on the shoulder before leaving him. “Do not forget to feed him”, he continued in between his steps.

Mia opened her eyes slowly, her head was dizzy and her body felt very weak. He glanced at Donny who was asleep on the bedside chair with his legs overlapping with his left hand supporting his head. Mia then glanced at the clock above the nightstand. Six o'clock in the morning. Mia then closed her eyes again and then fell asleep again, probably still under the influence of the drugs that Rafael gave her last night.

 “If there is an important file that I have to sign, you can bring it to Kari”, Donny orders the secretary Al. Donny leaves all the work to Al, he will be at home taking care of Mia until the woman is completely recovered.

“Good Tuan”. Al nodded obediently. “What else is it?” donny asked to see Al silent as if he wanted to say something.

“Is the mistress okay?”, she asked later. He remembered yesterday when he dropped off Mia, he knew that he was acting out of bounds, secretly Al regretted every word he said and also his actions to his Master's wife. But he put Donny above everything else. She was even prepared if Donny gave her punishment if one day Mia told her the lack of teachings. Whatever it is as long as it doesn't leave Donny, Al will accept it.

Donny raised next to his eyebrow, “since when did you care about him?”, Alfandi just kept quiet and lowered his head not knowing what he had to say to answer Donny.

“He's fine, thanks for worrying about it”, Donny patted his secretary's shoulder with a smile and left him still silently pecking.

Donny who saw Mia sitting leaning on the head of the bed as he entered the room accelerated his steps toward Mia.

“Why not lay”, ask gently and then fix the location of the pillow on Mia's back so that the girl feels more comfortable.

“ Mas, can you please grab a drink, I'm so thirsty”, pinta Mia with her weak voice. Donny took the glass over the nightstand that was already available with his straw. After Mia finished drinking it Donny kept the glass which had only slightly reduced its contents onto the nightstand.

“Thank you”, he said in a thin smile reply by Donny. Donny wanted to apologize for what he had done but stopped doing when he saw Mia who was still very weak. Donny pulls the blanket up to Mia's neck as the girl lies down. At a glance Donny looked at the corner of Mia's lips that were still injured, he took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. His regret really bothered him.

“Mas Donny not to the office?” mia asked still with her weak voice. It was ten in the morning but Donny was still in his casual clothes which made Mia ask.

“I'll take care of you here”,

“I'm fine, there's Bu Mira who will take care of me. Working mas aj”. Mia feels awkward alone with Donny in the room after the incident that night even though Donny did not discuss it at all.

“You evicted me?” tanyanya joking. Mia pulled the tip of her beer into a small smile. Donny saw it and smiled.

Donny has absolutely no objection to taking care of Mia even though this is the first thing he has done in his entire life, taking care of the sick, only to be overwhelmed by Mia's unwillingness to eat anything, Donny also couldn't bear to force her to eat. Fortunately, Rafael gave the best vitamins for his wife so that Mia's body did not drop too much because there was no food that entered her stomach since last night.
