Epis. 31 The same words

After dinner, Donny carried her back to the room. She was actually still upset with the girl, but seeing her limping path made her sense of unease evaporate and Mia was also no longer struggling as the man carried her. Donny sat him down on the sofa in the room as he asked.

“Why again, Mia”. The girl was uncomfortable with Fiona's attitude, her best friend never ignored her.

“I think the same Fiona”, Donny who had forgotten his frustration was sitting next to him. “I'll talk to Fiona tomorrow”, she said. The girl looked up at her husband, “thank you, Mas”.

As he promised Mia last night, today after lunch Donny called Fiona into his room. Fiona was so afraid Donny would scold her for the lack of teachings last night that just left.

One of Donny's secretaries opened the door for him and let him in. Donny was waiting for him.

“Please sit Fiona”, Fiona then sit on the long sofa in the room. She just hung down with fingers clasping her over her skirt. Donny placed the canned drink on the table he had just picked up from the freezer in his room.

“Thanks”.

“Mia is so sad you ignored her last night”, Donny said. Fiona raised her head to look at Donny one day before looking down again.

“I'm sorry, Tuan”. The man rested his back on the back of the sofa. “You can call me like Mia called me, Fiona. Mia thinks of you like her family, doesn't she? That means you are also my family”. Fiona rounded her eyes. ‘where I dare’, she whispered inwardly.

“I'm not mad at Mia, she must just feel bad about Alam”. Donny immediately put on his flat face as soon as Fiona mentioned the name, but he quickly controlled himself.

“We are high school friends in Bandung, and Alam deliberately studied in Jakarta to be close to Mia. But Mia only thinks of Nature as a friend, and that doesn't stop Nature from doing good to Mia. I can understand why Mia wants to forgive Clara”. Fiona.

Donny nodded in understanding. “Then you try Mia's phone, let her feel better” Donny said gently.

“Good, Tuan”. Donny takes a slow breath, he knows Fiona must be awkward calling him ‘Mas’.fiona leaves Donny's room between one of his secretaries.

Fiona then sends Mia a message like Donny said. They exchanged messages and forgot each other's frustration.

Alam had been waiting for Donny in the main lobby of the Oliver Group building. There was something she had to say to her friend's husband. Although his love was unrequited even after so many years, he still always cared about the girl.

She has been in love with Mia since they first met in High School, but by then Mia already has someone in her heart so she can only love him in silence. Even to fight for his love at that time he did not have any problems.

someone she loved was always looking after her well, treating her like a princess, protecting like that girl was precious. Mia of course loved that person very much.

Like a stroke of luck on her side, someone disappeared and broke the heart of the girl she loved. But too late, he still could not touch the girl's heart, and they had only remained good friends until now.

Nature approached Donny when she saw the man leaving the Oliver Group building with several people behind.

“Excuse me, Tuan”. Donny stopped his steps when Nature was right in front of him.

“There are things I want to talk about with you”, he said. Donny who is very polite to others somehow does not look like him. He ignored Nature and continued his steps.

“I beg you, just briefly”, he asked Donny.

Donny then looks at the people around him and asks them to leave him, except Alfandy. Donny lets Alam sit on the sofa in the Loby, after which he sits opposite Alfandy behind him.

“What do you want to talk about”, he asked in his flat voice.

“Sorry that I sassy”, the man was silent for a moment before continuing his words. “But I still have to say”.

“Live”, said Donny still with his flat voice.

“I don't know how you and Mia got married. But anyway I hope Mia is happy. He had been injured before, a wound that made him build a sturdy wall in his heart. No one can touch his heart even after so many years passed”. The man sighed again considering his struggle to destroy that wall.

Donny still heard it, he could see this man in front of him had a sincere love for his wife.

“Do not make him hurt, Sir. If you do, he probably won't be able to hold it a second time”. Nature smiled awkwardly. He knew the man in front of him was wearing a shirt, he gathered all of his energy before venturing out to meet him.

 When you saw Donny's attention to Mia yesterday, Nature could judge that the man loved Mia. He was also surprised to see Mia who was not awkward and spoiled at a man. Mia did not treat him like that just yet, always keeping her distance.

She was sure Mia had already opened her heart to her husband. But as with her husband, does he really love her.

“Thank you for your time”, he said sincerely. “And also thank you for keeping Mia well”.

“It's been my obligation”. Donny then left Alam and walked away from the Oliver Group building. Although his face looks flat, but his mind is disturbed by what Nature says.

His memory then turned to Doctor Renata, the Doctor Mia introduced to him at that time. Doctor Renata's words at that time were exactly the same as what Nature had told him earlier. ‘the girl kept the wound. As deep as what wounds have scratched his heart, and who is the one who has given them to him’.

Donny continued to monologue with himself until he realized now the car had been parked perfectly in front of the main door. Al who came home with him opened the car door for him.

“Master, we've reached”, his consciousness returns as soon as Al calls him.

“Thanks Al”. They then entered the house together.

“How's Mia, Bu?” Mira takes the suit, which Donny holds, but Donny rejects it with a gesture. “They are fine, Tuan”, he replied politely.

“Do you want to bring something, Mister?”

“No, thanks, Mom. Please continue the work of Bu Mira”.

“Good Tuan”. Donny went straight to his room, for some reason he wanted to see his wife. While Al was in the workspace tidying up the documents that had been in the arrangement when Donny said he wanted to go home.
