Epis. 27 Meet old friends

On the highest floor of the building, a large meeting was held suddenly. Donny asked all the company officials who were in the city to attend the meeting. He wants to acquire one of the airlines in the country that is experiencing bankruptcy.

Donny never made a decision based solely on his personal wishes, he always asked the elders' opinions first. Donny heard feedback about the benefits and the legality they might get if they took over the airline.

As the meeting was going on, Alfandy who was sitting behind Donny clucked in annoyance as his phone did not stop ringing. Irritatedly, he asked Donny for permission to leave the room to receive a phone call that was quite disturbing.

Alfandy hurriedly entered the room making everyone look at him. He whispered something to his master.

Donny stood up from his seat making everyone stand up. “Sorry, we postpone”, he said. “My mouth, Al”, the order.

 Donny's steps stopped to see Mia who looked very sad. His hands were clenched firmly, his dark irises staring intently and his reddened face held in anger. He walked slowly closer. Then suddenly a man walked quickly ahead of him. The man was surprised to see who the girl sitting in front of the police was. Just like Donny, his hands were also clenched firmly.

“Mia..”. Reprove the man. Mia turned to look at the man who called her gently. He smiled at the man, then his gaze turned to the figure behind the man. Mia who saw the terrifying aura of the two men tried to smile sweetly to show that she was fine. But vain. The wounds on his arms and legs as well as the blood that dried on his temples did not indicate that he was okay.

“We went to hospital”, Mia couldn't resist because Donny directly carried her. The man was surprised not to play, and the woman who owned the car was no less surprised. They know who was holding Mia, and what she has to do with her.

“Urus everything, Al”, his orders in a cold voice. Al could guess from his voice, right now his master was holding back the anger that was bubbling within him. Alfandy then contacts Aaron, Oliver Group's lawyer.

Nature stared intently at his wife, who was staring back with the same anger. The man who comes along with Donny is Alamsyah Wijaya, a young lawyer who has just started his professional career. And his wife is Clara Marisa Rafiq, the woman who owned the car that was hit by a motorcycle taxi carrying Mia.

Clara has always hated Mia, her hatred never goes away even when she gets what she wants. And now seeing her husband still seem to care about the girl especially that Donny Adriano had a relationship with him made her hate the girl even more.

“You deliberately”, accuse Nature of seeing how the haughty face looked at her.

“You still care about her?”, instead of answering, Clara accused her husband instead. The man took his breath out violently. She always tried to accept Clara in her life even though she never loved her because Mia was the only love of her life.

“I'll take care of everything here”. The man left her with his anger, dai did not want to make a fuss in a public place and moreover this was a police station.

While in the hospital, Mia falls asleep after receiving treatment from Doctor Rafael. Leo enters Mia's ward with two other men.

“What you guys do. Why Mia can get on the motorcycle again Leo, is not your job to deliver him”. At this time Donny is eager to hit the people in charge of guarding his wife, but he can still control his emotions well even though his chest is rumbling.

“Inspardon us, Tuan”. Said one of the men who was in charge of taking Mia from a distance.

“So the Madam is out having lunch with her two friends, Sir. So I didn't follow him, but it turns out that Madam's friend didn't drive him back to the Company. I'm sorry Tuan”. Leo looked down, not daring to look at Donny.

“A woman,Master. Clara Marisa Rafiq, daughter of Mr. Rafiq owner Rafiq Textil”.

“Rafiq Textil?, don't we have cooperation with them?”

“True, Sir. Rafiq Textil supplies all the fabric needs of our hotel in this city. Also other branches outside the city”, explained Alfandy.

“What does this have to do with Mia?”

“I'm still investigating, Tuan”. Suddenly the door to Mia's nursery is opened hard, Fiona enters first after Alex. Fiona did not see Donny sitting on the sofa in the room. Alex who saw Donny bowed respectfully to him.

“Mi, you why?”, Fiona asked in panic. Mia who heard Fiona's voice from her subconscious slowly opened her eyes.

“Fiona”, Fiona hugs Mia, she is very panicked when she is told about Mia who had an accident, she is really afraid that past events will reoccur. But seeing Mia's condition that was not as severe as in her shadow made her very moved.

“Nothing, Fi”. Mia said to calm down the crying Fiona.

Fiona followed Mia's gaze and immediately stood up from her seat while wiping away the tears that were still on her cheeks.

Donny noticed Fiona's reaction, and the girl cried knowing Mia was okay. Although Mia had experienced accidents before, her mind wondered.

Donny never asks Alfandy or Leo to investigate Mia's background or the girl's past, he believes in her father. And also so far, there has never been anything suspicious of the girl.

“Sorry, Mi. we should have sent you earlier”. When Alex's voice comes out, she feels guilty for letting Mia go home alone.

“It’s ok, I'm okay kok”. The girl smiled showing that she was okay.

“What meeting is done”, he asked with his plain face. No one answered the question. Alex and Fiona looked down, while the man sitting on the sofa was staring at him sharply, making him look down too.
