Epis. 5 Meetings with Fiona

“You just resign from where you work now, Donny can set a better position for you in the company.” Johan said at dinner.

“No need Om, ehh Pa. Mia comfortable working in the place now.” Reject Mia gently.

“Again you do not want to be known as Donny's wife, if you work in the company and immediately hold a high position what will be said people.” Said Laura who strongly disapproved of this marriage.  Just like at the hotel, Donny gave Mia her bed, while she slept on the large sofa in the room.

Mia can sleep well anywhere, while it's comfortable for her. She's not afraid Donny will do bad things to her because they're bound by a pact. Same is the case with Donny who is not at all disturbed by the presence of Mia.

The clock on the nightstand showed at seven in the morning, Mia squirming a little before finally opening her eyes, she saw Donny who was tidying his hair in front of the mirror. Mia suddenly rose from her sleep, after her consciousness was intact she only realized that she was now a wife and there was someone else sleeping in the same room with her. What he did yesterday when he woke up. Convincing herself that for six months she was the wife of a man who she thought was stingy and arrogant, when only two days they became a married couple but Mia had pinned the call to her husband.

“I wait below, ten more minutes we will take Mama and Papa to the airport.” Mia was silent for a moment before finally running towards the bathroom.

Mia had not brought all her clothes when she moved to Oliver's house, a short-sleeved white shirt paired with a knee-length jeans skirt was her choice to drive her in-laws to the airport making her look very girly. Very far from the impression of the young mistress of a wealthy family.

“Do you have no other clothes.” Laura protested seeing the appearance of her daughter-in-law. Rather than being a wife, Mia's appearance may be more suited to Donny's younger sister.  Mia glanced at Donny asking her husband to answer for her.

“Don remember that now you are married, do not ever meet Natasya again.” Whisper Johan as Donny hugs him. Donny just being quiet not saying anything makes Johan a little worried about Mia. Johan and Laura then pass after someone informs her that her private jet is ready to fly.

“Where are you going?”

“You met Finona.”

“Let me take you.”

“Heem.” The black sedan car was passing at a fast speed towards a cafe where Mia and Fiona made an appointment to meet.

“I'll have Alfandy pick you up.” Mia nodded quickly.

“No need, I went home with Fiona aja.” Mia got down and closed the car door regardless of Donny still wanting to say something. Donny was speechless seeing Mia's disrespectful attitude towards him. No one has ever treated him like that. Donny returned to his car feeling a little upset.

“But kangen.” Mia and Fiona embrace each other and miss each other after not seeing each other for a few days, only exchanging news through a short message or video call. On her wedding day, Fiona was on a business trip out of the area.

“So when do you start working again?” Fiona asked while breaking down a hug.

“Besok”. Java Mia.

“In can be with your husband”. Fiona Ledek. Mia rolled her eyes irritated.

“Don't mention husband deh.” His protest. “You know I agree because there is an agreement and also for the sake of grandmother so that she wants to follow uncle and aunt to Malasyia.” Further.

“Iya yes, know kok”. Fiona then feeds a spoonful of ice cream into Mia's mouth to muffle her best friend's irritation.

“So for six months you will stay there?” Ask Fiona again.

“Heemm.” Answer Mia briefly. “But I will often return to the contract, then you”. Entertain Mia to see a sad look on Fiona's face.

“You know not Fi, he says I can't touch anything that isn't mine.” Mia's words made Fiona laugh out loud.
