The queue in the female toilet was quite long. Therefore, Zahira undoes the intention to urinate for fear of making Juan wait too long. After all, it can still be detained, not yet to the urgent one.
Turning around, Zahira walks back to the place where she last parted ways with Juan-the cashier's desk. However, when he was looking for Juan there, apparently the man was no longer there.
"Cepet is also the cashier's mother who works, even though Juan's groceries are a piece." Babe Zahira, he chuckles to himself when he remembers the absurd things that Juan bought. He was sure, almost more than 50 percent of the items would end up unused. Well, it's a little bit wrong also because it doesn't help to stop before it's faster.
Still watching, Zahira walked towards the entrance where she and Juan had agreed to meet there.
On the way, before reaching the front door, Zahira stopped. Not because he had discovered Juan's existence, but because his eyes caught the presence of another figure who felt familiar. A tall body posture that is slightly not firm, jet black hair that has long touched the neck, also the flagship leather jacket that Zahira once knew belonged to whom.
Doubt was felt, but Zahira convinced himself many times that he was not looking wrong. Hurriedly, before the figure passed from his sight, Zahira ran over.
Fortunately today he wore a sneaker, so his footsteps could be more sat-set than when he was wearing pantofel or flat shoes.
"Bas!" he shouted, when he saw the figure had almost punched the elevator door in front of him.
The figure, Baskara, turned his head and clearly looked surprised to find who had called his name. A dark blue hooded girl who was running was shoved towards him.
"I know I don't recognize people wrong." Zahira said with a big smile when she reached Baskara.
Instead of answering, Baskara instead expressed his gaze with a cautious heart. He was forced to get out of the cage to buy himself some household necessities because the Blue was pat. He deliberately chose a shopping center that he thought would not be possible to be visited by Reno or Juan because the location was quite far from the residence of the two of them. But apparently, Baskara forgot to consider Zahira.
"I'm alone." Zahira's statement succeeded in making Baskara turn his head again. "Well, not really alone, anyway. There's Juan, but he's waiting outside." Errata.
"That means Juan can come here anytime." Baskara. He was still on guard, his gaze still going around, keeping watch in case Juan came from an unexpected direction.
"No, not." Zahira. "He's got me going to the toilet."
For some time, Baskara was silent. He looked at the little girl in front of him, then he sighed softly. "Gue doesn't want to see anyone again, so please tell me the secret about you meeting me now." Her request.
"Safe." Zahira. "I just want mastiin if I didn't see wrong, and all you want to make sure if you're in a good condition even though.." he paused, just to observe Baskara's appearance more closely. Compared to the last time they met five years ago, Baskara looks a lot thinner. The expression on his face was no longer the same, not as friendly as before when Juan heavily approached him - where Baskara was always a hurrah team that enlivened the atmosphere.
"Out of the undead, right?"
Zahira raised her head quickly, glued for a moment to the smile that Baskara was smiling at, then shook her head slowly. "I know you're getting better now. The proof is that you want to go back to Jakarta."
Baskara laughed heartily. If you say the condition is good, it is not entirely true. But, indeed, he has to admit that his condition is much better than in previous years.
"Bag,"
Baskara straightened the corners of her lips. He looked at Zahira fixedly, waiting patiently for the woman to continue her sentence.
"Go back to Juan, whenever you're ready." Said the woman, laced with a smile whose sincerity reaches also to her two sparkling eyeballs. "He's not going anywhere, he's going to be in his place to welcome you home."
Although it seemed that Baskara had a lot of vocabulary to say, the man preferred to just nod his head in response.
"Gue must turn, Blue needs me." Then it was the parting sentence he said, in a much calmer state of heart.
Zahira welcomed the saying as something good. Because he knew the man would come back. Not when. Either tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, or it may even take weeks. Clearly, Zahira knew Baskara would not run anywhere else. He had gone home, to the place where he was supposed to go.
"Be careful on the road, greetings to Sabiru." And just like that, the short meeting stopped there.
Zahira waited until Baskara entered the elevator, staying in position until the elevator door closed and the indicator light showed the iron object had moved down.
...🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁...
Waiting to have a wait, Zahira did not return. It has been almost 20 minutes, a rather unnatural span of time if only just to urinate in a shopping center that is only 4 floors. In fact, any amount of time, 20 minutes seems too much.
Not used to letting his girlfriend disappear too long from the radar, Juan decided to follow. The bag of groceries that spread he left to the security officer, while slipping two pieces of one hundred thousand dollars so that the security guard worked more sincerely to keep his groceries. After that, he rushed back inside the shopping mall.
Juan ran towards the elevator, but when he saw the indicator light that was still upstairs, he was lazy to wait. Finally he chose to take the escalator alone, although still he had to run around to get to the third-floor floor where he parted with Zahira.
Two times on the escalator, Juan finally arrived. He walked to the toilet and tried to call Zahira.
"Not lifted?" here when the waiting tone on his phone ended up breaking up without a chance to have an answer. Three more times he tried, and the result was still so.
Now, his panic level had already risen drastically. The phone he didn't pick up was no longer ignored. Already so, he also did not care for the women who were staring strangely when he barged into the female toilet.
"Male toilet over there, Mas." Tegur seroang female janitor who is always stand by in the female toilet to ensure cleanliness.
Juan looked over, "I'm looking for my girlfriend. He went to the toilet, but I waited 20 minutes and didn't go back." He said, again he turned his head on every open room, hoping that someone who came out of there was Zahira.
However, his front was dashed as all the rooms changed inhabitants, and he found absolutely no Zahira there.
Juan's attention then turned to the blonde woman as her back. Come to think of it, there is a point as well. But the problem is, Zahira did not pick up her phone at all. That's what makes him worry.
"Mas mending down to the information center just ask the officer to help find his girlfriend." The janitor's proposal.
Feeling like he had no other choice, and he was also being stared at by the women who were waiting in line to use the toilet, Juan decided to take the advice.
"Thank you" he said, then he hurried off.
Juan's swing was getting wider and in a fast tempo. Until then, he braked suddenly when from a distance, he saw a woman in a dark blue hood standing in front of the elevator whose door was almost closed-close to him. Juan was sure it was Zahira. In addition to his posture, the outfit that the woman was wearing was also almost nothing equal. So without a second thought, Juan immediately ran over.
"Za!" his yell. Afraid that Zahira will even get into the elevator and they have to be cats again.
The called turned his head, presenting a innocent face without sin that immediately made Juan want to bite him until the cheek was finished by him. He was already flat-footed, but his lover instead stood relaxed like nothing had ever happened.
"Hi," said the girl. Juan did not return the greeting, instead pulled Zahira's arm and brought the woman closer.
"Where are you from, anyway? I'm waiting for you in front but you didn't come, so I'm not calling you at all!" Juan is half emotional. Not angry anyway, but rather to feel excited at Zahira who lost like a boy who escaped from his mother's arms.
"You call me?" innocently, Zahira pointed at her own face. When Juan nodded, he reached into the pocket of the skirt he was wearing to check his phone. Sure enough, there were four missed calls from Juan. "Oh my goodness, silent mode is active, like it's not accidentally messed up."
"Goddessaaa...." Juan deliberately lengthened the end of the word to add to the exaggerated effect. "You're freaking me out, you know? I thought you were drowning in a closet."
"Hello!" Zahira nagged back. "I'm a man, time drowned in the closet?"
"Who knows, you are small. This." Gurau Juan showed Mama's finger-patch of salt to show how small Zahira was in her eyes.
"No body shamming!" Zahira protested while scowling.
Seeing that, Juan chuckled. "Where can I be angry, huh, if you're always this cute?" he said while pinching slowly Zahira's cheek.
"Don't pinch, it'll stretch!"
"What cheek is rubber, how does it stretch?" juan Goda.
Zahira did not respond to the joke. He also fell silent for now, he only thought of one thing: did Juan get to see him chatting with Baskara? Given the distance of time from Baskara berampit with the arrival of Juan only a few seconds difference.
"Ju, man,"
"Hmm?"
"Who were you.. Did you see who I was here with?" ask carefully.
Asked that, Juan looked confused. "meaning? Who were you here with? I saw that you were alone, waiting for the elevator. But the elevator closed and you didn't go in. Maybe because it's full, huh?"
That answer made Zahira sigh in relief. Doesn't that mean Juan didn't get to see Baskara?
"You want to know, don't you?" he asked again, a prank idea flashed in his head.
"What?" and innocently, Juan took the pass he gave.
"I wasn't alone, Ju." He said, the longer the sound the slower, so Juan was getting closer to his head to hear better.
"So far, who's the same?"
"Granny, Ju. Her hair was covered, the color was all white. She wears the same dark grey kebaya as a light brown batik skirt. Her teeth are reddish orange, betel marks." Start making it free.
Juan listened seriously, though technically he didn't really believe in ghosts.
Then when the mood is quiet....
"YAHOO!!!" Zahira knew how to shake Juan, making the man jerk while stroking his own chest.
Zahira's laughter was explosive, boisterous like fireworks lit to enliven the celebration of the new year.
"You're funny if you're surprised, Ju!" he said while holding the stomach that began to feel cramped because of laughing for too long.
"Basic nosy." Instead of being angry about being bullied, Juan just gave a light jolt to his lover's forehead as a punishment. "His laugh, we have to sneak home." Invite later. Without waiting any longer, he clasped the armband in Zahira's hand. They walked side by side down the escalator, with Zahira still occasionally laughing at the shocked Juan and Juan completely unaware that it was all a diversion.
