Aryan continued to drive his car through the streets of daylight that was not too crowded. His face did not show any expression at all, making Mika remember How Aryan when he was angry.
The girl occasionally glanced at Aryan. "Where exactly is he taking me?" that was always Mika's question along the way.
The car kept going fast. Entering the toll that will take them towards the outside of the city. Where exactly is Aryan going to take him.
Eight hours have passed. Currently Aryan's car is already in the address that has since become the destination.
So that not long ago the car stopped in front of a restaurant. Made Mika frown small on her forehead. Why did Aryan bring her to that place.
After Aryan parked his car, the man opened the door of Mika's car and invited her to get out of the car. Mika only complied without asking again even though there was actually a question that was in her mind.
"Sit down" muttered Aryan while pulling out a chair for Mika.
Mika still decided to shut up. He just wanted to know exactly what purpose Aryan had brought him to this place. In fact, they had to pass about eight hours of travel just to stop by at the restaurant that used to often be where Mika ate after school when she was still a child.
Aryan called one of the employees and ordered a gudeg typical of the city. Because he was curious about the purpose of Aryan who brought him to this place, Mika finally decided to open her voice.
"What did you bring me here for?" mika asked while looking at Aryan who still did not show any expression.
Hearing the question that was thrown from Mika's mouth made Aryan turn towards her. "Do you know what place this is?" instead of answering, Aryan asked back. Makes Mika feel annoyed to hear her husband's behavior.
"Eating place" he replied
"If you already know where to eat why still ask"
"Yes I don't mean like that. It means that just to eat why we have to come all the way here. It is very far from Jakarta. Eating at the restaurant this morning can be"
Aryan silently did not answer. The man suddenly stared at Mika's two eyeballs and made the girl's heart beat very fast. Even faster than normal limits in general.
"Why do you see me like that? Is there something wrong with my appearance?, instead of answering my question even mengeliatin me like that" Mika grumbled while looking in another direction.
However, suddenly Aryan again did the thing that made his heart more timid. How not, Aryan was currently grasping Mika's hand and looking at her so deeply. Both of her eyes seemed to want to explain things that Mika still did not understand.
"The color of just this place will make you remember some of the memories you've forgotten" Aryan replied in the end.
The man continued to stare at Mika's two eyeballs. Making Mika increasingly clueless with the feelings Aryan had.
Mika swallowed her saliva while trying to act ordinary when her heart almost jumped from its place. "God. Why did I just realize that this place is my favorite place when it was still the age of smp"batin Mika while adjusting her breath.
"I hope you can remember a little bit about this place"
...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...
Marvin sits on one of the long chairs in one of the city parks. His look looked very sad. Although the place still looks there are some people passing by, but Marvin feels very lonely. Especially after hearing what Aryan said at the restaurant this morning.
It's been two hours. However, Marvin was still reluctant to leave the place. Sometimes Marvin looks around the park that makes him remember every incident of mass that he passed along with Mika while still sitting on the bench of High School.
Marvin and Mika used to spend time together in this place every time they came home from school. But that only happened while they were still in class X. Because after taking Xl class, Mika never again wanted to spend time with him as usual. There's always a reason Mika gives every time Marvin asks her.
"Mika, why is it like this? Why should I hear if you and Aryan are a married couple. Why have you never said this before" muttered Marvin who sounded very soft.
His heart beat painfully as he remembered the strand of the sentence Aryan had uttered. Even if it was just a few words, however, the pain was incredible. Because Marvin's feelings for Mika are as big and deep as that.
...****************...
It's getting late afternoon. Along the way to the hotel, Mika was silent. The girl looked out the window. Still remembering what happened a moment ago.
After finishing eating at Mika's restaurant, Somehow Aryan brought Mika back to something that made Mika frown more.
Why not, because all this time Mika never said where the location of the tomb of her parents. But why can Aryan take her Mika to the final resting place of both her parents.
It made a million questions in his mind. How can Aryan know the tomb of his mother and father.
Right after they reached the grave of Zoya's mother and Bhishma's father, Aryan said it was the tomb of both of his parents.
"Mica. Maybe you can't remember the memories in the restaurant. This is the tomb of your parents, Mika. Hopefully you can remember them" Aryan muttered as he glanced at Mika who was already speechless.
I want Mika to cry. To be honest, he misses both of his parents. After almost four years leaving the city of Jogja, finally today Mika can again set foot in the nutrition of both parents. The place that used to be always the place to complain.
Mika looked at Aryan. It was like he was asking how could Aryan know about this place? But that Mika unravels because she is still reminded of the mission of pretending to forget the memory she is doing.
"Mika come down, we've arrived" the voice resuscitated Mika from the incident a moment ago after coming out of the restaurant.
"Where are we?"
"In my hotel. No need to ask too much, come down. Looks like you should take a shower soon"
"Why indeed? I don't seem to want to take a shower, The air is so cold" Mika replied as she exited the car.
"I don't want to sleep with someone who doesn't shower and smells like you" Aryan stepped out of her legs leaving Mika speechless. It seemed that the girl was still trying to digest the sentence that was thrown from her husband's mouth.
