Two Love Belongs to Zahira (Part My Wife!)
278. The most comfortable place

"I need a minute." Zahira sat back in her husband's oversized soft chair.

"All right." Jia came back out, and there was Ricky outside who would not have come home if Zahira had not left the office.

Zahira began to open a map bearing the name Radit, slowly but then the first sheet had appeared in bold print, PENANG MALAYSIA.

Zahira grew curious so he opened the next sheet, a medical description that explained that Raditya was severely depressed, in treatment for more than six months. Zahira read it seriously, until the next few sheets.

"That means Radit suffered a lot back then, if I went into a coma and almost died, Radit suffered too. Six months is not a short time." he murmured in a tight breath, not expecting any of it.

His smooth hands again flipped through the paper whose arrangement still looked quite thick.

Zahira re-opened the sheets, all explaining Radit's health development while in care, until finally declared cured, almost simultaneously with Zahira's return from Singapore at that time.

The next leaf, bearing the name of a Jakarta hospital.

"Jakarta Hospital?" Zahira seemed to think. "I don't remember Radit ever getting sick." Zahira muttered to herself again, forgetting the time to read the sheets of paper. Not even aware Jia and Ricky opened the door and looked at it for a moment.

"What did he read?" ricky asked Jia.

"Raditya Mr. Files." Jia looked at Ricky as well as the other way around, they were thinking of something.

"Maybe it's time" said Ricky later, leaning against the wall of Zahira's room.

Jia did not reply, only remaining silent with a sharp gaze in any direction. Let Ricky back peek at the slightly open door.

Zahira still looked serious, but then her clenched hand lifted shut her open mouth with her sad eyes and it seemed like she was crying.

Ricky came right in, he thought it was going to happen.

For a moment, he did not speak, letting the woman down and cry.

"Om know?" zahira asked slowly, her sobs started to subside but her chest was still going up and down.

Ricky took a deeper breath. "Yes" he answered later. "I'm the one looking for information on Radit, everything." Ricky explained.

"Why not tell me this? Do you and Mom know?" zahira looked at Ricky.

"Yes." replied Ricky.

Zahira lowered her head back, she was thinking that all this time she was really evil. Had kept his children away from Radit, and was hostile to him when he visited. It was inconceivable that he was also suffering, and Zahira was saying words that would often hurt his heart.

"Then why didn't anyone tell me, I should have taken care of her feelings as well." Zahira closed the file in her hand, occasionally wiping away tears.

"Because at that time, you were pregnant. Aggara doesn't want you to think much, even though sometimes he feels guilty about your separation, Radit wasn't entirely guilty at that time." Ricky spoke slowly.

"I don't regret our separation, because Mas Anggara really loves me." replied Zahira glancing at the photo displayed on the table.

"I know." Ricky grabbed a chair and sat opposite Zahira. "But you and Radit are also victims of someone who is too ambitious. You both suffer, he's not happy Zahira! You're more fortunate to have been happy with Anggara, whereas Radit never was, he still regrets his separation from you to this day."

Ricky's words made clear Zahira's eyes were staring at him.

"He never fell in love with you other than you. Just like your husband, he only loves your mother until he finds you and makes you his last love, and death picks him up for you."

"Of." Zahira cried again, even though she was crying for what, but now her heart was hurt again.

"One lives to fulfill the promise we have received before we were born. And when all is paid off, our lives are finished. Look now we are alive, breathing and healthy. That's because there are still many tasks that we haven't completed, including making the people around us happy."

Zahira covered her face with two palms.

"The most comfortable place for you is to go back to your family Zahira, your mother, your father, Radit brother and the one who always loved you. Be assured that your children will have complete happiness. No one rejects them in your home, no one will hate them in your family. They'll be safe, they'll be happy, you'll have a whole family, even without Anggara" Ricky told Zahira.

"I don't want to replace my husband with anyone Om, he's everything." Zahira spoke with tears flowing back.

"You don't replace Zahira, she'll stay in your heart. Everyone knows that, and you are already tied to his two proud sons. They are the true treasures of Anggara, he desperately wants them to come into this world through you, and his desires are fulfilled."

Zahira is absolutely heartbroken to remember the loss, but now her grief is growing again with the fact that Radit is not okay either. It felt like wailing with all his might. Especially considering Ayu and David, the two people must be at home, looking after and loving Satria and Sadewa.

"We go home" he said, grabbing the bag and leaving all the files on his desk. He did not care, the most important thing for him was to go home and meet his parents who always loved without fatigue, until they were adults and married they were still there.

Maybe now is the time to make them happy, return the affection they always receive without ever asking for a reply. Men who always pamper and had heart disease because of his loss, also women who bear a lot of burden for always loving him and his biological children, trying always fair, trying always strong, always strong, try to always be okay. Not only tears, but his heart may be more broken when the two children he raised had to separate. Zahira was impatient to meet them.

Jia escorted him into the elevator and then headed for the car with Ricky who would drive his car in the back.

"I want to get to Jia soon" said Zahira rubbing tears on her cheeks.

"Yes." Yeah." Jia started his car and started to drive, letting Zahira lean back by looking at the darkening sky, the sound of Adzan reverberating melodiously signifying the Night has come.

Zahira opened her phone which was ringing.

Reza's name was listed there, after the incident that day he never appeared again. But all of that made Zahira realize that the safest and most comfortable place for her was her own home. There's no in-laws there, no words of father-in-law in it, there's no jealousy there, no one's going to hurt each other in it, as Ricky said.
