168. Obstinately

Silent, they sat with each other silent. David and Ayu did not speak, they were waiting for what made the two people in front of him look tense.

"Father!" zahira said half-strapped, bowing and squeezing his own lentic finger.

"Yes, honey." David was tense with the air suddenly frozen.

"I want to manage my company, starting next week" he said slowly, hesitating but impressed with the necessity.

David did not answer.

"I'm sorry, I didn't tell Papa and Mama before, but I really wanted to work and. I seemed to work at Mom's company better." Zahira still seemed to be squeezing her own finger.

"But that's not what we're going to talk about, honey." Anggara.

"Yes, but I've wanted to talk about this for a long time" he said nervously. Obviously he was lying.

"The company is yours, the finances and management are held entirely by your secretary, Tina. You are free to take it at any time, as well as other assets. All your money is still in the name of your father and mother. No one can take it but you, not even Papa ever wears it." David convinces Zahira not to hesitate to manage his own, but he still feels there is something else.

Anggara massaged his own forehead with Zahira's statement, feeling that it didn't need to happen.

"What the hell is going on? Is it impossible if Anggara is bankrupt?" Ayu stared in full search.

"Of course not!" Anggara.

"Then?"

"My mother has a half-brother, currently in Indonesia although not settled at first, but she often came since hearing the presence of my son. And lately he's been coming home twice." Anggara paused for a moment.

"Is he taking your treasure?" Ayu was already impatient to listen to his explanation.

"Not yet, but he wanted it." replied Anggara.

"Papa knows." David doesn't want to hear Zahira mention their Two Heroes.

"If he wants your money, why don't you just give it to him." Ayu gave advice.

"I've suggested it!" Zahira glanced at Anggara, hinting that her husband had not agreed.

David and Ayu stared at Anggara at the same time, they really wanted to find an answer soon.

"It's not that easy. He's a black business man, gambling, women, drugs and more. If I give all my treasure to him then he will rule with all his abominations. All schools, hospitals and educational faculties will be the main target to become more smooth business. Many women will be tricked by him, many lowly servants are forced to obey his evil deeds, and many more things that are not appropriate will happen. I can't allow that." Anggara slightly frowned.

"But I don't want you to sacrifice our family, I can't live without you, especially if he targets Satria and Sadewa!" Zahira expressed concern.

"Is there no choice?" zahira was confused.

"Papa will be with you." David tries to calm Zahira down.

"I will face it, after all I am ready, prepared for five years ago when the man came to Indonesia."

"Did he start a business here?" Ayu became more curious.

"Business with your ex, Anwar. He's the one who feeds the funds when I withdraw the shares." Anggara explained.

"Anwar? Where do they know each other?" Ayu became even more astonished.

"If you play dark business, you will know Daniel as the great boss in power. And lately I heard Anwar is free, and is trying to free your son-in-law. Ricky's defending the charges right now." Anggara explained everything.

"I think they're close enough." David.

"Or we just go to London, there's Mama Alisa and my cousin!" Zahira seemed to have an answer.

"If it's the best, then you and the kids are leaving." Anggara clasped Zahira's hands gently.

"You're stubborn!" Zahira withdrew her hand and moved from her seat.

"Darling!" Anggara grabbed the hand again, but free to go into the room, his face looked annoyed and angry.

"Can't you just obey what your wife asks?" Ayu felt that Zahira's proposal had a point.

"The problem won't be solved just by running." Anggara replied slowly, his heart was not calm Zahira sulked.

"I know, but this is for the sake of your two children. They need comfort, they're still too small." Ayu tries to persuade Anggara.

Anggara took a breath. "I was thinking about it." Anggara replied, turning his head to the door of the room being closed. "We'd better eat, I'll persuade Zahira." Anggara moved from his seat.

"What should we do?" ask Ayu to David who has been thinking more.

"We take Sadewa and Satria" he answered briefly and glared away.

"You sure?" ask Ayu to think of something.

"Yes, I think Anggara is still very protective of his son. And from now on we're taking over to keep the kids safe from Daniel's targets. I don't think she'll know we're Grandpa and Grandma, because we never changed Zahira's identity as Reva and Aldo's daughter." David looked at Ayu with certainty.

"Hopefully." Ayu agrees.

Of course it's nice if the twins stay in their house, it will be very entertaining for Ayu who has been at home since Radit came home and replaced him. Feeling to be a grandfather and grandmother completely after the presence of Satria and Sadewa, of course, they were the only hope of David and Ayu.
