Meridian sent Herdian back to help Andaru. Now he sat alone, looking at the void of the castle knowing that all the demons in the world would move in one flick of his hand.
His hand moved to caress Dion's black feathers. Listening to Luke snore softly on his shoulder.
Their feelings reached Meridian. There is fear, love, loyalty, longing and great lust mixed in.
Not only them, Lumiel's feelings were conveyed in great detail to her.
False Meridians never lie.
The red devil is lying. He deliberately did not say so that Meridian would become king and remain in this world. But, he doubted. He was worried and scared.
Also ....
"You both know I'm not that girl."
Both of them sounded like crying.
"But I told you, I like you both." Meridians rubbed them and felt the calmness they felt. "Stop loving something disgusting. There are so many girls who can accept you. The girl who is just scared and never tries to accept the situation is not the girl you deserve."
Meridians could also see memories of Dion's feelings. Maybe this is what Lumiel used to call a sensation can give information.
Never once did Dion touch the False Meridian. So did Luke. But there was an incident where Dion was so jealous of Andaru, then threw the Meridian body onto the bed.
The black mana around Dion was oozing out, looking berserk despite not hurting anything. Ever since that incident, Meridian was scared. He felt disgusted because even if they were cousins, they were brothers living in the same family.
Meridians knew it was natural for a normal girl to be frightened. For him, for his belief, it is impossible for a cousin to love his cousin. However, the way he treated Dion was too excessive as if Dion had mutilated him.
That led Dion to go crazy. They both did wrong.
"Andaru doesn't like that girl." Meridian rubbed Luke's head. "But he begged a man who didn't like him just to be free of you. That girl doesn't deserve your loyalty."
Both snore in response.
"Your Majesty."
The demon he commanded sought Reuben back. He appeared on his knees, complete with clothes featuring a high standing.
Meridian does not know its name. But he knew this man.
"Say."
"That man is in the Eastern Continent, Your Majesty. They are preparing a large enough army. There was a strange liquid they mass-produced. The people who were moving to produce it were black magicians. The surrounding area of the production site is protected by a sturdy barrier. In my conclusion, that liquid is dangerous to ordinary witches."
"Prince?"
"Being in the holy kingdom. No definite movement yet."
"Is there a chimera produced?"
"That strange liquid is made of thawed chimeras, Your Majesty."
"I understand. Good job."
"Thank you."
He disappeared.
The meridian went from his chair until Dion and Luke jumped down. They automatically changed back, using clothes that Meridians did not know from where.
Does the army all have their own clothes?
"Let's go."
For now, the Meridian will ascertain the terrain.
The portal opened, and he stepped in with the two of them. In just a blink of an eye the Meridians arrived at the Marquis residence.
"Meridians!"
A voice that has not been heard for a long time.
Meridians turned to look at the two human children who were running towards him excitedly. The two of them nearly hugged her, but the Meridians spontaneously bound them in the air.
"Wow." Both are amazed. "Hey, you're different! Eyes changed! Is that magic too?"
"Dion, Luke! You're back!"
There was no demon blood in these two children. Meridian thought they were bleeding demons too because her mother Dion was their mother.
"You guys okay?"
Litea and Litae raised their hands even though their positions were reversed. "We're fine!"
"But I heard from my friend that a war is coming! We have to hide! The demons will eat us!"
"I'm the devil."
"Am I going to eat you?"
The meridians brought the two closer. Take a quick look at the tops of their heads as a gift.
"Don't hide like a coward. The demons will not hurt you. All you need to do is stay quiet, listen to Mom and Dad, and then wait until things get better. Understood?"
"Good!"
"Take care of them" he commanded Dion and Luke.
He could feel the sadness of the two being left behind, but Meridian still made a portal to go to the next location. The Marquis's family still did nothing wrong to him, so the Meridians would take care of them.
In the next move, Meridian went to the location of Andaru.
Of course he knew that Andaru was coincidentally standing before the emperor along with a number of high nobles.
"I interrupted." The meridian approached. "Andaru, now—"
"Who are you?" A nobleman interrupted his words in an annoyed tone. "Came up suddenly and mentioned His Majesty's name. Looks like a woman thinks—"
"Break his hand."
Meridian did not mean to call Lumiel, but what appeared was him, pulling out the man's hand.
"I told you to break it, not pull it out."
"The insult to you is inexcusable, My Queen."
"Lost the pain."
Meridian is back. He ascended to the seat of the emperor's throne, facing directly at the old man whom Luke had wanted to kill.
He seems like a useless character. Then there is no problem if—
"Don't."
Andaru's voice stopped the Meridian. That sounds slow. Very weak and calm.
"Why?"
"Don't kill someone before asking for their obedience. Isn't that your promise, my Queen?"
Meridian stared coldly at the emperor in front of him. "I will guarantee the life of anyone who accepts my power. Give me a short answer."
The emperor shivered in fear. "Y-yes. We worship you. We worship you."
"Soge away."
Meridians occupied the chair as if it was his. Stared at the nobles who were suddenly pale in fear, except for Andaru who was walking over to him.
"My queen." He knelt before the Meridians. "My empire is yours. Give me your orders."
"Destroy the temple."
"Do it."
"Don't kill anyone but the one who fights."
Andaru stands. Upright on the left side of the Meridian and started saying, "Command all the witches attack the temple. Do not injure civilians even if they are scratches. Move those who have not been evacuated. The rest, kill the rebels."
Meridians flick their hands. "Go evacuate too. Stay pretty useful."
They all left, except for two people who looked quite strong. The meridians could not tell their feelings, but their gazes said they knew which side should take sides.
"Lum."
"Yes, Your Majesty?"
"Give me additional weaponry for the human forces that obey me. Take out all the mana stones from the dungeon."
"soon."
Meridians hands raised, directing magic circles at the two nobles down there. "Go and lead your troops."
Everyone left, except for Andaru who remained standing beside him. Meridians did not know what he was planning, but the pressure he exerted felt strange.
"Speak."
"Married to me."
Whahuh?
"Keep your word, Miss."
