"They react to the magic power of humans." Lumiel clasped her waist while Herdian flew by himself. "Let's move. We can't kill them."
"Why?"
"You can be stupid too. All the creatures here will be your soldiers if you become the demon king."
Meridians fold hands, not thinking about it. Right too, dad. The more people die, the more they lose.
"All right, come on."
They moved quickly with the help of Lumiel's magic, but could not focus because the winged beasts were all flying at them.
While Lumiel and Herdian were trying to dispel, the Meridian gazed down to see if there was any special territory.
Where is that. Must be a place that looks holy or at least speisal.
If the sea then maybe the water is a strange color itself, if the land is either a mountain or a tree then it definitely stands out on its own. There must be a clue.
"Lumiel, did the stone not react to your magic?"
"No."
"Then my magic?"
"Maybe sa—"
Meridians created all the elements he had, lightning, wind, water, fire, and snow. They rumbled across the clouds, accidentally burning some of the approaching monsters.
In the entirety of that magic, Meridians poured out three-sixths of his mana. Without a doubt, he directed the magic to encompass the entire forest that could be reached.
The meridians can feel it. The wave-like magic moved across the entire area all the way to the roots of the tree.
They're moving. It extends and expands to a place where no meridians see.
Where is that stone? That's all Meridian thinks. Even if he had to exhaust his mana to the last drop, the stone had to be found.
"Nona—"
"I'm fine." Meridians wiped the blood that was pouring down his nose.
He had never used magic of this magnitude. It turns out that if it is reduced very much, its reach can affect the body. Or more like mental. Because the one who hurts is his head.
"Lumiel, move."
Without much to say, Lumiel darted.
The magic had enveloped the entire region until a single monster was invisible. Meridians had been trying so hard that the spell would not burn the monsters or the lightning would scorch them, but they seemed to be frightened instead.
"Hold him." Lumiel hands Meridian to Herdian.
A dragon-like flying creature without scales came swiftly towards them. Lumiel throws him at once darting against the creature.
Meridian glimpsed him. Re-creating a similar magic, then directing it to the ground.
"Miss, the amount of mana Miss is drastically reduced. It's not good for Miss's body now."
"I'm fine." Meridians do not care about the body of a False. "Fokus. That's your job."
The wave he sent ended without any special reaction. The meridians once again created magic, yet he knew this was the last super magic he could cast.
If magic was something that manifested from intelligence, then Meridian would give up all of its intelligence on this matter.
"Meridian, dodge!"
Be late. Larger creatures came darting towards them. Lumiel's speed could not match it, and Herdian could not avoid it.
One Meridian hand was raised, not knowing what but he was now very upset.
"DON'T," Meridians caught the stupid creature's neck with the rest of its magic, "BOTHERING ME, YOU USELESS ASSHOLE!"
The creature crashed, along with the Meridian magic spreading.
His body drifted by itself, moving away from Herdian to rise higher.
High. Very high, passing through the clouds.
The meridian rises to a continent visible from behind a small cloud surrounded by oceans. He was bluffing his teeth impatiently, feeling clearly that the last wave was actually flowing very deeply.
Where is the stone. The stone will bring him home.
I know where the stone is.
Meridian jerks. Over where?
Although there was a sensation like someone was holding onto his shoulder, the Meridians were more concerned when the voice of the Weak.
Over there.
He pointed towards the North.
Meridians streaked until his cloak came loose. He left without regard to Herdian's voice in his head or Lumiel chasing him.
Something was painful in Meridian's chest, but he still darted with a single thought.
He's going home. He'll definitely be home. So the devil or demon king will do.
As long as it comes home.
"Meridians!"
Three giant monsters tried to stop him. The meridians threw them with a kick, sliding down through the castle's windowpanes.
It looks. Docks visible.
Meridian took off her mask just like that. Walking closer to a giant crystal stone with a deep black color that looks beautiful.
He's correct. This stone is like calling him. The strong feeling after seeing it was not a lie.
"You're so pretty." Meridian prepared the fists he strengthened with magic as much as possible. "So get ruined and give me freedom!"
The Meridian Fist broke it.
*
Something absorbed.
The rotating meridians stared around his body absorbing black mana similar to air. They keep coming in. Just go in and in like that.
Did it work? Is he now able to destroy the temple and return to the real world?
"Meridians."
"I succeeded." Meridian almost laughed. "Lumiel, Herdian, I made it."
They both are tense.
"Meridian, stop that. Your core will be destroyed."
Whahuh? But it doesn't hurt.
Meridians tried to control them as he knew, but all was absorbed. He silently watched her, only swallowed by confusion because it felt ordinary.
No. gabe. It even feels fresher. Is it because he's the main character again?
Akh, whatever. Now it's time—
"Ugh."
Meridian kneeling. The black floor below them was unable to disguise the red blood spilling from his mouth.
Meridian. Feeling like he had been driving for hours and all he wanted to do was vomit until his stomach was empty.
You tricked me?
No. gabe. The feeling of someone embracing her came with the sound of a False Meridian. It's just a natural reaction. You will be king. The entire mana in this place and the dividing plane is absorbed into your body. Where humans are just being expelled.
The meridians are a little quieter. Then this is just a small suffering.
The sound of the monster's shrill was heard rumbling all over the place. The meridians continued to cough, but on one side of the stranger, he felt something move increasingly stronger and stronger.
The Meridian body floated into the air. Something enveloped him, tearing apart the Meridian skin before it was replaced by a cold feeling.
The black aura moved hugging the Meridians, forming a sphere the size of his body then broke apart.
The meridian opened its eyes again. Finding the scene Herdian looked up in disbelief, and Lumiel wriggled in pain.
There's something different. Something is different.
Look there, the sound of Meridians still rang out in his head.
He turned to the glass the voice pointed at, finding a silver-haired woman now standing in a terrifying black dress. The crystal eyes of Meridians disappeared, changing into a purple color with strange irises, similar to the lines that crossed into a circle.
Asterisk eye.
"Lum."
A red light shot out, and Lumiel knelt before him. "Here, Your Majesty."
Why is the feeling of Meridian not strange with that call? Why does it feel like he recognizes these strange things?
And ....
"Luke, Dion."
