It's starting to get fun for Meridian.
"really? I don't know that information at all. Young Master, Your Highness, is what the Reverend said true?"
"We're still investigating, miss."
"The temple information turned out to be better than my information." Andaru played as per Meridian's wishes. "Can I hear more about that?"
Missy.
Herdian was secretly telepathic.
Actually one of our soldiers suddenly disappeared during the battle. We suspect his body disappeared on the battlefield, but there is suspicion that he was kidnapped by the kingdom. I have repeatedly confirmed all the bodies of the victims and the soldiers who survived, only one of them disappeared.
It is becoming more obvious that the temple is playing.
"We are not informed with certainty, Your Majesty. That's why we become anxious about public opinion if it gets spread about Miss contaminated with black magic. With the blessing, we can ensure as well as protect Miss with the protection of the Sun God." The pastor can still plead.
"Then how do I agree if I just don't know about magic?" reply Meridian.
"Black magic has a difference with ordinary magic, Nonaku. It was said to be a cunning magic of destructive power that could take one's life without pain."
This meridian of taste is enough. "I feel like you want to force me to be blessed." His eyes were cold. "What do you mean I should just shut up about receiving something I don't know what it is?"
"What does Miss mean? Holy power never hurts anyone."
"I know." Meridian does not know. "What I mean is, if it hurts not to hurt, I don't know what it is."
As Meridian waited for a reply from the man, suddenly Herdian exclaimed in his mind.
In the blink of an eye, Andaru moved in front of the Meridians, trying to fend off a pitch-red light that spread out suddenly.
Meridian. But the next thing was the turmoil of unreasonable pain in his heart along with the sound of something breaking.
The meridians bent down, covering their mouths only to be wide-eyed by the fresh blood flowing like rushing water.
What is—
"MISS!"
A flush of yellowish glare light attacked the Meridian.
"Your Majesty," he muttered to Andaru.
Andaru darted rapidly towards the priest, slashing at them one by one.
This was shocking, but strangely Meridian did not feel any pain while vomiting blood, so he immediately understood that this power was harmless.
So this is holy power?
"It's amazing." The priest smiled calmly even though his comrades were killed. "I do suspect there's something you're hiding, but with this much magic power, it looks like you want to start a world war, Your Majesty."
Andaru licked his lips as he grinned. "I'm planning to exterminate fanatics like you."
"I will convey it very clearly to His Highness the Great."
"Tell me that with your already calm soul in the lap of the God."
"Please say that when I've been hurt enough by you."
Andaru flicked his sword to get rid of the blood. Meridians were actually confident that Andaru would kill that Non-essential Person, yet something shocking happened.
Just before Andaru's sword hit the Priestess, a golden aura repelled him. Followed by the appearance of a blond man with a crazy grin.
"Yo, Andaru."
"Ruben." Andaru bluffed his teeth instantly.
Turns out he's Ruben.
Meridians thought he wasn't very important, but his aura was incredible.
"Marcel, go. I'll be there any minute." Reuben asked the priest.
"You think I'll just shut up?"
Ruben swung his sword. "Greaten your mouth when you're older, you little boy!"
Meridian just silently watched Marcel leave using whatever magic. He instantly disappeared swept away a yellowish-white aura.
*
"Miss, please don't move first."
Meridian raised a hand so that Herdian would not worry about it just yet.
The pain was gone, so now focus on Andaru's fight.
Turns out Ruben was not a croco who ran away because his kingdom lost.
Yohannes with a number of bodyguards entered due to the commotion, but he seemed superior to our main character who is OP.
Goody. Goody. That is how villains should be.
Don't lose to the main character!
"Herdian, why doesn't His Majesty use magic?"
The man beside her was extremely worried about the blood in the mouth of the Meridian. But he still replied, "Where around Miss is being messed up. Your Majesty is putting shackles around the core where Miss. Her magic will now be considered an enemy by which Miss. If a rejection occurs, nothing can stop the rampage."
That's why Ruben the swordsman appeared, not the sorcerer.
They are smart too. This means that they predict that Meridian magic is quite powerful, destructive and if they go berserk they will also be hit.
"Herdian, what magic did he use break his shackles?"
"I'll find out later, Miss."
Meridian folding hand. Silence watched until Andaru crashed and all the soldiers lying down.
Goody. If this is the case, Meridians do not have to have a headache to see a swordsman who dedicates his life to a sword defeated by a witch who is also a swordsman.
"Seeing you like this makes me understand." Ruben smirked at the Meridian. "Lumiel should have betrayed me."
A lumiel?
Don't tell Raven? Name Lumiel?
"I also understood something after seeing you." Meridian smile. "I am happy to fight you, Prince."
"That's exciting news if you can do it."
Ruben moved quickly towards the Meridian. But somehow Meridian just calm down. Just before the aura enveloped him, another person appeared.
Fending off Ruben's aura and throwing it at Andaru.
What surprised Meridian was the appearance of the man, the bandit boss who kidnapped him some time ago, but now white with red eyes and red hair.
"It looks like you're enjoying the show." Meridians wiped the blood in his mouth. "I thought I'd be saved by my cat."
Raven—or maybe now he should call Lumiel—chuckles lightly. "I'm so amazed at your every calm, Nonaku."
"Don't kill him. Let him go."
"I have no intention."
Something red floated up in the air, separating Andaru's body from Ruben's. The two of them did not faint, but appeared to be severely injured.
"Are you okay, Your Majesty?"
Andaru looked at Lumiel beside the Meridian, but was savvy enough not to ask first.
Usually in scenes like this, the villain would leave a pearl sentence as a closing greeting before the next meeting.
"Treasoning me for being a girl, I really feel ashamed of your bloodline, Lumiel." Ruben did it as expected.
Raven—meaning, Lumiel, just shrugs indifferently. "Any man would choose to side with a sweet girl rather than an unattractive man."
"I don't regret it much either." Reuben tried to rise by making the sword his staff. "I admit the girl's eyes are different. And I don't think these fools realize it."
"Something unknown is far more valuable. Even if I have to kill you soon because I know it."
Ruben laughing. "Then I'm really going to meet that Miss on the battlefield."
A yellowish-white light began to envelop Ruben. He slowly disappeared until there was nothing left in the air but dust.
