Towards the Destiny of Naura's Love

Towards the Destiny of Naura's Love
Chapter 8 Following the City

Seven days later. Naura only spends time at home by helping her clean the house when she has to go to work to iron the clothes of people who pay her.

She never called him again after that night. The sms sent by Naura was never returned. It was like he disappeared without a trace. But, Naura did not care, she was already able to stabilize her heart and mind back as before getting to know Tama.

Drriitts...

Phone's bedering. There was an incoming call from the administrative section of the deanad of the literary faculty.

Soon Naura answered the call. He listened well to the explanation of the mother who was the head of the administration of his faculty.

A happy smile was seen on Naura's face. Especially after the call ended.

"Mother, father!"

Naura rippled as she ran over to her parents who were watching television.

"What's wrong?"

They looked in shock at Naura.

"Dad, mother, I'm finally graduating!"

"Jude?" Yani and Rudi repeat almost simultaneously.

Naura nodded.

"O Allah, thank God…"

Yani hugged Naura. Rudi patted Naura on the back gently. Her eyes looked glassy as Yani and Naura started crying happily.

"Have you given this happy news to your husband?" Rudi asked amid those happy cries.

Naura broke away from her mother's embrace. He looked at his father, then shook his head.

"Then inform your husband of this happy news."

"Yes dad."

Naura returned to her room. She called her husband, but there was no answer at all. Even Naura has called a dozen times.

"Maybe I'm busy. I'll just send you a text."

Naura texted her husband. He said he would graduate in three days. Naura also reported that she will go directly to the city tomorrow morning, because she has to attend a clean gladi event to prepare for her graduation.

Naura also told her mother-in-law about the good news. Her mother-in-law responded well. He even said he would leave with Naura's father and mother just the day before graduation by car.

Meanwhile, in the city. In the hotel room, Tama sits on her bed reading Naura's text message that goes into her phone.

"Message from Naura, bro?"

"Yes. He said he's going to town tomorrow. He wants three more days of graduation." Tama explained.

His friend who asked felt strange seeing the expression of Tama's face that looked less happy. He should be happy because his wife is coming to town tomorrow. And tomorrow is also the last day of training.

In a different place. Zahra and Baim also feel very happy, because eventually Zahra will soon graduate.

"That means tomorrow I have to go to town, brother."

"Then, why is your face so sad?"

Baim touched both of Zahra's cheeks gently.

"So, don't come!" Bring Zahra.

"Of course dong dear. Where might you let your sister's wife be a mosquito repellent for Naura and her husband."

Baim said that, because Naura just called them. She says her husband is in town and Naura plans to come early, so she can meet him.

"But where do we live, brother. No way in the boarding room, Naura will definitely wait for the boarding room with her husband."

Zahra did not want to occupy the boarding room, because indeed the last month in the boarding house he did not pay the rent. Only Naura herself paid. It was also because Zahra was running out of money.

"We can find another boarding room or directly find an inn that can be rented for a while before graduation, dear."

"Sister.." Two thumbs Zahra pointed at her husband. A sweet smile was beautifully painted on Baim's face. He immediately pulled Zahra's body into his warm embrace.

At seven o'clock in the morning, Naura had left for the city by bus between cities. He was escorted by his father and mother to the terminal right after the dawn prayer.

Now Naura was on a bus that had started to run towards the city.

"I tried calling Tama one more time."

Naura had called many times and texted her husband before he left, but there was no answer at all. And now Naura is trying to call her husband again.

"It's still not lifted."

There was a little feeling of sadness, disappointment and tightness when the phone and text never once ignored by her husband.

"It turns out like this it's like loving yourself."

Naura put her phone back in her little bag. Then he leaned his head against the back of the bus seat while closing his eyes.

To arrive in the city takes about five to six hours by bus between cities. So, Naura used that hour to rest her energy drained from thinking about her husband almost overnight.

Until it was not felt, finally the bus arrived at the market terminal in the city. Naura got off the bus with a big bag. His phone vibrated, immediately he stepped sitting on the seat beside the terminal. Only then did Naura pick up the phone from inside the small bag she was holding.

"Mas Tama!"

Immediately Naura pressed the green button on her phone's keyboard when she found out Tama was calling her.

"Yes…"

"Have you arrived?" Tanya Tama who just returned to the hotel after training

"Yes, this just got off the bus. Still in the terminal."

Naura's lips lifted, she smiled happily.

"Well, I'll wait in front of your boarding house, yeah."

Naura's smile turned mellow. He was disappointed for the last time.

"Yes, um."

Call ended.

"Hope only to Allah, Naura. Don't pin hope on people, not even husbands."

A few seconds ago Naura hoped Tama would pick her up to the terminal. Apparently not at all. After feeling a little relieved, Naura stepped towards the angkot who was waiting for the passengers. And not long after, angkotpun immediately drove passengers to their respective destinations.

After driving for nearly twenty-five minutes, Naura finally arrived in front of her boarding house.

"Thank God, it's finally here." Saying grateful.

Naura did not realize that her husband's pair of eyes were staring at her who stepped in a big bag that was quite heavy. The bag contains clothes and other supplies for tomorrow's graduation.

Instead of helping carry the bag, Tama just stared with a slightly mocking look at the look of Naura who always wears a big robe and a hijab that is too long. He thinks it doesn't look fashionable at all.

"Mas!"

Naura had just seen her husband who had been sitting in the front seat of the room waiting for her arrival.

"Mas has been here a long time?"

Naura put her bag on the chair, then took the room key inside her bag of straps.

"About fifteen minutes ago."

Naura sighed very slowly, so as not to be heard by her husband. She did not like the way her husband spoke that was always indifferent when they were alone.
