Towards the Destiny of Naura's Love

Towards the Destiny of Naura's Love
Chapter 3 The wedding plan

After two days Naura continued to think about her fate to marry a man she did not love, she was finally able to refocus to prepare for the trial script.

Naura preoccupied herself with preparing to face the examiners during the trial. Zahra did the same, so they had no time to discuss or remember anything other than preparing for the trial.

Days changed, and now was the day that would determine their graduation.

Naura was now sitting in front of her trial examiners. He was accompanied by Zahra who had already finished the trial.

Naura began to explain her script and was taken seriously by the examiners who made the atmosphere of the trial feel tense. But, Naura was finally declared a graduate.

"Alhamdulillah O Allah."

Naura was happy, because she could finally hold a degree as a scholar.

"Congratulations Naura, you've finally become a scholar."

The congratulations came from the trial examiners and the scriptors.

"Thank you, father, mother."

They smiled in response to Naura's thanks. After shaking hands and photos with the lecturers and the testing team, Naura hugged Zahra. They share happiness and also capture many moments of their togetherness through photos and videos that they record today using Zahra smartphone of course.

"Zahrah!"

A tall white man waved at Zahra.

"Cie cie who was picked up."

"Yes dong, it's just that it's been around for years.." Ledek Zahra joked.

"There samperin."

"Sorry yes, Na. I can't go home with you."

"Yes. It's already there."

Naura encourages Zahra's body to approach Baim, her future husband. Zahra waved at Naura before she left with Baim. Naura also waved her hand to accompany Zahra's departure with Baim. And after Zahra was no longer visible, Naura stepped towards the campus gate.

He sat in the long chair of the stop while waiting for the angkot. Naura is going to the market to buy some by for her family in the village. Because he plans to come home tomorrow afternoon.

Meanwhile, in the village. Maysaroh and Naura's parents are in talks to prepare for a wedding that will be held in two weeks.

"The mother wants the wedding of Tama and Naura, must be grand and festive."

"Pretty and festive means a lot of costs to be incurred mbak."

"That must be Rudi's deck. Where maybe a grand wedding costs a little. Isn't that father, mother?"

Maysaroh asked the question to the families who were present in the preparation of the wedding. They only agreed with what Maysaroh had just asked.

"I don't have enough money to prepare for that grand wedding, ma'am."

For a moment Maysaroh was silent, then he approached Rudi and Yani to whisper. "Mbak will help as many as twenty million. The rest you can try. This marriage is very important for Tama and Naura loh, cook yes they married only with a marriage contract without a lively reception."

Instantly they fell silent to what Maysaroh had just said. Yani is most shocked and feels guilty for her husband, for agreeing to Tama and Naura's betrothal. He had no idea before that Maysaroh was this selfish.

Maysaroh says that while smiling happily and assuming Yani and Rudi agree with his idea.

"Naura's coming home tomorrow right?"

"Yes mbak. Naura has graduated from college, just waiting for her graduation." Answer Yani explained.

"So impatient, I'd like to bring Naura to try on her wedding dress immediately."

Maysaroh is obsessed with making Naura his son-in-law.

After the event was over, Maysaroh and other family members immediately went home. And after everyone left her house, Rudi invited Yani to talk alone to discuss the wedding preparations.

"Dec, I think we should borrow money from the bank." Rudi looked lethargic as he said that to his wife.

"I'm sorry, ma'am. I thought May would follow our plan to have a simple reception accordingly." Yani felt sorry.

"Not to feel guilty, deck. The important thing is now we prepare the money for the wedding later. And I hope, I hope we don't choose a mate for Naura."

Yani nodded in agreement with the idea of her husband. They would borrow money from the bank to cover the cost of their eldest daughter's wedding to be held in two weeks.

They are not a wealthy family like the Maysaroh. Rudi works as a school guard. While Yani works from one house to another, to iron clothes. Their salary is not much and will not be enough to hold a grand and luxurious wedding party like the wishes of Maysaroh.

"May should have borne all the expenses of this marriage. He's the one who's cool enough to throw a grand party."

"Have the deck, we pray that this marriage will last and Naura will live happily with her husband."

Rudi hugged Yani, then kissed the top of his wife's head. Yes, despite having three daughters even soon the eldest daughter will be married, Rudi still treats Yani as before when they were newly married.

"Money can be sought, but this wedding moment is only once in a lifetime. Mas also wanted to see Naura look beautiful on her happy day."

"I also want to see Naura happy, mas."

Yani wrapped her hands around her husband's waist. She always felt calm and comfortable when in the arms of her beloved husband.

"Wedding's two weeks away, huh?" Suddenly, Yani took off her embrace.

"Well, what's the deck?"

"Same nisa Ningsih how, mas? They won't be able to get permission from the pesantren if it's just to attend the wedding."

Yani remembered his two daughters who were currently studying at the boarding school. Both of his daughters only come home once a year, which is when Eid al-Fitr only. The rest should not be allowed to go home, unless one of the biological parents dies or is seriously ill.

"Yes, let it go. Enough to tell them, so that they pray for their Naura mother to be happy and become a happy family, mawaddah and warohmah. Aye, right?"

Yani sighed, then she went towards the kitchen with glassy eyes. Remembering his two daughters made him even more homesick. Had not met for a long time, after Lebaran five months ago.

Meanwhile, in Borneo. Tama was busy treating patients who were hit by landslides during the construction of the bridge. At times like this Tama looks really cool. Although only a D3 nursing graduate, he actually looks like a professional doctor. That attraction is what makes a lot of women fall in love with her.

"Sir, hold it. I'll sew up your wound. It's gonna hurt a lot, 'cause we're running out of dope. If you get sick, you can yell and ask me to stop."

Try to make the patient feel more relaxed. He also began to stitch the wound on the patient's shoulder.
