Chapter 38 Dani is missing?!

Since yesterday Naura has been unable to contact Dani. However, he tries to think well of Dani. Until finally, this morning Naura was summoned by Arjune to meet him in his room.

Naura felt wasp, she did not feel that she had done anything wrong, but why did Arjune call her to her room.

"Oh my God, may all be well." He said before knocking on the door of Arjune's room.

Despite the doubt Naura finally kept knocking on that door.

"Lake in!" Arjune shouted from inside his room.

Naura came in. He glanced at Arjune who seemed focused on staring at his computer screen.

"Please sit down, Naura."

Naura sat on the chair in front of Arjune's desk. His eyes stared right beside Arjune's computer. Right on the table Naura's eyes clearly saw a white envelope inscribed with a letter of resignation.

Am I forced to resign? O Allah, what I have done wrong, until Mr. Arjune prepared a letter of resignation for me..

Naura was getting worried. He thought Arjune would fire him unilaterally, in a way as if he were resigning. That was Dani's resignation letter.

"Naura, do you know why Dani resigned?" Ask Arjune.

The question made Naura startled and silent for a moment. He understands now why he was called and the resignation letter was not for him but Dani's resignation letter.

Mas Dani.. why can't Mas Dani be contacted at all since yesterday and now even resign?

"I'm asking this to you, because I think you guys have more than just co-workers. So, I think you must know why Dani suddenly resigned." Arjune explained at length.

Naura sighed, then she adjusted her sitting position to make it more comfortable. "I don't know at all, sir." Naura said honestly.

Arjune nodded hearing the answer from Naura. He also understood the look on Naura's face which looked disappointed.

I think Naura was just as surprised as I was to hear Dani resign. Whether they are no longer in touch, or even Dani is disappointed because maybe Naura refused her love yes..

Arjune guessed the possibility that occurred between Dani and Naura to make Dani the head of the planning team that is very painstaking and also the most liked in the office suddenly invited himself.

"Yes Naura, if you don't know about Dani's reason for resigning, please go back to your room again." Arjune said later.

Soon Naura came out of Arjune's room. He didn't go straight back to his room, but he went to the toilet. Tried to contact Dani but still not connected. Even the operator said the number Naura called was no longer used.

"Where are you Dani? Why did it suddenly disappear after you proposed to me.."

"Did something bad happen to Dani?"

Naura was really worried about Dani. He escapes from the office to find Dani and asks what happened.

Naura comes to Dani's parents' home address that Dani once gave her.

Upon arriving in front of the house, Naura said her greetings and knocked on the door of the house. Naura waited in front of the house. He sat on the chair on the terrace.

Then after almost twenty minutes, a mother came closer to the house. The mother looked in wonder at Naura who seemed to be waiting on the porch of her house.

"Who are you looking for, neng?" Greet Naura that mother.

"Mom, ee. I'm sorry I wanted to find Dani's mas." said Naura.

Naura grabbed the mother's hand, kissed the back of her hand and smiled kindly. That certainly made the middle-aged woman flabbergasted in wonder.

"Dani who is? This is my home. There's no Dani living here." Said the mother looking suspiciously at Naura.

Suspected, Naura immediately pulled out a piece of paper that read the home address Dani gave her at the time.

"This is my home address. But I don't know who Dani meant. I live alone in this house. My husband passed away a year ago and I have no children or brothers." The mother confirmed to Naura.

Hearing that explanation, it certainly made Naura surprised. But he hasn't given up. He also showed the photo of Dani to the mother.

"Sorry, but I really don't know who this mas is at all."

The mother's answer made Naura's heart rumble erratically. He left after saying thank you and apologizing to her.

"Mas Dani is missing! It seems he tricked me on purpose." Naura Mumbled. His heart ached, his breathing began to suffocate.

"Prophe Naura. You need to stay calm.." Reminds to himself.

However, his heart could not lie. Naura was hurt, she felt pain from being tricked by the man she had trusted. The tears finally dripped profusely from both of his eyes.
