Towards the Destiny of Naura's Love
Chapter 18 Fifty thousand per day

After Yani leaves the house. I went back to the room to sleep. He had gone out of the room to drink. But it failed because her in-laws still hadn't left for work.

"Mas, breakfast first." Naura knocks on the door to take Tama to breakfast.

"I'm not hungry yet."

"Yes already. I have breakfast first."

There was no response from Tama. Naura immediately ate breakfast until full. After that she took off the house, then after everything was done Naura changed clothes.

I'll find a job in the market. Anything that matters is halal and makes money.

Naura was dressed as usual. She wears a long dress and a hijab that is also wide and long. Naura also wears a veil so that her face is not recognized by people when she works in the market later, even if offered a suitable job of course.

"Mas, I'm going to the market first." Naura whispered in the ear of Tama who was still asleep. Then he took Tama's hand to say goodbye. But, just as Naura was about to kiss the back of Tama's hand, she instead woke up and brushed off Naura's hand.

"If you want to go, go there. Don't bother me, I'm sleepy to know." Tama was upset with Naura.

"Sorry mas. I just want to say goodbye."

"Yes there!" Hardik Tama without looking at Naura.

With a heavy heart Naura immediately left the house. He went to the market by riding an angkot.

Fortunately, when I got out of the house no one saw me. And even now in the sky, no one knows me. Bismillah, I hope this is a good start. Aamiins.

After a few minutes, the angkot stops at the market terminal. Naura also confirmed the veil, then she came down from the angkot.

Naura walks through the market slowly while seeing if there are people who need her services or are there job openings that are suitable for her. Until finally her footsteps stopped right in front of the hijab shop that said accept keryawati on condition that they must wear hijab and be maximum 23 years old.

Naura smiled. He who was only twenty-one years old and hijab directly entered the hijab shop.

"Assalamualaikum, ma'am."

"Goddessalam…"

A middle-aged woman in shar'i clothes greeted Naura kindly. He seems to be the owner of a hijab shop.

"Let's sit down, son."

Naura was invited to sit by the mother. Then the mother offered Naura a glass of water.

"Thank you so much mom." Naura who was already thirsty immediately drank the white water.

"If you can know whose child's name is?"

"I'm Naura, ma'am."

The mother smiled and stared long enough at Naura's face hidden behind her veil.

"Did Naura come here to apply for a job?"

"Yes mom. I'd like to work here if I'm allowed to."

This mother knows my purpose. It must have been clear from my eyes that I needed a job.

"Son Naura's already read the terms, right?"

"It's mom."

The mother nodded, then she looked at Naura with a smile. "In addition to the requirements that Naura wants to know, I still have a few more terms. If nak Naura meets some of these requirements, then nak Naura can work today as well."

"The other "requisite is salary. I give a salary per day and nominal as much as fifty thousand, then working hours starting from nine to three in the afternoon. And the last one should be single."

Hearing the final requirement made Naura sigh. Should I lie for this job? But if I lie later the salary I get is not barokah.

"But I'm married, ma'am."

The smiling mother looked at the sad looking Naura. "I know Naura's son is married. But, I'll give you an exception as long as Naura's son agrees to the other terms."

"I agree ma'am." Naura is so excited to be working in this store. He did not mind his meager salary at all. During her working hours according to her schedule when it comes to being a wife.

Like at eight o'clock in the morning both parents had left for work and came home at four in the afternoon. So it will not be caught by his activities by his parents. While her husband will still continue to sleep and if he wakes up will not care about his existence.

"Then Naura's son can go straight to work."

"Thank you so much mom."

Naura feels very grateful that she finally has a job and she will earn money, although little but enough to buy meat and fish for her husband every day. Because her husband would not want to eat if there was no chicken, meat or fish as a side dish to eat.

Naura started working. He who has no experience being a shopkeeper at all before feels worried and afraid if later customers do not buy, they run away because they are afraid of him.

"Bismill it first." Mumbled.

Instead, what Naura was worried about was very much different. As customers began to arrive, Naura welcomed them in a friendly and very polite manner. They even feel comfortable shopping at the hijab shop.

Thank God. It feels good that today many come to buy hijab.

There were also some customers who asked Naura for her opinion on the hijab that was suitable for them. Naura gave advice that was liked by them.

It was also fun to welcome customers. Although very tiring, but seeing their happy smile when getting the hijab they like makes my fatigue a little treated.

Does not feel adzan zuhur reverberating. But there are still customers who choose the hijab so Naura does not dare to leave customers to pray Zuhur. He waited until the customer finished shopping.

"Son Naura, pray zuhur first. Let me change to keep the shop."

"Yes ma'am."

Naura rushed to the back to pray. Then, after the completion of the prayer she returned to keep the store and customers still continuously came to buy the hijab in their store.

It was not time for Naura to go home. He said goodbye to the shop owner's mother who also immediately gave a salary envelope to Naura according to the agreement.

"Thank you very much, ma'am."

"Yes. Don't forget to come early tomorrow."

"God willing, ma'am."

Naura said goodbye and went straight home. Not forgetting Naura took off her veil before boarding the angkot. The goal is not to be suspected by neighbors who usually like to gather in front of the house at this time.

Before boarding the angkot, Naura buys chicken first. She recalled her mother-in-law saying that her husband Tama loved chicken stews.

"God bless you today, O Allah." Naura came home feeling relieved and happy.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hide my job. I'm just afraid I'll be distracted when I find out I'm starting to work in the market." Mumbled.
