The day kept changing, and it just passed very quickly without excuse.
Naura still continues to work in the hijab shop and every day comes home with a favorite side dish of her husband. So far both her parents and her husband no one knows about the new activity.
And Tama also had a new habit, he always went home at magrib and went again after isa, came home again at two in the morning and instead of going straight to bed he chose to play games until dawn, then sleep when Naura wakes up for dawn prayers. So that when Naura left for work until work Tama was still sleeping.
Instead of being angry or upset with her husband's new habits, Naura instead increasingly tried to approach and pay attention to her husband. Many moments where Naura tried to give attention and affection to Tama although never responded well by Tama. The more Naura tried to pay attention to her husband, the more her husband moved away from her.
Even the last few nights, Tama again put the bolster as a barrier between them while sleeping. Naura threw the roll away, then she moved closer to embrace her husband. What happened next, Tama immediately distanced herself from Naura she even wiped the part of her body that was touched by Naura's hand directly in front of Naura.
Why would Tama do that? Is he disgusted at me? Or don't let Tama divorce me without my knowledge? For the past month, Tama never touched me again.
Various kinds of strange thoughts continued to occur in Naura's head since the incident that night.
"Did you hate me so much…"
"That's Naura. I'm tired."
Tonight even Tama chose to sleep on the floor instead of sleeping in the same bed as Naura.
"Mas, sleep in bed. I'm gonna sleep outside." Naura brought her pillow and blanket out of the room. He slept on the sofa in front of the television by himself. Fortunately that night his parents were not home, they went to the next village to attend the wedding of his father's cousin.
Almost two months into the wedding, Naura still could not get close to her husband who put up a wall in her heart. Naura still tried. He doesn't give up easily.
I'll keep trying to make you fall in love with me.
The next night Tama was home, she did not leave even though it was nine in the evening. He looked engrossed watching on his cellphone while lying comfortably in a mattress. Naura was lying next to her husband, but was immediately stared cynically by him.
"What's so far away, sultry." Tama's hatred became more and more apparent from the day of the day, and Naura continued to try to get closer to Tama, but Tama's defensive walls grew taller and stronger.
I'm not giving up.
The next night Naura again tried to lie next to her husband while gently stroking his hair.
Can this soften my husband's heart a little?
Naura kept stroking her husband's hair. Feeling no rejection, Naura got closer and she even lay on her husband's arm and went to watch the Turkish drama that her husband was watching.
God, may my husband's heart soften a little.
However, not yet two minutes, Tama moved and immediately stood up. This made Naura surprised.
"Where are you going?"
Tama had put her cellphone on the dresser, then she started wearing jeans and also her shirt.
"What's wrong? Where are you going?"
"I don't like to be disturbed."
Naura apologized while holding her husband's hand, but was immediately hit hard by Tama until Naura's hand fell to the edge of her dressing table.
"I'm lazy to be disturbed. Is it hard not to touch me, or bother me. I don't like ya, you stroked my hair, touched me anything else pretentious to spoil me. That's really very men-ji-jikkan!"
Tama stared hatefully at Naura who was silent and felt a great pain in her heart and wrist.
"I'm going to go to bed to my mom's house."
Tama was about to open the door of the room, but Naura quickly blocked her by kneeling down and tightly grasping her husband's feet.
"I'm sorry. I'll never interrupt Tama's mas again."
"Deliver!"
"It's late, mas. Please don't go. I promise I'll never touch or disturb you again."
Naura sobbed while slowly releasing her husband's legs. Tama breathed a heavy sigh. Then he took off his shirt and jeans. He went back to bed and continued watching as before.
While Naura was still crying restrained. He felt very sad and hurt. But at least he was relieved, because Tama did not go and wished his parents did not know about their quarrel tonight. Such was the case every time Naura tried to approach her husband.
Oh God, is this the code from my husband for me to give up on this marriage?
Naura picked up her pillow and blanket, then she lay down on the carpet that lay on the floor.
I am really tired of this marriage. But I don't want to disappoint my father and mother. O God, give me guidance on what I should do? Should I last longer or should I immediately give up my household?
Naura survives this marriage only for the sake of her parents. Because Tama always treated him very well even friendly in front of both his parents and also his mother-in-law. So, Naura had no reason to give up on her domestic life.
Once while staying at her mother-in-law's house, Naura told about Tama who always came home at night.
"Ma, try mama nasehatkan mas Tama. Almost every night mas Tama came home very late even sometimes at two in the morning."
"Mom told you once, Tama is like that. Mama has been advising a lot but she is not listening. You should as his wife try to provide the best service for Tama so that she can feel at home."
Good service though? What is good service like? I have even tried my best to provide a service that is even better in my opinion, but still can not change mas Tama.
"Oh yeah, Tama said you always told her to look for a job. Mama thinks it's ridiculous, baby."
Maysaroh gently stroked Naura's hand. "Don't ask your husband to work, because despite not working money always goes into his account. That's even quite a lot."
Is that mama? Well really I just found out that my mother-in-law and my husband are the same as gi-la.
She was very surprised that her mother-in-law was defending her husband who was clearly not responsible for his wife.
Should I tell you all about the Tama mas who did not give me a birth from the beginning of the marriage? Should I say that all this time mas Tama only acted well with me?
