Yani cooked fried rice for breakfast this morning. His homemade fried rice has a taste that makes Tama addictive.
"The mother who cooked this fried rice?"
"Yes, why kid. Does it taste bad?"
Yani was worried, she even stopped bribing the fried rice on her plate. Rudi and Naura stopped to hear Tama's comments.
"It's really good for you."
Yani, Rudi and Naura heaved a sigh of relief. They smiled and resumed breakfast.
"The taste of fried rice made by the mother is exactly like fried rice that I always eat when I was a student first."
"Ah son Tama could have. It's also a lie, right?" Yani says that while smiling shyly.
"True mother."
The atmosphere of breakfast this morning feels special according to Yani and Rudi because of the presence of Tama. Understandably, they never had breakfast with a son, because they only had three daughters.
Yani, Rudi and Tama eat breakfast while occasionally joking and laughing together. Naura smiles happily because Tama makes her parents happy. Naura also felt happy when she saw Tama's gentle and courteous treatment of her parents.
Seeing this atmosphere made me even more curious. Does Tama really love me? But, for some reason since my time and until now, I could not see the love for me in the eyes of Tama mas.
Naura watched Tama's face silently. I hope that's just my wrong guess. Most importantly, I have to learn to be the best wife for Tama.
The atmosphere was warm, the jokes of both his parents and their daughter-in-law, really cool the heart of Naura.
One minute…
Two minutes…
Ten minutes later, breakfast was finally over. Naura helps you clean the dining table, wash dishes and also clean the kitchen. Tama returned to the room to prepare. He was about to leave for the city to attend the special training of medical personnel like him.
He had already said goodbye to Rudi and Yani, while he had not told Naura about it at all.
"Have a son, let the mother who cleaned the kitchen. You go and help your husband be ready." - Celoteh Yani suggested.
"Ready ready for what, mother…"
Naura asked in a voice so small that it was not heard by Yani. He looks confused.
"She said your husband will be leaving for town at nine this morning."
Naura is confused. But she did not want to ask her mother, because it would be very noticeable that she did not know about her husband. If asked would definitely make the bunda suspicious. So, Naura immediately stepped into her room following Tama. She will ask her husband.
"Where are you going?"
"I have special training for the medical team in town."
Tama answered without looking at Naura. He was busy staring at the screen of his phone.
"How long, ma'am?"
"One week."
"Keep me how, mas?" Naura asked.
"How's what?" This time Tama stared at Naura's confused face for a while.
"Yes, we've just become husband and wife, and we're going away for a week…"
Naura could not continue her words because Tama suddenly kissed her forehead. "One week is just a minute. I'll be right back."
Does Tama love me? Naura was back in dialogue with her mind.
Nope, no. I'm sure Tama hasn't loved me. I have to ask you directly? But, what if mas Tama did not even like the question.
Naura dilemma. She desperately wants to ask about Tama's feelings for her, at least before Tama leaves.
"Yes…"
Naura called out to Tama as Tama was about to come out of the room.
"What." Tama.
Naura finally asked. She subdues her pandagan waiting for Tama's answer.
"Ohhh…"
Tama grunted annoyedly. He stepped closer to Naura, then hugged Naura's body again.
"If I don't love you, there's no way I'll marry you Naura."
Naura's lips smiled at Tama's reply. But his heart was sad. She finally finds out Tama doesn't love her at all.
Naura is an introvert who can read a person's behavior through facial expression, tone of speech and touch of the person. And when Tama hugged her, it was not the warmth that she felt, but it was very cold. Tama's reply was clear that she said; I was forced to marry you. So don't expect anything from me, Naura. That sentence was captured by Naura from the answer Tama gave just now.
"Naura ayok's. Take me to the front."
"Yes, mom!"
Naura immediately rushed after Tama.
"Are you leaving, son?" Sapa Rudi's.
"Yes dad. My friend is coming to pick me up soon."
"Son, take this…"
Yani ran from the kitchen carrying a box of food wrapped in black plastic.
"What is this, mother?"
Tama asked while taking over the black plastic from Yani's hand.
"Beat milk. The rest of the party yesterday. But my mother has warmed up. And guaranteed to still taste good."
Tama smiled. "Thank you mother. I'll share it with my friends later, can you?"
"Of course you can, son."
Yani really feel happy and happy to feel having a son.
"That looks like Tama's friend's car."
Rudi's out of the house. The red BMW stopped right in front of their house. They also immediately left the house. Maysaroh and Tania got out of the car. They hitchhiked to see Tama's departure, all of them meeting Naura.
"Then I say goodbye, father."
"Mother, I say yes. Take care of Naura while I'm gone."
Tama greeted Rudi and Yani alternately. Tama also asks that Yani keep the Nuara and that makes Yani feel even happier.
"Dec, I'm going first."
Tama even hugged and kissed Naura's forehead to show how much she loved Naura in front of her mother and Naura's parents.
Naura kissed the back of Tama's hand. "Yes, heart of heart."
"Don't be long gone. Poor Naura…"
Maysaroh embraced Naura and stroked her back slowly trying to comfort her minister.
"Yes ma. Just a week."
Tama hugged and kissed her mother. Then he also damaged Tania's head while saying goodbye. Naura witnesses Tama's behavior to her mother and her sister Tania.
Of course Tama loves them, because they are her family. I was just a stranger to him.
"Bye bye…"
Tama waved her hand. He even gave a kiss bye directed at Naura who continued to smile like a fool from earlier. Naura's hand even waved her husband's departure.
At least mas Tama treated me kindly in front of my parents.
"Naura don't be sad, baby. Later mama take the road to the market, we continue to eat good food."
Naura nodded with a smile. Invite my mom as if telling me to shop for vegetables to the market, and I must be told to cook at home, only then eat together.
