Chapter 30 Rejecting Promises

Now Naura is in a dilemma after agreeing to Tama's wish to invite her to move to the house of mama. Indeed Tama also accepted the terms of Naura if they ended up staying at the house of mama.

First condition, Naura wants Tama not to come home late again and Tama agrees to it. The second condition, Tama must take Naura to work, because Naura does not have her own motorbike and Tama agrees. The third or last condition, Tama must try to treat Naura like a wife instead of a statue or mere decoration and Tama also agreed.

"Humans don't change that easily. Although mas Tama has promised, but I don't think he will keep his promise."

Naura chose to lay down her body on the bed with still wearing her face after the isa prayer. Meanwhile, his parents were talking about the problems that Naura was facing. Yani decides to tell her husband and Naura has also told her father and mother about Tama's desire to invite her to move to her mother's house.

"Is Naura ready?" Rudi asked because she did not see Naura coming out of her room.

"Maybe you're ready."

"The name picked him up?"

"It can't be. Tama himself said he would not set foot again in this house. So, there's no way he's picking up Naura."

"He'll take Naura without saying goodbye to me?" Rudi was disappointed and wanted to be angry but quickly arrested.

"I'm sorry, mas. I didn't expect it to end like this. I thought Tama would divorce Naura right away." Said Yani felt regretful because of his carelessness which was unable to hold back emotions.

"You said what the hell deck is. Don't talk like that, just pray that Tama changes and tenderly her heart to accept Naura and give Naura her due affection."

"I always pray for Naura, mas. But I'm not sure that Tama can change and keep her promise to Naura."

Yani still could not forget the incident this morning. She remembers clearly how Tama looked at her, pointed at her disrespectfully and even nearly hit her.

"Here call Naura. It's almost nine o'clock in the evening, she has to catch up with her husband." Rudi's orders to his wife who looked still upset it.

Yani lazily finally approached Naura to her room. At that time Naura was putting her clothes in a suitcase. Yani helps without daring to say anything. She felt guilty for interfering in her daughter's household.

"Mother, I'm about to move into my mom's house. I would stop by every time I came home from work. Mmm." Naura hugged her mother and they cried together.

Then, after everything was ready Naura was immediately delivered by her father to her mother-in-law's house. Her father just drove her to the front gate of her mother-in-law's house.

"Dad don't come in first."

"No need. Dad went straight home. You must be a good wife and devoted husband. Your paradise is no longer with your mother, it's with your husband."

"Yes dad."

"Remember, try to hold on as much as you can. Do not forget to keep praying to God. And one more thing, if you can't get the word divorce."

"Okay dad, I'll do the best I can."

Rudi smiled bitterly as he stared at Naura's steps pulling her suitcase into Maysaroh's house. No one was welcoming or waiting for his daughter to arrive.

Oh, God protect my daughter. Take care of him when he's out of my sight.

Naura is welcomed by Maysaroh and Tania. Even Maysaroh asked Tania to take Naura to Tama's room. While Tama is not home, she goes to play with her friends.

"Thank you Tania."

Tania smiled happily. He was very kind and looked sincere to Naura. Unlike Maysaroh who is obsessed with making him a son-in-law but always defending his son who abandoned his wife.

At least there was Tania to talk to.

Naura was about to arrange her clothes into Tama's wardrobe. But, the closet was full of Tama's clothes all. Naura finally left her clothes in the suitcase.

"My eyes are sore, I'm sleepy and very tired today. I want to sleep well tonight. So I beg for a good cooperation tonight, my eyes."

Naura laid her body on the soft mattress, closed her eyes and hoped she would sleep soon. But it turns out that the eyes do not want to be invited to sleep.

"What time is it?" Naura glanced at the clock on her screen which had shown twelve o'clock past thirty minutes and Tama was still not home.

"Ma, why is Tama not home yet. Though he had promised to go home sooner if Naura stayed here." Tania.

Naura heard Tania's voice that seemed to be stepping towards the vestibule to wait for Tama's arrival.

"Your mother is getting banned the more she will do. You were like that a long time ago, so it's hard to change the habit."

Naura grunted with annoyance at the babble of her mother-in-law who again defended her beloved son.

Five minutes…

Ten minutes…

thirty minutes…

The clock has shown at one in the morning and Tama is still not home. Tania even falls asleep on her old hornbill sofa waiting for Tama to come home. Mom slept well in her room. Mama leaves Tania alone in the guest room because Tania insists on waiting until Tama gets home.

Naura sees Tania looking cold sleeping on the sofa, she brings her blanket and covers Tania's body.

"Mmm whoam!"

"Because you're awake, you should move to the room gih. Let me wait for Tama."

"Mbak hasn't slept yet? It's late, tomorrow you have to go to work early." Tania looked worried at Naura.

"You should go to school tomorrow and leave in the morning. So, you have to sleep in the room."

"Well, I went back to my room, too. Just let Tama go home or it's not up to him." Tania pulls Naura's hand, she takes Naura back to the room, then she goes back to her room.

As Naura was about to shut down, she heard the sound of Tama's motorbike. Naura doesn't want to see Tama's face tonight. He closed his eyes and pretended to sleep.

He who never keeps a promise, but instead tells me who does not keep a promise. Tama has no conscience. The only thing he had was his pride.

Tama entered the room slowly. He changed his clothes and went to lie next to Naura. This time he didn't put a roll between himself and Naura, but he put down a long cable that had a plug and he hpharger his phone.

"If you don't want to be electrocuted, don't try to move." Tama muttered while staring sinisterly at Naura's deep face.

Just love your heart. I'm just gonna stay in this house for a week. If in a week's time you don't change, then I'll go back to my parents' house.
