Episode 9

Syeilla was able to open her eyes slowly. Two days ago he was pronounced dead but the Lord showed his wonders through Sheilla.

"Where is this?" her question was puzzled as her eyes were still adjusting to the light of the lights in her ward.

"Thank God you're already aware of Syei" Zia said gratefully. He stood with Linda who was always faithful waiting for him when Zia had to go to the hospital where she worked.

"Miss Sheilla. Can you see my finger" Ariel said when she found out that Sheilla had realized she had rushed there.

"Can doc. The doctor is waving his hand" replied Sheilla.

Ariel then goes on to point her two fingers together to form the letter V. Syeilla answered it.

"How many is this, miss?"

"Two, three, four" and so on. Ariel then immediately resigned after finishing examining Sheilla.

"Well" he said slowly. Linda then thrust out a glass of water and Zia helped Sheilla raise her head to drink.

"I'm why Zi" asked Sheilla weakly. "You found Linda passed out in your room with Syei's bloody nose. Actually what happened that night until you passed out. You almost lost your life two days ago" Zia said.

Syeilla then remembered what she had done last before she fell unconscious and ended up in this hospital.

"Ah then I was nauseous and vomiting in the bathroom, and, after I finished walking to my bed to rest then suddenly my head throbbed pain even as it hurt like sticking a nail forcefully in my head. Want to break the taste. Then there was the blood suddenly flowing from my nose Zi. I was afraid of not having the time to see my baby at birth Zi" Sheilla's cry broke given her limitations.

"Relax Syei I will take care of you until you can see her born. I promised with my life, Syei. I'll make sure you can see it and even take care of it" Zia promised solemnly without any intention just to please Sheilla but she sincerely said it not out of pity.

"Thank you Zia, Linda for taking care of me" Syeilla said sincerely. Then his eyes looked around but there was no sign of anyone else there.

"Where is Linda Aiden?" ask Syeilla slowly.

Linda even waver between having to answer the truth or lying. But if he is telling the truth then his nonanya will be very sad because the person he needs who should be beside him instead went on vacation with his lover. But if he lies it's the same as he gives his missus false happiness. Linda then asked Zia for help who was also looking at her.

"Linda why not answer"

"Look, Miss Anu, Mr. Aiden Anu, has not been home for four days" Linda replied timidly. He was afraid not of being scolded but of hurting his lady's heart which was very good to those who were just servants.

"He went on vacation with his girlfriend Syei. He didn't even know you almost died two days ago. That woman really has no feelings because it has become a thorn in the flesh between your relationships. I was even ashamed as a woman" Zia said at length, there was a distinctly indignant tone printed in each stanza of her sentence.

Syeilla smiled at the words of her best friend. Who wouldn't be hurt if faced with it. Even the wounds in Syeilla's heart could no longer be described through words. But he regained consciousness. Who is he who has the right to forbid and expects Aiden to stay by his side even at times like this.

"The woman is innocent Shei, here I am the thorn among them even though my status is superior to her. But I was the one who got into Aiden's life until he got sick of seeing me himself. Isn't it natural that I didn't expect him to be here" Syeilla said grievously but he tried to keep looking fine.

Linda even to the point of tears heard the story of her miss. He didn't even know what would happen if it happened to him. It may have long hanged itself or plunged itself into the deepest lake in the world.

"A very nice lady. Miss never even differentiated our social status but why should miss experience such a painful thing" Linda regretted sadly.

"Do you believe in karma?" ask Syeilla to the two of them. They also nodded simultaneously.

"This is my karma from God" Syeilla said wryly.

Syeilla smiled back at him. "You don't even know how cruel I was in the past. I'm not as good as you think Linda is. I am a man full of the mud of sin even until I die I may never be able to clean the mud from my body. I really don't deserve you to mention being Linda's good person" Sheilla said with a soft smile.

"But it's just Syei's past, you've even noticed it and it's changed. Why continue to sit in the past if in fact there is a future that you can achieve" Zia exclaimed as she looked gently at Sheilla.

"I doubt if a person like me still has a future for Zi" Sheilla chuckled softly.

"I don't like to hear you're this pessimistic. Come on, everyone has a future. No one doesn't have it unless they die at a young age" Zia joked but was able to publish a thin smile on Sheilla's pale lips.

"You're right Zi shouldn't have been as pessimistic as I was. We do not know what God's destiny will be. From now on I will be excited to see her born into this world" a smile re-rise and adorn the face of her father who still looks beautiful.

"Sorry miss what are you talking about until miss should be afraid of not being able to see the young master at birth" Linda asked puzzledly scaligus curiously.

They both become confused. They forget that only Zia and herself and Ariel know about her illness.

"Syeilla was only worried that when she gave birth later something like bleeding suddenly happened. So she was afraid she could not see her baby when she was born. Not so Syei" asked Zia while coding Syeilla in the form of a blink.

"It's true Linda. It usually happens to pregnant women. The worry is always there"

"Oh thank goodness I think there's something serious, miss. Then excuse me Miss Syeilla and Miss Zia" said and passed from there.

Elsewhere someone was pecking at his house because he did not find Sheilla anywhere.

"Mana Sheilla" she shouted at her housekeeper.

"Anu. monsieur Syeilla anu." replied her ART nervously.

"Anu... Anu's..  Tell me the obvious" Aiden snapped furiously.

"A few days ago, she was taken to the hospital. Miss fell unconscious with a bloody nose" explained one of the ARTs who saw the incident.

For some reason worry suddenly spread across his heart.

"In the hospital where he was treated"

"Partra Mommy Tuan Citra Hospital"

Aiden immediately slid there to see the person who had worried him.

"I hope you'll be okay, Sheilla" he muttered and drove the car at top speed.
