Three Years Different

Three Years Different
55 (1): I am a Woman

"What do you mean?"

Mardiyah said, "I don't need to explain. You should have known what your grandfather, your father, and your brother did."

Abhimana frowned.

"I know you're disappointed. I understand you don't want your mother to know about my whereabouts." Mardiyah nodded slowly, and rubbed the nose shoots. "I understand, Abhimana. I understand your feelings as a child."

"But how little do you not understand me?" Mardiyah. "Don't understand me as your brother. Not ... try to understand me as a child who for twenty-three years lived in the world without knowing the face of my parents."

Abhimana's hands clenched, unable to stare hard. What the fuck is this woman? Crying and asking to be understood?

"I have absolutely no intention of taking your father, Abhimana. He's your father. You are born from a good relationship, you will never feel the pain I feel. Never a little." Mardiyah paused by rubbing the rough left and right cheeks. "Because your father, your mother, your grandfather, your brother and your whole family seem to love each other."

Abhimana. The woman in front of him is getting bigger.

"Beyond your family's bad. You guys stay family. You guys keep protecting each other." Mardiyah pointed at herself by looking at Abhimana. "And me. Who am I, Abhimana? Mr. Manggala knows me too, and wants to take me no more to drive me away from your father's life."

Mardiyah stared straight, throwing away her face no longer looking at her half-brother. "I'm nothing more than a bitch, right, Abhimana?"

Just as his mouth was about to open to answer, Mardiyah passed away.

"Damn."

Abhimana kicked the pebbles around his feet with a feeling of unease. I don't know why his heart is a little weak. If the life that woman lived was sad. Why don't you go with her mother? Why should I live?

"Abhimana."

Hearing the voice of his twin brother spontaneously Abhimana turned around. "What are you doing here?"

"What did you do? He said go to the toilet." Abhimata's hand pointed in the back. "Lo what's he?"

"He who?"

Abhimata stared flatly. "According to you?"

Abhimana is upset. "Lo think I'm gonna have anything on him? Also in the pesantren. Why does your brain like to think nothing of me?"

"Because I know your character is radak crazy. That's why I asked" said Abhimata.

Netra Abhimana widened not accept with the words of his brother. "Angyr. Lo mouth, Bhimata!"

"Gue's no longer kidding, Bhimana." Abhimata paused staring at the rice fields adjacent directly to the pesantren garden. "It's not like you can appreciate him as a brother. Try to appreciate it as Lutfan's wife."

The message has been sent for at least twenty minutes. Why did the wife not come? Said earlier, it has arrived at the pesantren. But in the wait never seen the trunk of his nose.

Aldo, Vincent, Linggar, Lingga, Abhimana and Abhimata toured the pesantren guided by Banyu. Because his friends understand, that it does not allow the condition to go around and outside for too long.

"Assalamualaik."

"Sorry." Mardiyah passed through Lutfan and was directly behind pushing her husband's wheelchair to get closer to the gray living room sofa. "So stop by the park first."

"When you go to the park?"

Mardiyah took a seat on the sofa and confronted Lutfan. "You think people go to the park usually what?"

"Yes .. yes anu. A bunch. I can do it."

"I was just sitting around looking at the view" replied Mardiyah.

"Oh." Lutfan was silent looking at Mardiyah who looked dreamy while holding her right hand and rubbing there. "Mar ..."

There's no response.

"Mardi."

Mardiyah. "Yes?"

"Lo daydreaming what's good?"

Mardiyah. "I don't dream."

"Lies look so bad."

"Hm? A lie? I'm not lying."

Lutfan clucked, that very second when his neutrals and Mardiyah met Lutfan's hand raised, pulling Mardiyah's chin to get closer.

"Lutfan .. This isn't home."

"What the fuck." Lutfan took his hand off Mardiyah's chin. "Gu-gue has no intention of wanting yes. O-I just want to see your eyes."

"Why my eyes?"

Lutfan pointed right next to Mardiyah's eye. "Red. You're crying, huh?"

Mardiyah.

"Gue really, right? Lo diem means, yes."

Mardiyah would never be able to lie to Lutfan. If even lying a few seconds passed would feel unkind, there was something tickling in his heart. "I am a woman, no crying time is allowed" replied Mardiyah.

"Gue didn't say no."

"What did he keep?"

"Why are you crying?"

Mardiyah lowered her husband's hand. "I just want to cry. I'm okay."

"Lied." Lutfan looked inside his wife. "Who, Mar? Abhimata's? Abhimana's? Or Linga, Linggar?
