Oni are much smarter than usual demons, they tend to have human-like bodies, the only difference is that they have horns as well as much more power.
I never thought they would attack the holy city.
When my mind was filled, one knocked on the door and said.
"The Oni have come here."
The four Arch Priests hurriedly covered their faces and had all the guards immediately evaluate the residents to safety.
"Master?"
"I already knew it would be like this, other than removing the curse the Goddesses must have asked me to fight them," I said limply and walked out of the building.
Out there I saw some Orcs popping up, while up in the sky I saw the horned man just watching.
"He must be the leader, you guys take care of his orcs I'll take care of the leader."
"But we're just regular waiters."
I caught the waists of my two servants.
"I already know the identities of the two of you, so don't let me down."
"Eh, sir."
"Uwaha.."
I threw the two away towards the city, just taking care of the leader, I floated towards him or rather faced each other.
He wears a military uniform with a sword on his back.
"Why are the Oni in the holy city? It's not like you guys hide every year."
"What do you say, humans, we Oni are just preparing for this coming day.We have been living underground, now it is time to take your territory, as the first target I showed that the holy city is not a difficult rival for us."
The existence of the Oni has faded since the appearance of the demon lord, but beyond that they re-emerge with this much power, every time I glance around the monsters, they seemed to have been controlled by a power I could hardly imagine.
Compared that.
"Can you introduce yourself first?"
"I'm sorry for his impoliteness, my name is Haki, one of the 12 leaders of the Oni."
In other words there are 11 more troublesome people like this, if you think back on this could be what the Goddesses say that the threat of the world is not only located in the demon king.
If so touching the chest of Goddess Ristal will not be enough to give me credit.
Haki pointed one hand towards me to summon a magic circle past his fingers, if there was an easy way to escape from here it might just be by negotiating.
"If you have this kind of power instead of this, you'd be in alliance with humans and then defeat the demon lord together."
"We don't need human help."
BOOMED.
Smoke billowed into the air with an explosion that violently hit me from the front. Except for the dirty clothes, I felt nothing at all.
"How could humans withstand the attack just now."
"It's nothing like this."
I shortened the distance from Haki, hitting him in the face until he was thrown down to destroy one of the buildings.
"Damn it.. What the fuck is that?"
Haki got up while pulling his sword before darting forward, I dodged every single one of those directional swings then kicked it in a counterattack.
Right where Haki fell the figure of a woman sitting on a rock in the same uniform. His red hair he tied a ponytail.
"You're so weak Haki."
"This guy is so strong Minerva, you might have a hard time fighting him."
"You think so, how powerful are humans if they can't use magic, they're nothing."
When the woman flicked her hand in an instant the entire city was enveloped in protective cover in an instant, my body was like weakened or rather my 10 dark rings were not working.
"My magic disappeared."
"You've realized it. Now you're dead."
Minerva shot black balls at me, which produced successive explosions.
"If this protector removes magic why can you use it?" I asked back.
"Don't misunderstand humans, I don't use magic but curse energy."
"Energy curse?"
"An energy gained from human fear, that's what we use."
Minerva created several black swords that stuck together at my feet and hands.
"I've weakened him, now kill him Haki."
"I know."
