Chapter 495: Against Diablo

Ken ran between the back of the building to avoid small balls pointing at him, just by pointing his finger a man named Diablo was able to shoot out explosive magic as if it was not difficult.

Ken spun around to target the figure of the man with his sword, the sword he swung created blades of wind that shot out at the ground surface.

"Free."

The protective wall held back the slash.

Ken who realized his attack failed to immediately hide, even though the building and himself were detonated easily.

"Aaaargh."

"Look, all your strength won't work for me."

Ken clicked his tongue to try to stand up from the slump, he took his sword and ran back towards Diablo, different from before he decided to challenge him head-on.

"Black ball."

Saying that small balls began to be thrown from his fingers, Ken zigzagged to avoid them, as he managed to narrow the distance between the two he swung his sword with all his might, the wall that had been holding back his attack was smashed into pieces until it was put to good use by him.

Ken kicked Diablo's stomach until he spewed blood from his mouth and flung some of them backwards.

"Damn it. You can destroy my protector."

"Different from before my sword is a little special, this sword can collect mana in the air and store it in it so that it can dismiss magic or destroy it."

"So then, you are indeed quite a difficult opponent."

Diablo who had since attacked from a distance decided to fight Ken differently, he used both of his fists reinforced with magic.

Every fist that was smashed with that blade of sword continued to produce strong gusts of wind.

"It's very powerful" said Ken.

Ken added more mana into his sword including his own mana, as it clashed with both Diablo's hands both jerked backwards before returning to attack each other.

The punch hit Ken's face before Diablo kept his distance, he let out a long sigh before reaching into his clothing pocket to eat a medicine from there.

"What are you doing?"

"This is my true strength."

Diablo in an instant turned into a demon, his hand turned into a claw ready to rip apart anything he went through.

"This shape is better."

"You're turning into a demon."

"It's so sad."

"Let's see who's pathetic between us."

Diablo directed his hand to create black balls, different from before the balls were bigger and more deadly.

"Shooter."

The balls are tucked away in unison crashing into the building behind Ken who is evading him.

"If you keep avoiding this fight, it won't be over."

"Basic monster."

Ken slipped inside the building but the building was blown up so easily that he jumped out of the window.

Right Ken looked up at the top of a punch landed on his face to create a super strong sonic wave.

Ken's body swirled in the air through three houses before finally being restrained on the wall of one of the buildings with blood pouring from all over his body.

Diablo walked over.

"It's still alive? I admit you're very strong but the next attack will end it all."

Diablo raised one hand to create a black sphere, it began to change its shape to extend to resemble a giant spear.

"With this, die."

The spear shot at high speed splitting the air like a bullet, just as it was about to hit Ken's heart one had stood there catching him easily. He said with a light tone.

"Your opponent is me, Diablo."

"Amateuras."

"It's so sad, I can't win against him" Ken cut in frustration.

"Surely, his strength is indeed on par with Encore."

"I'm flattered."

Amaterasu.

"I wanted to wait for my master's return in the city, unfortunately after feeling your power I changed my mind and came here with teleportation magic, I will avenge your former deeds that dragged me to the underwater tower."

"You still remember it apparently, I just wanted to take your entire cursed sword and give it to one of the kings of the world unfortunately they couldn't make good use of it."
